And OffRoad Auto is no longer in buisiness...... Seized by Colorado Dept of Revenue! We also bought a CanAm UTV the same day from OffRoad, but now they are shut down! I purchased a car in July 2024, along with a service agreement. In May 2025 we decided to sell the car and I canceled the service agreement with the dealership. The service agreement company credited Off Road Automotive on 5/19. No, over two Months later they still have not sent the refund to my bank to credit my loan! I called over a dozen times, left messages for the owner, Adam Landkammer, to call me back. Explained the situation to several sales people. I even emailed both Adam and his assistant. I then sent a registered letter to Adam demanding that my loan be credited the over $2000 owed and still never received a response. As far as I'm concerned they have stolen my money and are scam artists. So beware of doing business with them. read more

My son bought a vehicle from here and is doing the buy here pay here financing. They have been taking money out of his account every week without his authorization then when he tries to call them no one ever answers. I recently filed a complaint on this dealer and had an investigator assigned to my claim over them, I purchased a truck from them in July 2024 and they never sent me my title or sent anything to the state, I'm not sure what's going on or if I will get my title and it's super frustrating. Been trying to get ahold of someone so I can get work done to my vehicle and use the warranty that is apparently only good at the dealership and no one picks up their phone. Drove by today as I was going into Denver and the dealerships vehicles are completely gone, the lot is empty, but the signage is still up. Yet, they claim on their site they are still open. I guess I'll have to call warranty myself and see what they can do to help me since they can't seem to respond to anyone. I manage to stay friends with the guy who sold me the vehicle and he's sorry that this is going on, but he quit right after selling me the vehicle because they weren't paying him. They will treat you like a Number, We had some issues with a Loan and they were supposed to Credit something back (3 Grand), called over 35 times and have had no call back. They won't care about you, now i have to contact an attorney because of this. They say "We will pass on the message" but never do. there lack of communication is making it impossible for me to sell my car. based on my experience, DONT buy from these people. we were supposed to have the car ready on a Wednesday and drove to Colorado two days before a wedding to pick it up and the car had a broken windshield, had not been cleaned and the convertible top wasn't working. we were told it's against the law in Colorado to purchase a vehicle with a broken windshield yet the windshield wasn't repaired prior to our arrival. We wasted two days of hotel money and two days of meals waiting for this car to be ready. Will not purchase a car from here again. read more

Safety and reliability is paramount in a used vehicle. Many dealerships provide a checklist of items, potential problems and alternatives if repair/adjustment needed. When a vehicle is offered "as new" with no problems, exceedingly low mileage, one would tend to believe the sales persons word. If after purchase, electrical or mechanical issues not obvious in initial acceptance are found, one would expect some compromise. After repeated back and forth, no such compromise was offered. Worked a deal to deliver truck at a price after he couldn't get others financed, I was trying to finance my way which failed due to being commercial vehicle (F650) then asked if I would fill application on his website which was had a glitch (wouldn't take phone numbers to employer) He then ignored me from then and sold the vehicle to another person. We bought a 2012 1500 Dodge Ram last year. We have had nothing but problems with it since we got it home. The only smart thing we did was buy the extended warranty. Off-Road Automotive gives used car dealers a bad name. I drove over an hour (half of it on toll roads) up to remotest Fort Lupton to look at a truck they'd advertised for weeks. I arrived at the fenced-in lot and walked between the rows of 50-or-so cars and trucks. Couldn't find it. Finally talked to a salesman...showed him the online ad on my phone. "We just sold it," he said. He immediately and unapologetically told me that he has another truck with the same engine. "I'm not interested in the engine," I told him, "I'm interested in the suspension." He didn't know what to say because he never knew what was significant about the suspension of the truck in his ad. I'm writing this review days later, and guess what? The ghost truck is STILL advertised as for sale. In other words, Off-Road Automotive has an honesty problem. A very major honesty problem. In fact, now that I know what kind of operation Off-Road Automotive is running, I looked up all the vehicles they've posted online, and guess what? There are THREE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-ONE of them (and that's bundling duplicates). This business has no concept of honesty, and honesty -- truth -- is the most important of the virtues. I am very disappointed in the service I received! First of all, I called a head of time with all the details to my situation. I was traveling a couple hours with my family to come look at a specific vehicle that I and the dealer Christopher had discussed over the phone. For him to show me EVERY vehicle but the one we talked about! I made it very clear I had a 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid that I only gotten back in May that I needed to trade in for a bigger vehicle preferably one with 3rd row seating as I am a mother of 3 boys ages 12,8,&7 and also due in January. So expressed very clearly that I cannot afford financing a vehicle or having payments because the car I got back in May was bought out right for me but he wanted to try to finance me close to two grand for a vehicle that was older then mine and in a lot crappier condition needed a paint job still serviced. My Express to him that I live off of my kids is survivor's benefits he still continued to try to convince me into this vehicle I was not wanting still never ended up showing me the vehicle I spent 2 hours to come look at so as a mother of soon to be four with little to no money he had wasted my time my money and got my hopes up I would not recommend this dealership to anybody. And I pray that he never is in a position that I am in but he's a very good con artist but he did not get me. So I still sit here with a little car still doing January and no thanks to him I had no help very disappointed. But I understand if he sells a car he makes money so that's all his concern was. read more
