We met Raul and Daisy through Raul's sister, Vanessa. Vanessa and her husband use to be our dog walkers but have since given the reigns to Raul. A big heart and reliability seem to run in the family because Raul and Daisy have been nothing but phenomenal. They were on time for our meet and greet, instantaneously responsive via text and phone, and has pulled through for us in an emergency pinch. On the second day that they were scheduled to walk our dogs, I frantically text Raul at 7am asking if he'd be able to rush my puppy to the vet. He immediately called me and asked what was going on. When I explained that my new puppy was lethargic and not herself, he assured me he'd make sure my puppy got to the Vet, but just needed to rearrange a few things. Raul stated he would call me back immediately once he made a few phone calls. Lo and behold, he contacted me shortly later and informed me that Daisy would transport my puppy. Daisy had to rearrange things around in order to make that happen! My puppy arrived at the vet 15 minutes early for her appointment! As if this last minute accommodation isn't impressive enough, I'd like to add that my vet is approximately 45 miles away from our home. Not only did they pull through, but they were willing to take our puppy that far so that I'd have peace of mind that my furbaby was in the RIGHT hands. The second Daisy arrived to pick up our puppy, she notified me via text. When our puppy arrived at the hospital, Daisy notified me via text again. I'm an extreme worrywart when it comes to my furbabies so the constant updates was SO APPRECIATED. Each day that they visit our furbabies, they send me photos and videos. It totally perks me up at work! They are so sweet, so reliable, so dedicated, and FULL of heart. Despite the short amount of time we've retained them, we are so impressed with their services! We found Raul on yelp. We need to travel oversea and one dog 2 cats need to be taken care of. He and Xavier came to meet our pets with a very short notice for free. He is very friendly and asked through questions about our pets routine and special needs. Later we changed mind and decided to boarding our dog, even though he does not provide that service, he referred us to his brother in law Devyn, who was so helpful and took care our dog for about 20 days. Then Raul did cat sitting for the same period and sent us updates and pictures every day, even helped us watering our plants. Very responsive with message, even at late night. Raul has been walking my dogs the last 5 years as an associate of Helping Paws So Cal and has been nothing but patient, understanding and reliable. Our dogs are always happy to see him and they enjoy their walks with him. He is very flexible as well, understanding if our dogs would prefer not to walk in the pouring rain (which rarely happens) or the searing heat (which does) or if they need to be handled in a specific way before exiting the house or on the walk itself. The dogs and communication regarding their preferences/needs are a top priority for him. I would highly recommend him and his service. I reached out with less notice then I would normally like but they were able to work with me to set up a meeting with me and my critters before i left, go over all the important details and send me off feeling secure that I had care for my pets. Raul contacted us via Instagram when we reached out to our followers asking if anyone knew of a dog sitter willing to stay at our house. We have two pups, a pit bull and a bull terrier and we even warned that the BT can be a lil stinker. One of our young cats is an escape artist and I half-expected to receive a call saying he dashed out.
