Why am I making a fuss about cornbread? Because it's the details that make a restaurant great. Next came the chicken wings in Alabama White Sauce. I'm now a convert. Sure, I've had it a few times, but this version was eye-opening! Perfectly smoked, then fried chicken wings slathered in this red-sauce alternative was an epiphany for me. I don't think I'll ever look at the humble chicken wing the same way again. I am spoiled for life! Goodbye Buffalo, hello Decatur (where the sauce reputedly originated). Yeah, that good and worth traveling for. The meats? What you want from a BBQ joint.
