I came here for a comedy show recently and had mixed thoughts about our night. To attend the event we ordered tickets online, and then there was a $20 minimum order per person during the show. They set up the event in one of their private rooms, and different groups who signed up for the show sat together, which we had no issues with. We got here about 15 minutes after seating started and the room was filling up. There were 3 other groups at our table that had already ordered food and drinks. It took us a while to place our drink order, which was understandable since it was a very packed house but they were only attending the other side of our table. There were menus at our place settings but there were three options for appetizers and only four options to choose for entrees. We ended up ordering the calamari and the mushroom ravioli. Both were good, but the food arrived right as the show was starting and that was kind of a turnoff for me. Would I return here? Yes, because I would like to dine in their main dining room and explore more of the menu. read more

I went to this Italian spot the other night and really enjoyed it. The vibe is cozy, and the staff makes you feel right at home. The highlight for me was definitely the ravioli funghi. The pasta tasted fresh and the mushroom filling had that deep, earthy flavor that just melts in your mouth. The sauce was creamy but not too heavy--honestly one of the best ravioli dishes I've had in a while. Everything else we tried was solid too, but the ravioli funghi is the dish I'd come back for. I was very disappointed with mine, it had 2 small chicken cutlets with a piece of prosciutto and a piece of mozzarella on top. I could have easily eaten 2 of them. I went to this restaurant for the early New Year's Eve comedy show and dinner. The show was pretty good for local comedy. The food was a disappointment. I know it was a limited menu. The fried calamari appetizer was tasty and a reasonable portion. The veal Marsala was only adequate for a 3 year old. The food was tasty however there was not 2 ounces of veal on the plate and literally 3 cubes of potatoes. There was also a small amount of cabbage and carrots on the plate. To say everyone ate a large amount of bread with their meal would not be an understatement. Desserts were tasty and clearly brought in at $15 each. One person with us said they had eaten there many times and this clearly was not their usual fair. It was enough to put me off and most likely not give it another try. What a wasted opportunity for the restaurant hosting a sold out show of mostly local people to not try and turn us into regulars. read more

I met two long time friends for dinner on a quiet Monday night. We were happy to sit outside during a nice cool evening. None of us had been there before but had heard good things about it. They place a nice size plate of breadsticks and bread with dipping oil while you review the menu. The breadsticks were tasty and crunchy. The dipping oil was tasty and the Italian bread was fresh. Did I forget the bruschetta? Really enjoyable. We began with grilled calamari. Excellent. Not greasy and seasoned perfectly. Appeared to be fresh and not frozen. Our table ordered the Rigatoni Turro, Fettuccine Luisa, and the Orecchiette pasta dish. All of us sent back empty plates. We all mentioned how tasty and excellent our meals were. My dish, the Fettucine Luisa, had shrimps, sliced tomatoes in a garlic and basil broth. All of the portions were acceptable. I could have eaten a lot more. We were too full for dessert. They had a nice selection of Italian desserts. The menu was short and sweet. Enough options of chicken, veal, pasta, and fish. The bathrooms were very clean. The inside had a bar, private party rooms, and a nice atmosphere. The prices were competitive and acceptable. The service was friendly and very good. There is some street parking, parking in the rear, and a big parking lot around the corner. If I lived closer, this would be on my rotation. read more

My wife and I had dinner there. It is an old fashioned (in every best sense of the word restaurant. It is a wonderful place to linger over a meal. We found it to be beautifully decorated, and quiet enough that you can have a quiet conversation. The food was excellent. Iwe shared a caprese salad. I ordered the cavatelli with mushroom sauce and my wife ordered pollo bolognese. Everything was wonderful. We finished the meal off with a dessert of Italian Cheesecake and coffee. Very nice place been here before for a party this was the first time sat down had a lovely dinner started outside but it got windy cold and cloudy so the waiter said let's set you up inside. So we moved everything the drinks the bread the bruschetta. Oh my goodness The bruschetta it was so good. The bread we're all different kinds including very thin crunchy breadsticks. We attended a large gathering and were looking forward to enjoying a great meal with loved ones. Ha - were we wrong!! First, the lack of no air conditioning was a big problem. Every request for lowering the temperature was met with stares and shrugs. The sad part, however, was an adjacent room had plenty of cold air - we all could have moved there and been comfortable. The staff completely ignored our requests for a comfortable room!! Additionally, while the food we received was okay, there wasn't enough to go around. One platter of appetizers for a table of 12 was not enough. For instance, there weren't even 12 eggplant rollatinis on the platter for that table!! Again, our requests for more food was met with stares. It was a very disappointing celebration. If you choose to go to Tre Angelina, you'll have a memorable celebration, for sure, just not a pleasant memory. I started coming to Tre Angelina a few years back with the girls from.work. at the time they were in the process of building a private room. Little did I know that down the road I would have celebrated my 60th birthday in that room. Not only that but this weekend we celebrated our wedding starting with our rehearsal dinner on Friday night and our wedding last night!! I could not have asked for anything more!! It was perfect. The food was delicious, the service was great....Luca our waiter was wonderful! Johnny the owner made sure everything was set up perfectly...he told me you leave everything with me and I will take care of it...they made our wedding weekend a more than memorable occasion. This place is a very good place for a date, very romantic type atmosphere. They start you off with a variety of bread from garlic breadsticks to Italian bread. I had the seafood penne, which had shrimp, scallops, mussels and clams for a little over $20, very reasonable, the seafood was fresh and not overcooked but the pasta was way overcooked. Reservations are suggested because it got packed on a weekend, they would be in trouble if it was not filled up on a weekend. We walked in a little ahead of the dinner crowd and got seats in no time. Tre Angelina is a great place with an amazing and attentive staff. They serve great drinks and you are seated promptly and waited on hand and foot. Tre Angelina is our go-to neighborhood date night restaurant. Elegant and classy but not intimidating or snooty, with a fabulous menu and a great wine list. Our last visit we started with the burrata appetizer, with avocado, red onion and a balsamic drizzle. Small portion, but the cheese was rich and delicious. We also got the beef carpaccio - which is our standard appetizer and is always delicious atop an arugula salad with a lemon/olive oil dressing. Entrees, my boyfriend had a rigatoni dish and I had the balsamic chicken (it has a fancier italian name but you'll recognize it on the menu). Both were great, nicely sized and homemade. Worth the wait, as dining here is really meant to be an experience. For dessert, we shared the linzer tart which was fantastic - highly recommended! We did order a bottle of cabernet in the $45 range that was decent - it was not the best, but that was on our choice, not on the selection! Decent Italian food, but not that authentic. I picked this place because it advertises as Northern Italian, which you almost never see. I prefer the cuisine of the north as that is where my father immigrated from. So I was excited for flavors and dishes I would recognize as Italian food from my vacations in Italy. While the food was ok, it was more of your standard (Southern) Italian menu that we are used to in America. After being out of town for a couple of months I couldn't wait to get back to Tre Angelina to enjoy the delicious food and great service. The filet of sole is so good and they will prepare it any way you like. I usually get sole piccata and it does not disappoint. One of my other favorites it chicken Milanese with a salad. The best you will fine anywhere in the area! The best of all is if it's not on the menu they will make whatever you are craving!! The staff is always welcoming and so accommodating. We were seated immediately, treated like royalty and experienced outstanding service and we were both impressed with the attention we received from our waiter and all of the service staff. Everything about our visit and meal there on 3/26/22 was perfect. The service was friendly, relaxed, and prompt. The meals were prepared and presented perfectly. Even the minor details were exceptional - the water, the tomato in the salad, the light and tasty salad oil...not to mention the main meals of chicken and pasta with shrimp. Food: purty darn good. Ambiance: seems warm and inviting from the outside, but when we got in it wasn't so much....hard to quantify that, it's one of those "know it when you see it" things. The wait staff was plenty attentive, but I got the impression it was the owners working the place. We celebrated my Mom's birthday this year with a wonderful family outdoor dinner at Tre Angelina Restaurant in White Plains. The weather was great for outdoor dining. Owner Luca was a WONDERFUL host AND quite the comedian! The waitstaff were pleasant, friendly and very attentive. Not a minute went by without someone readily available to respond to a request. We started the evening off with lovely refreshing delicious cocktails. Next we enjoyed some delicious bruschetta and a wonderful bread basket with 3 kinds of bread which was accompanied by a great marinara dipping sauce. I had been craving pasta Bolognese for some time and FINALLY enjoyed a dish that did not disappoint. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the meat sauce was rich, flavorful and absolutely delicious. Dinner at Tre Angelina was a wonderful experience for myself AND my family. A group of 4 of us tried this restaurant last week on a whim, and we were not disappointed! It was delicious, the staff was great, and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice, quiet, sophisticated meal. They started us off with 4 different kinds of bread (including free bruchetta bread which was VERY good) and a delish marinara dipping sauce. The caesar salad was great -- it had a very light, less creamy dressing, which I love. I ordered the chicken special, which was chicken stuffed with spinach and fontina cheese and topped with a light brown sauce. It was VERY good -- cooked to perfection and the PERFECT portion size. My husband ordered the bone-in veal chop special, and he really enjoyed it. I heard no complaints that evening! Overall, this place is great and it could become my new favorite spot! I recently went there for a party. The place looked decent. The bathroom had no heat and no hot water, FREEZING. Plus the men's room had no hand soap. The food was ok, but everything was super small. The salad, pasta, then entrée. When my entrée came to the table it was especially small. I started to laugh uncontrollably. My table was asking what was so funny. All I had to do was point at my plate, soon the whole table was laughing. So I understand maybe the party had a fixed price and everyone got the kid sized version of their meals. But the wait staff was the ROUGHEST I've ever experienced. They were throwing and plopping plates around the table like they were dealing a poker game. Borderline slamming them on the table as well. Our entire table thought so. It felt like they were very ANGRY about something. One guy was slacking plates to remove them from the table. Slamming them one on top of the other right next to my ear.
