I was hesitant as fried food no longer sits well with my stomach.... But if they're known for clams.. clams it is!!! First condiments were brought out... plentiful, separate and the lemon cut properly, fresh and juicy. I'm already happy because so many places are sparse on the tartar and cocktail sauce and I run out before I'm halfway through. Not here! Then the sandwich arrives and I realize I'm eating this with my fingers due to the massive amount of clams! Fried perfectly... not greasy, not heavy. TENDER!!! And delicious!!! Hands down the best clam strips I have ever had, and I instantly forgot that I wanted that lobster roll. I had coleslaw on the side which was perfect, finely shredded and chilled which is my preference. I ate the WHOLE thing.. leaving behind only a portion of bun which was butter toasted and slightly sweet.. also delicious. Highly recommend... also I was informed if I'd like the roll on the weekend I can call ahead to have the lobster fresh steamed and pulled for my roll... but at this point I was in love with the clams! I appreciate that they made it right, but I wish it had been handled without all the additional stress and aggravation.
