I have to say one thing prior to this review, in restaurant dining is almost always a solid 4 stars. Take out on the other hand is a miss every time. My dill dough wasn't cooked all the way. The Smokey Mac was bland and missing a ton of yummy melty cheese that I love when I get it in restaurant. Fish was mediocre at best and the fries were all the tiny nubs in the bottom of the fry bin. They were also out of Malt Vinegar! I was so disappointed in what is usually one of my favorite restaurants. Next time I'll just have to risk the Covid to get the good stuff of in restaurant dining. read more

Great place for family or friends to grab food or stop in for drinks. The winner in my book is their snitzel with mashed potatoes and veggies, AMAZING! They have Irish nachos, which are basically loaded tater tots but great with drinks. read more

When I was working in Auburn, we'd stop by Oddfellows for happy hour quite frequently. They have a solid beer selection and their happy hour food does the job. The large table in the bar is great for our group as we tend to bring out 10+ at times. If you're looking for some great happy hour food, I'd probably look elsewhere, but this place is comfortable and is good for groups. read more

Well, if you want to throw in towel, then just do it. I went here three years ago and it was pretty good. I just went a few days ago and it was just plain old disgusting. I ordered a Cobb salad. Usually that's pretty safe as somebody in the kitchen grills a chicken breast and places it with the other ingredients. Not here. The salad came out and the chicken meat was literally the nastiest form of meat I've ever seen. It was clumps of multi-colored pieces of chicken, tendon, and chicken skins. How anybody could think that is ok is beyond me. Even the bagged lettuce in the salad had that pink/brown too old look to it. Just a gross place. read more

Came here too early to have the lunch and dinner options, but the breakfast menu consisted of a decent amount of items (front and back of a paper). Got the Pub Hash and the Chicken Fried Pork. Chicken fried pork was very good; their gravy was great and the pork was nice and crisp. I wasn't big on the hash but the corned beef was a nice "Irishy" touch. Beer selection was good, I think they have around 20 taps. The server was very quick to offer her suggestions based on what we normally drank. I usually don't come by Auburn often, but this place is worth a return if I'm in the area. read more

First off, the good things are the decor and the wait staff. Both were lovely. She really pushed the mimosas but since this was a work lunch, that was off the menu. :) Unfortunately, the food was meh at best. The little biscuit that came before the meal was the best part! Yummy but was not served with butter or jam or anything. I had the mac n cheese. It looked gorgeous! And then I dug into it. It was weird and tangy. None of the 3 of us like it. Another had the rueben chop salad. She didn't even eat a third of it. her comment was that it wasn't worth the calories. The last thing was the chicken tenders with fries. The fries were limp and obviously came pre-frozen, The tenders were very bland and also seemed like something that came prefozen with panko breading. This is a pretty solid place. A large beer and drink selection and some pretty awesome food. The wife and I had the pulled pork sandwich (it is called something different as it was toasted with cheese). It was pretty delicious. The place was packed for a Saturday night in downtown Auburn.... If I could give negative stars I would. Our waitress was incredibly rude and snappy to us. She wasn't wearing our mask and literally coughed near our food before bringing it out. My colleagues and I went here for lunch. The restaurant was clean, not busy at all. The food was delicious but I think what holds them back is the service. When we walked in, a staff member yelled across the room for us to pick our table. No biggie. We were sitting for approx. 7 minutes before anyone brought us menus. Another 15 minutes before our order was taken. When our food was brought to us, she asked if we needed anything else. We didn't need anything but we never saw her again until she came to get our empty plates. We were waiting for the check but never got it so one of my colleagues got up and found someone so we could pay. Not sure I'll remember this place to go again but I wouldn't write them off entirely. I've eaten here in the restaurant. The drinks were great as well as the food. Unfortunately we recently ordered for delivery. We were seriously disappointed. We ordered the family style Mac n cheese, garlic bread and a salad. When I read the menu it was called Smokey Mac n cheese. It also said little smokies which was a turn off because we all know that no reputable chef would add lil smokies to a dish. But the kids wanted Mac n cheese so we gave it a try. This was the most tasteless cheese meal I've ever had, it looks like something my kids try to make. The cheese was chunky and the bread was iced cold and not garlic. The butter sent was frozen. The salad had four gigantic green tomato slices stuffed into the corner. I gave three stars because I know this place is better than that. I will never order delivery again for sure. Ordered a Reuben sandwich. They don't use rye bread even though it says they do on the menu. The bread they used was really soggy but I kept eating then bit into something odd. I don't know what it was, I can just describe it as looking like a weed I'd pull from my garden. It was thin and very hard and about as long as my pointer finger. Gross! Maybe something from the sauerkraut? Not edible. The fries that came with it couldn't even be described as a handful unless you're a three year old. Very disappointed. My screwdriver drink was super weak with way too much ice. A sad lunch. I recommend Zola's for food in Auburn, they're way better. read more

Very nice! We had breakfast, tasty, good portions. Normally I prefer hash browns over potatoes, but these were seasoned so deliciously I didn't care. Hubs had the sausage gravy over his meal and said it was really good. Four stars because it's loud (we sat in the bar, true, but could still hear young'uns next door screaming) and also because my cheese biscuit was hard and dry. I wanted it to be soft and fluffy. And I had to ask for butter. Next time, we will order toast instead. All in all a solid breakfast choice, got to come back for the dinner and the 24 beers and ciders on tap. read more

Been to Odd Fellas multiple times, I think it's a great spot for a happy hour and/or a beer but otherwise I'd say it's ok. Good selection of beer and prices are reasonable. However.... although the custom wood bench seats look good they definitely are not comfortable and over all the decor doesn't meet the mark of an irish pub. Stopped in for lunch and the whole experience was just mediocre. The person that seated us and served us didn't seem like they wanted to be there, no interaction or even a slight smile. Maybe the said individual was just having an off day. The food came out quick but again just ok. I had the Cheesy Brit with tats. It wasn't bad but I was not wowed by any means. If someone asked me to meet them there for a beer I'd go but wouldn't go out of my way to go back. read more

My dad took me here on my first day home after being overseas. I went with the "French Dunk" with tots & a root-beer. Great sized sandwich, perfectly cooked and meat sliced the way it should be. The bread was good and the dunk was tasty! Comes with your choice of tots or fries so and went with the waitresses pick... the tots came out golden! Service with a smile, nice clean place with plenty of screens, nothing blasting loud, seating can be cozy or open, people around me all seemed to be happy and having a good time, just like you'd expect in a good restaurant/bar. All the food I eyeballed looked delicious! I need to get back here so I can try the rest of the menu... and I will soon!! read more

Used to love this place, unfortunately they've gone down hill. Food isn't nearly as good anymore, including receiving curdled cheese sauce for a pretzel recently ordered on door dash( see photo). We've been ordering from this place all through the pandemic almost weekly and our latest experience was unacceptable. Ordered through door dash, received sealed bag missing 2 entrees. Called our dasher who was willing to go pick up the additional items if I'd call to have them ready. When I called the gal I spoke with couldn't find my order. Then the bartender apparently packed the order and didn't miss anything. Basically calling me a liar. A gentleman got on the phone-i believe was said bartender. Super rude, and didn't even hear which items were missing. When it became apparent they had no intention of correcting their mistake and fulfilling my order (the two entrees were for my kids btw) I ended the phone conversation. Attached is my DoorDash receipt, and the receipt on the bag showing that the items ordered were no in the bag and were in fact missing through the fault of oddfellas, who had no interest in correcting their mistake but instead wanted to make me out to be a liar. Super disappointed and would discourage anyone from giving this establishment their business. So insulting and rude. read more

Me and the family stopped in last weekend for lunch and were excited when we seen the menu and decor. They have a great beer selection and the staff was very helpful albeit not very versed in their offerings. The menu is standard bar fair with a few "European" dishes. We ordered the poutine, which was God awful. Frozen French fries with powdered gravy and a few unmelted bits of cheese curd. The "smoked" Mac n cheese which tasted like it was made with cheese whiz with sliced hotdogs in it. The worst I've ever had.. The schnitzel sandwich was actually delicious. Finally the bangers and mash. The sausage, mashed potatoes and onions were pretty good, but they ruined the plate by putting cheap, frozen veggies on the side. A decent place to hang out at the bar for drinks, but do yourself a favor and stick to the schnitzel, the rest is terrible. read more

My wife had the WTF fish taco. She loves onions but these were infused with too many onions so she couldn't even finish them. Would not buy them again. I had their cheeseburger. Came here with 3 hungry boys, we were seated as soon as we walked in, the server was ready to take our order for drinks as soon as we sat down. We order about 5 different items from the menu and everything tasted amazing. The food came out so fast the boys didn't even have a chance to complain about how hungry they were. Came here on a Thursday night and my family and I were very disappointed. We ordered burgers and fried food. My family loved their spinach dip but that was the extent of what they liked. Our burger and fry baskets were covered in grease. So bad that my bottom bun was soggy from all the grease in the short amount of time it traveled from the kitchen to my table. It was disgusting. I didn't tell my waitress because we rarely saw her and I already waited 20min for the food. My family's food order was similarly messed up. We will not be back. We were hungry for breakfast this morning and headed for Sunbreak cafe. The line there was to the door and I glanced over and saw OddFellas across the street. I'd just read last week that they were pretty good, and they had a sign that said open for breakfast 7 days a week at 7am, so we headed that way. We were seated immediately and ordered orange juice and hot tea. The waitress brought our drinks promptly. The menu looked very good. My husband ordered the pub hash and I ordered the 2 egg special with banger and biscuit. A few minutes later, the waitress stopped by with coffee cake mini muffins. They were delicious! Moist and tender. Shortly after that, our waitress came by to say that somehow our ticket had not printed in the kitchen and our food was not even being prepared yet. No problem, we asked for a dinner menu to look at to pass the time and were content to wait. The dinner menu looked good and my husband and I joked that we should come back for happy hour on Friday, then discussed coming back for dinner tonight after the movie we had planned this afternoon. Breakfast arrived and I took one bite of my biscuit and was in HEAVEN! I'm not a bread girl...give me meat and potatoes, but this one was awesome! Crisp outside crumb and tender inside. The plate was hot and the butter was partially melted. My husband gave me a bite of the shredded corned beef from his hash and it was tender and full of flavor. How come I never thought to shred mine? Next was my banger...wonderful! Crisp skin and tender, hot interior with a little spice to it. The hashbrowns were amazing, too. Tender and crispy at the same time, with different sized pieces of red potatoes. Eggs were cooked to perfection. Mine over medium, hubby's done over easy. Well...when we were done finishing every bite, the waitress said since we had waited so long for breakfast, it was on them and we didn't need to pay. Not necessary, but wonderful. We left a nice tip and commented what a nice time and breakfast we'd had on our way to the car. Now I have to tell you....we're going back tonight for dinner....I'm absolutely serious.
