    Would not recommend the crab
    Elise M.

Beautiful ambiance. Love the decor. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Had the linguine with clams and it was delicious. Linguine was cooked perfectly (Al dente.) Loved the bread with small antipasto plate that came for free before the meal. Also got the seafood platter for two. The clams lobster and shrimp were good, but the main disappointment was the oysters and crab - they didn't seem like the best quality and didn't taste great. Couldn't eat the crab. It's probably best to go to a seafood restaurant for a raw bar. But would go back for more pasta and other dishes! Also had the chocolate lava cake for dessert which was delicious.

    Pasta special!

Best Italian, Sicilian food in Scarsdale! Ambiance is awesome! Alessandro, manager charming, warm, and grateful! Don't miss out on this new GEM!!! Westchester's BEST!

Just look at this meat and cheese plate! Thats 60 bucks right there.

I'll start with the good because it is so short: the space is very nice, some of the entrees tasted pretty good - but only the entree itself, not the side dishes served on the plate with the entree. So about 15 percent of the food was any good. The space was well lit and attractive however. The pasta was a joke, like college cafe style joke. I'd get better pasta at noodles (a Midwest chain) than this "fine dinning" establishment. And there is the other key mistake, this is not a fine dining establishment, and they should not have advertised as such. They claim it is unfair to compare them to Cafe Alaia, why then did they open right down the street? But they are correct, the other similar offerings on the street are simply worlds better. This spot can not compete in a sentence with them. The side dishes were undercooked, veggies inedible and the fries had so much truffle oil as to be inedible. Do not go here, maybe whatever replaces it will be better. Oh, and it took hours to get the crappy food with a wait staff that did not care at all. They need all new staff, all new kitchen, and someone should teach the management and ownership what fine dining is. Least I forget, the service was by far the worst part. After nearly an hour the server finally returned to our table to explain the meat and cheese plates we ordered off the menu we're taking so long because, and I quote, "we do not know how to make them, you are the first to order". I encouraged them not to admit such foolishess in the future...if a restaurant can not make a meat and cheese plate, if they have not practiced their own menu 6 weeks from hard open, well they are not much of a restaurant now, are they? The service continues to get worse as it became obvious we were unhappy, no attempt.to rectify was made, save comping a drink they served that we had not ordered (because they could not recall who was drinking what, of course)

Nice service and great food. The waiter very nice and accommodating. White table cloth, Italian music. Wonderful family or date atmosphere Food was generous portions but leave room for desserts. They have home made tiramisu! Overall a must try in Westchester!!

Had to have a taste before posting!

I opted for water as my grandson did and his fiancé order a glass of white wine. It was Sauvignon Blanc, and she found very satisfying. For an appetizer, we shared a truffle pizza. It was a different flavor that I never had before, but very tasty. For entrees they ordered a sliced steak and chicken parm. I went for the seared duck with mushroom gravy. I never had duck served this way. I really really enjoyed it. No one wanted a dessert so my grandson ordered espresso and I ordered a cappuccino. The waitress brought us thin slices of powdered sugar biscotti as a compliment. The ambience is quiet and cozy and dimly lit with an electric light on each table. On the menu it mentions like this restaurant is a sister location of Cafe Alia, also in Scarsdale. This was an excellent choice for Thursday night. You won't be disappointed.Sal E. New Rochelle

The service is always stellar with a good wine menu. The ambiance is peaceful and cozy always with the Garth Road locals who are such wonderful people. But I actually came here twice this week because of their personal pizzas. The manager told me to try it and I fell in love with it, in addition to their mouth watering paella. I even stopped by there yesterday just to have a couple of glasses of wine. Knowing myself, I'll be back there this weekend or next week.

This restaurant is conveniently located right across the street from the Mamaroneck Metro North…read moretrain station. The decor is tasteful and elegant. They have several tables in the front and additional seating in the back. Our waiter was very kind and accommodating. To drink, I had a mocktail. I was worried it would be too sweet because it included sprite and cranberry juice, but it was actually very pleasant and bursting with flavor. For my main, I had the frittata. It was tasty. Some of the broccoli rabe was a little tough to chew, but not too bad. It was topped with a generous portion of cheese. I loved the tender mushrooms. My husband got the cozze. The portion of mussels was large and he enjoyed the sauce. We also shared the cinnamon french toast, which was delicious. It didn't even need syrup as it was perfectly sweet with the cream and berries on top. Even so, they had several syrups to choose from including amber and maple. Looking forward to coming back to try the dinner menu.

My sister and I ordered food, before anyone else came into the restaurant. My latte came in a soup bowl. I could barely pick it up. We ordered the pancakes and eggs. My entire plate was meat and I had two very small eggs. The bread was very stale and hard. It also took over 45 minutes to come out. Save your money. There are much better restaurants around here.
