The burrata was nice and creamy, but the portion size was on the smaller side. I loved the insalada di pere. The pears and gorgonzola paired well together and the champagne vinaigrette gave it a pleasant sweetness. My family also enjoyed the calamaretti fritti. Considering that I went in on opening night I wasn't expecting to be blown away. That being said, cancel all your future reservations anywhere else and RUN to ODO. The mozzarella melts in your mouth. The Scarpetta sauce, comes with bread for dipping but really should be drank through a straw. And the gnocchi will leave you never wanting to eat pasta anywhere else ever again. I was told that the Mahi Mahi came stuffed with lobster. I asked several times if the lobster meat was part of a stuffing or if it was pure chunks of lobster. I was told it was the latter. Imagine my surprise when the stuffed Mahi Mahi was cut open and it was full of a stuffing mixture and chunks of lobster were nowhere to be found. That was it for me. I was done. I expressed my disappointment with the dish and once again reiterated how I inquired before I ordered the distinction between a stuffing or breading type filler versus whole chucks of lobster and was assured that I would have whole chunks of lobster which was clearly not the case. On the positive side, the cream sauce over the Mahi Mahi was delicious and the waiter was very nice and accommodating and she even offered to make something else for me but I told her no, I would eat what I have because I don't believe in wasting food. She then said you can eat what you ordered and I will make something for you to take home. I declined that offer as well. So she brought a slice of crème brûlée cheesecake for me to take Home. Hubby had the clams oregano and chicken parmigiana. He said they were okay. We both agreed we would not go back.
