Have purchased a couple of cars there. That was ok. Brought F150 in because cooler fans for engine stayed on after car shut off killing the battery. Brought in 2x for diagnostics. No fix or diagnosis because they could not replicate. On third visit - fixed...simply a relay in the hood fuse box. Well, the was not the end of it. When I got home wipers not working. Relay missing and same relay as for fan. Not a bait and switch, just a switch. Hmmmm. Perhaps the mechanic's should indulge in Occum's razor. Normally the easiest explanation is the one that is correct after 3 visits and having to buy a new relay at the parts store for my wipers. read more

Doesn't quite rate a "1" star. First of all, there was no "Ford" sign so one couldn't even find where to go to speak with a salesperson on the massive lot complex; we saw Maserati, saw other other brands in the dealership but no "Ford". We ended up in an unmarked building and a staff member helped us at that point by phoning the Ford building...was sort of funny - we got passed around on the phone and it seemed like no salesperson wanted to help. When we got to the unmarked Ford building the salespeople were kind of lounging around - a different feeling than at other dealers. The salesperson we got was not super friendly at first but then he warmed up a bit; he really didn't know much about Transit vans, which is the sole reason we visited. I watched a few YouTube videos and now very likely know much more about Transit vans than the salesperson that was assigned, especially regarding passenger vs. commercial Transit vans, heights, lengths, available options and may items our salesperson didn't mention. We would never buy a vehicle from there...they are not customer focused and seem to have little interest in assisting customers or selling vehicles. read more

"Buying a car is the WORST" "Buying a car now with the inventory issues is a NIGHTMARE" "Ewww, dealerships are only out to screw you" All things we heard, but we needed to replace our truck anyway. Sill-TerHar helped us in 2013 with a Mustang purchase, and has been our go-to service dealer on the F350 we bought private sale since then, so going back to them now for the F250 Super Duty was a given. Yes, the lot was mostly empty. Yes, we had to wait and wait and wait, but we got the EXACT truck we wanted with a great experience the entire time, from walking on the lot to finally driving off it in our new truck. Steve Power was very upfront about timing issues and definitely did not try to sugarcoat how long it could take (he said six to nine months, we got it in seven months and two weeks) to arrive. The plus side is that we got to build our truck line by line until it was our perfection. The value of our trade-in was upfront, transparent, a back and forth conversation, and fair. Steve had the perfect blend of keeping us in the "no news yet" loop without making us feel forgotten or impatient while we all waited. Once it finally arrived...what a day!! Steve did a great job walking us through the truck's features, controls, etc. He made sure we understood the basics, and pointed out some cool things it would have taken us a bit to find. Then off to finance. I could/would groan, but as a financial advisor myself - this is where I shine as I look for shenanigans. Robert von Tempsky took all the fun out of it by being completely honest, open, forthcoming, and informative. (please note the sarcasm there - there were NO shenanigans for me to call out, which is exactly what you want when talking money!) There were several options presented along the way and they were completely and thoroughly explained. At no point was anything glossed over, or sprung on us, or "oh don't worry about that"ed. Rates had just gone up considerably and he was still able to find us an amazing rate. We've had our truck a few weeks and just noticed an issue with the sealing around our sunroof. Even though the sale is done and they are paid, Steve jumped on it immediately and helped us get it going through the warranty. SI'll tee hadhas very unethical business practices. We were told today by our sales agent that the car we wanted and had requested months prior was available. We instantly said that we would wire the money immediately (that minute) and sign all documents. We were then told only minutes later that the car had been promised to numerous people at the same time and whoever could drive to the dealership the quickest gets the car. I come from a world of honesty and integrity and this dealership has none of those qualities. What kind of business operates in that fashion? Stay away from Silthar, I surely will and will be buying my car from a different dealership for sure. read more

Sales Review: I initially had a positive experience with this dealership buying a Ford F-150 and while I'm happy with my vehicle and the sales person I worked with was professional, the dealership back office is a joke. Four months later I am getting calls from the dealership because they lost paperwork. I purchased with X-Plan. I did all of the paperwork, signed my financing thru my credit union and drove home in my F-150 on 5-18-2018. Got my June 14th, I get a call out of the blue from Tom Wilbur (finance guy) stating they lost some paperwork. Turns out they lost two pieces of paperwork a document for a discount and the power of attorney to be able to sell my trade. I emailed the discount paperwork back (they acknowledged receipt by email), and went in to sign power of attorney. I thought at this point I was done. Now they call me on Sept 12th 2018 saying they have some audit and need me to sign some paperwork. Sorry guys, its not my job to cover your butts for an audit. It was literally the same document as before that I signed (I checked my sent messages). All I want in a car buying experience is to go in, buy a vehicle for a fair price and be on my way. This has been a 4 months long process of the dealer bugging me for more paperwork. In addition to the hassle of paperwork, I felt the tone of the phone calls made it seem like I was somehow at fault for their mistakes and whenever I would try to tell them something they would try to talk over me which made me quite annoyed. Came here to look at Super Duty trucks. Had to get a few things organized before I could pull the trigger on one. After a couple months, I decided I'd try to find a truck they had in their inventory, and try to make a deal. It started there, and I figured we could end it there. Tried for days, but these guys aren't at all interested in selling trucks. They just want to tout how they've given back to the community, how Jack will stand behind every sale, inventory is low in the city, hail damaged trucks everywhere, Ford factory fire, steel tariffs coming, and excuse after excuse after excuse why they wouldn't make a deal. One phone call to Longmont Ford, one visit to Longmont Ford, and I drove home with a 2018 F350 Platinum for about the same price as what Sill-Terhar wouldn't sell me the lesser Lariat with options I didn't want, and the color I settled on. I gave them every opportunity to make a deal, and they refused. I came to them to buy a truck that had been sitting for a month, and they just weren't interested. Longmont Ford was HAPPY to have my business, THEIR DEALER FEE WAS $100 LESS, and they included 10 oil changes (that's like $1,500 worth on a diesel)! Honestly, it's really sad that the salesman at Sill-Terhar spent so much time with me, and his bosses screwed the sale. If I buy another Ford in the future, I won't waste my time going to Sill-Terhar even though I can see their building from my office window. I'll drive up to Longmont because it's clear they want to do business. read more

I bought and took my car here for a full service. After they serviced the car, I drove it 1 mile home, where it died in the parking spot, and wouldn't run or drive anymore. After 3 weeks of me being passed around to different people, and being redirected and completely ignored, I finally got them to agree to tow the car back to the lot to figure out the problem, but only after showing up multiple days in a row, in person. Today, a total of 4 weeks after my first call to Sill-Terhar about the problem, I went to pick up my car. I was met with Evan Robinson, the Ford Service Advisor, who handed me a surprise bill for a diagnostic/work that I didn't authorize, on a repair that was supposed to be completely covered by warranty. While asking for a breakdown of the bill and work, I was met with a childlike attitude and disrespectful demeanor, which he seemed to enjoy giving out. He condescendingly spoke to me as I was trying to make sense of the work that was done, without my consent. As I continued to ask for help or an explanation, or someone who could explain better, he started doing a patronizing wave at me and saying "Bye, bye!", "Bye, bye!" I've been nothing but professional and understanding with this dealership. This is how I've been treated after buying a car from them. Some of the most unpleasant and disrespectful people you could deal with. I just want to add that I've never left a bad review, and I've dealt with some truly awful businesses/people. This is my first. The only reason I was doing service here was so my friend could shop the lot for a new vehicle. She's watched all of this from the beginning, and is terrified to do business with them. This is how they treat the people who bought from them. Imagine if you didn't. Took my truck in for a recall for an hour long job due to the door latches not closing and doors just swinging open as I drive. Had to schedule appointment about a week out and drop it off at 7:30am from two hours away which dealer was informed. Wouldn't give me a vehicle to use to get to work but said they would have the truck done by the end of the day. Gave me a ride to get a car two hours later. Never even looked at the truck but kept saying it's in the "diagnostic phase". Next day same thing never looked at the truck and said they might not be able to get to it until the following week. Went to go pick the truck up and the service supervisor, Isaac who guaranteed me a ride back from my borrowed vehicle drop off point over the phone and in TEXT TWICE stopped answering my calls and texts half an hour before they closed and left me stranded two hours away from my home. Took me hours to get my truck back with no fix of the recall after leaving my vehicle with them for days. Still-terhar thank you very little, your service department has no communication and is complete trash. read more

The sales process was as expected. The service is an entirely different thing. I have owned this 2018 F-150 for less than a year I have had 3 recalls and 2 check engine light issues. I was told I could get a shuttle ride home and arrived on time for the service appointment. I was told the shuttle bus would be I er to take me home in a few min. After 45 min I ask again the service writer told me he will let him know in waiting and will be I er in a min. I said that's what you said 45 min ago. I asked for my truck back I'm going elsewhere for service. I suggest you do too. read more

I purchased my Ford Fusion in 2015. My defroster and heater stopped working. I contacted the service department to get my vehicle in. I was told I could take it could be taken in a week. Sounds reasonable considering they probably have a lot of vehicles to be serviced. The only problem with the weather being in the 30's for the week, NOT REASONABLE. Not sure why they Felt it was something that could wait. When I asked to speak to someone who was in charge. Greg Larson answered the call, he stated my warranty was no longer good. He understood it's going to be cold this week but could not help. I will say they can sell a car but to service it, they are the worse. No help full of excuses but kind enough to tell me I have two recalls on my vehicle but I would have to wait to get that in as well. I bought a new car that is falling apart. read more

At this point I would now give a zero. We are less then a thousand miles on the new engine if you can call it that. It is taking half a gal of antifreeze and 2 qt of oil. A second call to Ford and it is now going to another dealership to have the block number ran. They either used a junk yard engine or just never fixed the original engine. I am thinking the second. It is letting white smoke out when ever you merge on the highway and now it is doing it when taking off from a stop sign or light. It is stalling again. Several calls to the dealership have been unanswered. So depending on what info comes from the block number search will depend on what the attorney decides to do. read more

First off , my sales girl Brittany was great and supportive. The entire sales team did a good job,even offering some Italian food they had. The after support is horrible. Two days after delivery of my vehicle( I noticed water in the back cargo area. I called the service department( Aug 1) and was told, not very kindly it was two weeks before I could get it in. I declined and called Longmont Ford and was told by there service department they were two weeks out ,but since it was a brand new vehicle and they knew I wanted to drive it and water could lead to more problems in the vehicle they would squeeze me in. They fixed the problem and had it back to me the next day.! (Quality service). Fast forward to today (Aug17), I called to speak to someone in sales. No sales person answered and I went to voice mail. That has happened to me 3-4 times with Sill-Terhar Ford. Seems hard to get a live person initially. Called back and was asked by receptionist who I needed to speak to and about what,. Told her and was told that person is out sick, I requested sales manager and thanked her. Her response was click and forward to voice mail. I will not be shopping at Sill-Terhar Ford or Sill-Terhar Motors again. I would rate sales a 5 star and all other departments zero. read more
