I tried this place for the first time tonight. I ordered a half rack with fries and a salad To Go. I waited in the restaurant and picked up the meal right away. My commute home was about 15 minutes; I enjoyed the fries on the ride home. The fries were hot and tasty. The ribs were rubbery, tough, and greasy. Since I chose to go to this restaurant specifically for the ribs, I will not go back. read more

Worst meal in Naples... We ordered potato skins, and they did not tell us that they were out of skins until our entrées were ready. We all ordered brisket, and it was a TINY portion of about 40% fat and 60% meat. The amount of meat was nowhere NEAR enough be called an entrée. It was served in a puddle of grease. It honestly looked like something that would be served at McDonalds. We ordered corn bread for a side, and they told us they they were also out of that (they didn't bother to tell us until our food was at the table). We replaced the corn bread with mac & cheese, and it was flavorless. My family and I will never be back. read more

It has a nice atmosphere. The problem started with a 45 min wait. They were not busy at all. It was a Monday at 2:30pm. If the food was really good then the wait would have been fine. But the food was not that good, except the corn bread was awesome. I had pulled pork and it was so greasy I could not even taste the pork. I ordered the ribs and steak. Two sides included with the baked beans and brussels sprouts being a dollar extra each. Don't understand that. They did not ask as to how you would like the steak cooked and it came out overdone. Service at first was very good but after finishing my meal, I have not seen the server in 15 minutes. Walking into Off the Bone I expected your typical BBQ joint with simple decor and kind faces, and that is exactly what I got. To begin the evening we sat down in an almost empty restaurant and were greeted warmly. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. We deliberated and ultimately decided to settle on the quesadilla. When the group decided to get the quesadilla I silently resigned as I am not a huge quesadilla lover. Much to my surprise it was delicious, but did take a bit too long to come out. Now on to the main course. Now as a backstory we were all extremely fatigued and hungry after a long day so that may affect this review, but to keep things simple we were overall very pleased with the food. The cheesy grits were the only aspect of the meal below par. I ordered the ribs and while the meat did not literally fall off the bone it did come off with minimum resistance. They have a nice variety of sauces that are sure to satisfy lovers of all kinds of BBQ. As I sat in this simple restaurant I thought to myself about what kind of man I am, who j wanted to be, and what I am willing to do to get it. The nature of man is to be a tender one and to love and care for the world. Man is not a being but more a vessel for the soul. This vessel can be expanded upon everyday through the things we do in either a good or bad way. I believe off the bone expanded my vessel in a virtuous and tasty way. BBQ is a form of art and I believe off the bone is well ok it's way to becoming the next Van Goh. Overall I was very pleased with off the bone and would recommend it to a friend. read more

Such a disappointment.. we wanted to try out a new bbq place and this was our mistake. I DO NOT recommend this spot. The food was flavorless.. (brisket & pulled pork) the Mac and cheese was dry and had NO cheese sauce on it. We also got two orders of this and they combined the Mac and cheese into one container rather than two sides of it. The fries were plain too and we ordered and extra side of toast that we didn't receive.. I normally don't leave bad reviews but I was really upset knowing I had wasted more than $40 on a dinner that we literally didn't even eat. Just had best burger in Naples served to me by Sierra. It's the charred taste that makes it. No ketchup had a barbecue sauce with it.Fries were great and so were smoked wings (get the Spicy Ranch Rub). I had the same wings last week but along with ribs. It's about time that this north side of Naples has this kind of option. Good TV set up if you like sports. read more

The service is terrible. It be would be different if it were busy but even when there's barely anyone there it's the same level of service. The manager says the same thing every time.. that staff didn't come in etc etc but it's not slammed and we still can't get anyone to our table. It's sad because the food is pretty good. Sadly, will not be visiting this establishment again. My parents came to visit last week and we decided to go. My husband and I had gone once before during the day and liked it. Since it was a Friday night I called ahead to see if there was a long wait to be seated and I was told there was no wait. When we got there about 15 minutes later, we were told the wait was 30 minutes. Ok fine, we decided to wait. No big deal. Then the hostess seated us in the corner outside past where the bar window was and though it was chilly, we were like ok great! We sat there for 45 minutes with no one even taking a drink order or even bringing place settings or menus. We then watched as a couple that was seated after us got drinks and menus. At that point. My husband got the attention of a waitress as she finished serving the table next to us and asked her to make sure someone knew we were sitting there bc no one has even come over yet. She proceeded to state it wasn't her table but she'd let someone know, and rolled her eyes as she walked away. Still no one came. Finally, a young man came over to take a drink order. He did not know anything about the drink or beer menu. Ok no problem. He seemed timid and I think it was his first day, and was overwhelmed, poor kid. We should have gotten up and left at that point but still waited. Finally, the manager came over and took our order. Before he did he stated that he was sorry for the wait but we should understand that there was a half hour service wait after being seated??? What?? That was never stated to us prior, and we were there for almost an hour watching everyone else get served - even people seated after us. We ordered and got our food and then a lovely waitress with customer service skills came over to take care of us who I hope got the tip we left bc no one else deserved it. P.S we were freezing as we were in the corner where they had no heat lamps. All of the other tables had heat lamps. I rarely write reviews but I hope this makes them work harder at customer service. I am very patient and would have been fine if they just took a drink order and told us it was going to be while. Saw a review of this new place in Florida Weekly so we tried it. We got there around 5:15 and were seated outside immediately. We placed our food order around 5:30 and did not receive our food until 7:30! We were ready to walk out when the food arrived. We would have still walked out except we were starved by then. We had a party of 9 people and one of the items was a Salmon entree that came with only a tiny piece of salmon about 1 inch square. The server immediately took the item back! The final insult was that we had to wait 20 minutes just to pay our bill! Needless to say, we will NEVER go back to this place. read more

My husband & I had lunch there today. The food was amazing! I had the brisket sandwich, which came on lovely soft bread. The brisket was so tender and flavorful that it almost melted in my mouth. I don't know how they made the fries, but they were amazing, sliced rather than steak fries and a little puffy like sopapillas. I asked for and got a sweet barbecue sauce, which was quite good. My husband had pulled pork, potato salad, and corn on the cob, all of which he thoroughly enjoyed. We finished the meal by splitting the bread pudding. I wish I had been served a spoon rather than a fork, but I managed to get all the sauce by swiping each bite of pudding through it. Absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. I liked the ambiance with the large decorated blackboard along the side. We didn't care for the music, but I'm sure other people liked it. My only real complaint was the seating. The chairs are horrible. The booths are a lot better, but the back as well as the seat could have been padded. Much as we enjoyed the food, we would not eat there if there isn't a booth available. We ordered The Social Distancing Success from OTB on Logzn Blvd. which was a full rack of ribs, 1/2 lb of pulled pork and 2 sides. We picked it up in 15 minutes as we were told, and home in 5 minutes since we live right in the next community. The ribs were lukewarm, tough, fatty and just tasteless; the pulled pork dry and cold; the Mac and cheese and potato salad flavorless. Sadly, the onion buns were probably the best thing. This $54.95 meal is going to the dogs literally!!! because I'm feeding it to my pets. It might not even be edible for them. NEVER GOING BACK. read more

I was in the mood for some brisket and this was near my parent's condo. Service was very good, and I like the concept of build your own platter. They even had some local craft beer options for the beer snob in me. I am a brisket snob, and the brisket was passable. It was not dry, which is good. Could have used a little more smoke, and I got a lot of fatty pieces. Beans are excellent, but what is with the/ tiny shot glass serving size? We all laughed and my dad said "that's all you get?" Beans have a low food cost, it would be nice to get a better size serving. Between the small serving of beans and fatty pieces of brisket, I left still hungry. But overall, a decent place and I would return next time I am visiting. I would just try something else. read more

I stopped out of curiosity looked at the menu. I asked the bartender about take out. She gave a very responsible answer. At this time she said try you choices and if was okay she would put it in a Togo box. I tried the ribs and they were excellent literally ready to fall off the bone. I'm originally from Texas and can tell you that this BBQ is the furthest from good bbq than it can be. I understand the hiccups with service as it being brand new, but the quality of food was horrible. I ordered ribs - which were very tough and rubbery.. and the sausage, which was poor as well. As for the sides, they were out of bbq beans, but I had the cheesy grits and french fries... both were good, especially the cheesy grits - but the fact that they came in a plastic side cup that you usually put ketchup in was not good. My least favorite part of it all was the bbq sauce.. I have had better from Kraft bottled sauces then what they had. No onions, pickles, jalapeños for toppers... I was so excited about this place, but severely disappointed... on top of it all, it's definitely got the Naples markup and is way to expensive for BBQ - even if it were good, which it's not. read more

What a shame- we waited for months for this place and it's a major letdown. I've given it two chances but they just aren't on their game. Dry BBQ amd mistakes at every turn. Our food came out in to go containers and 10 minutes later they realized we were the only 2 in the restaurant they quickly plated it- 5 mins later. Cold fries and dry BBQ and just for giggles the bbq sauce bottle didn't work! How is that even possible! The bartender knew I was upset and later asked if the GM came by- sadly he or she hadn't. This spot is not what my partner and I was expecting. The Mac and cheese was dry. The server basically forgot about us and when our food was brought out we had no utensils to eat it with. They were not busy just inconsiderate. We were not on a time crunch but the server definitely took him time to one over and take our order.
