BOLT Had extreme leash reactivity , would fence fight with anything that would pass our fence . He was also very anxious and his stress level was always high ...hated bikes and skate boards We were giving up hope that this was going to be the new normal but we didn't want to give up so we called Jacklyn and let's just say the rest was history The amount of progress that bolt made in one week! Tom let me know he had a class that started two weeks ago but that I can come participate and watch and can decide if I wanted to join. I came late and I stood behind away from every dog because my dog was very fearful and reactive, barking at everyone. Tom let me start that day and told me I could be continue to come and would be added to the next cohort at the end of the month, he gave me those extra weeks without charging me extra. I have been going every session since 1/8 M-Th and my dog is doing very well she is less reactive and is finding a purpose. She gets excited to go because she puts her collar, leash, and jumps in the car. I also found out a lot of her reactivity and fear was because I was scared and she was feeding from my energy and also that she just wanted to play with the other dogs, I have learned how to read her body language she is progressing very well. Roel took Bumi in and was so patient with Bumi, he and his team really worked wonders with Bumi. From when we adopted him to now, it's a night and day change. His reactivity is still present because it can't change overnight but, with Roel and his teams help, it is much much much more manageable. Nala is 11, very smart, independent, and has a strong protective streak, so she is not an easy dog to work with. Before training she was reactive toward other dogs/people/cars/bikes, selective with recall, and tended to make her own choices in stressful situations. I honestly did not expect much change at her age, but Julie proved me wrong. During the board and train, Nala became much more neutral around dogs, her recall improved, and she learned how to work calmly and confidently on the e collar. What I really appreciate is that Julie did not try to change who Nala is. She clearly understands complex, sensitive, very smart dogs and tailored the training to fit Nala instead of forcing a one size fits all method. Nala came home calmer, more responsive, more confident, and overall much easier to handle. Julie also spent a lot of time teaching me and my partner exactly what to do at home so we could keep the progress going. She walked us through the tools, the cues, how to handle Nala in different situations, and what kind of structure she needs day to day. We feel much more confident now. I can't wait to continue working with Julie on advanced obedience! In addition to the class being disorganized (3 classes cancelled without providing a reason), terrible communication (emails which were sent and never received, class is now completely treat driven. I don't know about you but I don't plan to keep treats in my pocket every time I go anywhere with my dog. At some point, my dog needs to learn. Another huge issue--Kelly doesn't teach the group classes. I ended up quitting class because for the money I learned nothing. I'm very disappointed however, I'll find a trainer who doesn't rely on food to get my dog to learn.

Annie cared for our very pregnant and young recently feral kitty. She was amazing. Annie came over for a meet and greet beforehand so we felt comfortable leaving her with our precious little kitty. She bonded immediately with our kitty and sent us numerous pictures and notes that we shared with our friends and family at the events. We have asked Annie to care for our kitty and her 8 kittens again this month while we are away for the day. We have never had a cat before, and of course never 8 kittens, so Annie contacted us coincidently just when our kitty was delivering her 8 kittens.
