By far the BEST bbq in the area! Hands down! I will definitely be frequenting this location more often

I'm here on a normal Tuesday at 1:30p--it's closed! Was looking forward to it. Another time... (Will try calling ahead of time before visiting.) Either Yelp & Google have the hours wrong, or this place was unexpectedly closed today.

    Parking Lot BBQ..... Delicious......

BBQ Sandwich on the go. Pulled Pork sandwich Meal or Rib Meal with 2 sides and a drink. Great Stop for a quick bite to eat. Sides include Baked Beans (Which have a little kick to them), a delicious Mac & Cheese or some fresh cornbread. Great Sandwich, Ribs are next on my list to try. Sandwich even includes a little Cole slaw to put on it. Mmmmm, Southern Style.... As they say "Remember To Embrace Your Carnivore", Give it a try and from time to time they have a few bonus special items like pulled pork stuffed potatoes and chicken quesadillas. Hope this little trailer hangs around for awhile......

    Amazing pulled pork sandwich!

If you like meaty, dry rub pork ribs, this is a great find. We've taken out twice, a rack of ribs only. Very satisfying.

I wish I had gotten to try more of the menu, but I can definitely vouch for the pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, and cole slaw.

The folks that serve from the truck are wonderful. The owner Matt is an absolute king of cuisine and also of customer care and service. Congratulations to him and his wife on his baby who was born last night. This little one has now extended his children to four little boys. Matt showed up for just a few minutes to open the food truck today. I caught him just in time to remind him of how good his food is, and to wish him continued success with the food truck and his growing family. I love Sauced Food Truck and think everyone should go out of their way to give it a try!!!

The lumpia is addicting and builds up in flavor. I think my only problem was the rice consistency, it was a bit mushy but the adobo sauce masked it mostly. The service was immaculate, despite being at an extremely busy medieval fair, I did not have to wait that long at all after ordering. As for ambiance, it doesn't really apply since it's a truck but the venue was fun. I do think the price for your lumpia is a bit much. 8 dollars for 3 is steep. All that said I still highly recommend this truck

Then I happened to be channel surfing and caught Cafe Kai featured on KING5 Evening on 1/13/26. The Homie and I made sure to stop by after driving around from I-5 South/Hwy 16 and across the Manette Bridge on 1/15/26 to Cafe Kai's new, bigger location. No more drive through window and tiny retail spot. Bremerton's Manette neighborhood has become a destination detour with Saboteur Bakery, Vim & Vigor, and now Cafe Kai! Their new location is located at the corner of 11th and Perry with adjacent street parking. Upon entering, bright interior and sleek, streamlined design. Same welcoming vibe. That day we've been having a progressive eating mindset on our drive from Shoreline, Seattle, Tukwila, and now Bremerton. We had better restraint and bought only two Teriyaki Spam and one Hawaiian Hot Dog musubis, plus a bag of Li Hing gummies. Their menu features several musubis and refreshing beverages. I also enjoyed my brief convo with one of the owners, Jamie Cancel. There's something really welcoming when meeting indie business owners whether from Oahu, Kauai, Maui, the Big Island or on the mainland. It's that genuine sense of ohana or family I've consistently experienced. Musubis were nicely wrapped and piping hot. That day it was sunny and breezy leaving Cafe Kai with the goods. Now if it had been a bit warmer, with sand & surf nearby, wearing Tshirt, shorts, and slippahs with two fisted musubis from Foodland or Pukalani Superette, sigh as I digress in a brief daydream. Delicious ono grindz! Congratulations on the new location and celebrating their ten year milestone this coming summer! Mahalo nui loa!
