I had to wait 20 minutes for a seat at the bar on a Friday morning, and I'm glad to say the wait was worth it! I ordered the biscuit & gravy ($16) and one kids pancake ($5). Both were delicious! The biscuit was perfectly buttery, and it was covered in a rich, flavorful mushroom gravy and came with scrambled eggs. It was filling but somehow not too heavy. I licked my plate clean. The pancake was also wonderful. It was topped with a thin layer of rhubarb jam that brought a nice tartness along with a dollop of sorghum butter and whipped cream, and served with Ohio maple syrup on the side. I could have easily had a whole stack of the pancakes. The staff was friendly, and though the place was busy, the service was efficient. Excited to come here again! Stopped in at the bottle shop at Juneberry the other day. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. He could come and have a glass of wine and hang out with friends or work on a project. They also have Saturday pores where you can try a few different types of wines, whether it be three or five. Juneberry is very popular in town and always has a wait! I'm not a big breakfast person so take this with a grain of salt. You definitely have to wait awhile for your food so be prepared. Juneberry was an absolute delight and totally worth a 40 minute wait. We arrived around 10 am on a Saturday and it was busy- lots of people standing outside , as there is no room for waiting inside. They allow you to track your place in line so we popped over to a friends apartment and got back in plenty of time. You can also walk around and check out some nearby shops and other restaurants to add to your CLE bucket list. We did notice that around 11:30 when we left, there was no line. Maybe that's the sweet spot for next time? Anyway, we had the bar table at the window, which wasn't ideal. It was hard to converse and it got pretty warm. But it's a small place and we didn't want to wait for a table. Once seated, the service moves quite quickly. We were greeted and served water immediately. Two of us order Bloody Mary's and we both loved ours. The mix had great flavor and spices, but not too spicy to enjoy. A good handful of olives too. Yum. Husband ordered two delicious mimosas. We started with cheddar and chive biscuits which were tender and flaky. Served with a seasonal jam which was yummy. I could have eaten 3 more. An order is two large biscuits. I got the French toast which I forgot to photograph, but they were so good. I'll go ahead and say it- maybe the best FT I've ever had. Fluffy bread, no sog, with a gentle crispy edge. It was topped with the seasonal jam and homemade whipped topping. It was so delicious and perfect. I barely touched the side of syrup. I also added a side of bacon- for $5 you get 4 generously sized thick slices of delicious bacon. Totally worth it. Seasonal pancakes were also a hit. Lemon zest and blueberries in the batter- blueberry raspberry syrup to top. They were delicious and fluffy. The breakfast sandwich looked good too. Linda messy, dripping with a garlic maybe Chipotle flavored sauce? Generous portion. We were all so pleased with our meals, and bellies full to happiness. I wish juneberry was on my commute bc I see carry out in my future :-) The service was too notch- fast and friendly. Very nice people, all around. we got there by 8:10am, they open at 8am, it was already packed we ate at the counter and my corner spot allowed me to talk to the hostess who humored me by letting me use their Juneberry stamp on the to go bags( I asked first) The sweet potato cinnamon roll was great, the dough was not overly sweet and with small bites the cream on top(sprinkled with cinnamon and I believe nutmeg) was balanced. I would most definitely order that several more times. The loaded potatoes hit the spot and I went ahead and paid the extra 2$ for bacon and cheese. I would order that again also. Well prepared, fresh, with good flavoring. My only constructive criticism on the food would be recommending more seasoning on the fillet. We opted not to order a dessert because we were full but our waiter brought out a complimentary cherry chocolate moose because of the anniversary celebration. Portion sizes are smaller and the dishes are pricey, but you are getting top tier food if you're celebrating anything special. Staff takes there time which won't rush you. Very chic and bohemian. Tucked away in the Tremont community there are some great stores to visit to fill the 1-2hr wait for a table. Restaurant is small so expect it to be a bit cramped. It was clean, and the hostess and female waitresses are very friendly. We always split food to try more locations in the same day and we split the homemade cheddar and chive biscuit, breakfast burrito and loaded griddled potatoes with bacon and cheese. The food took about an hour to arrive which normally isn't that bad for a heavy trafficked restaurant but it arrived cold. None of the food was hot, warm at best, the eggs on top of the burrito were cold so the yoke didn't run, seasoning was a hit much especially with the parsley and the potatoes were too hard to eat. The flavors in the potatoes and biscuit were great, if they were warm. But while we could find most of the employees in the place, our server was flirting with the other patrons at the bar most of our meal so getting refills and asking why the food was cold didn't come until we'd invested 2hr into this location and we just paid/left instead of staying to criticize. Atmosphere was great, and wait time was understandable but our particular server was a miss and cold food is an unforgivable sin for me. read more

I was lucky to visit on a random Thursday in May 2023 after a workout. I didn't have work on this day so I was able to visit in the early afternoon (their hours of operation back then was limited and still is). They are currently open for brunch, as of May 2024, from Sunday - Thursday from 8am to 2pm. According to their website, they have dinner hours starting soon. I sat at the bar in May 2023 and ordered the JUNEBERRY BREAKFAST ($14) which consists of scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, potatoes, and two types of spreads. I think I got a glass of water too. Everything tasted delicious especially the eggs and bacon. One of the spreads, butter I believe, had a great flavour. I forgot what was used to make it but it had maybe a herb in it. Their website describes the breakfast as: "2 eggs scrambled or crispy fried up*, choice of bacon or sausage, choice of potatoes, fruit or salad, Leavened Bakery wheat toast with butter & jam." Once they have more favourable hours, I'll be back. I want to try their pancakes. I'm normally at work when they are open but I hope to visit on a Saturday or Sunday one day with some friends. Do you desire to be a sardine waiting over 30 minutes for a quaint can on Sunday morning? I do not. In 2025, it is just crazy that a place so small doesn't utilize a scheduling app to save the good citizens of Cleveland their time. You cannot make a reservation online or over the phone. You must show up, put your name on an electronic list, and putz around for Lord knows how long for absolutely no reason, except perhaps to dwell upon how business was done in 1995. You use an app to text/call everyone when it is their turn in line. What difference does it make if they personally enter their info instead of you? It would save many people two trips. If you value your customers but don't value their time, how much do you really value them? You claimed you do it to keep the experience "personal."
