    Calamari with peppers
    Erica S.

This was our second visit here. The early evening view is peaceful and beautiful with the boats in the background. We sat on the patio and ordered fried calamari and cocktails. I didn't enjoy the peppers that covered the calamari and could've done without them but the sauce was yummy! Our server was friendly and attentive. On this night, they had a DJ which handed out musical bingo cards. I think that's a really unique way to engage the crowd. He was also from Texas, like myself. We didn't stay long after our appetizer was done but it had the feel of an enjoyable evening overlooking the water and sunset.

This was our first visit. It was a beautiful sunny day - in the low 80's. We arrived about 12:30 pm - there were a lot of folks there. We were able to get a seat right away - but it was in the full sun. Fortunately, after 15 or 20 minutes a table with an umbrella opened up and the hostess moved us. We ended up in the shade with a view overlooking the marina. Nice. The service was leisurely - the entire lunch took almost 1.5 hours - very pleasant. Staff very nice. I had the pulled pork platter and my wife had the hamburger platter. Both were standard bar fare. The only comment is that both the fries and the onion rings had been sitting for a while before being served. Lunch with tip and no alcoholic beverage was about $50.00. Go for the destination - not the food.

Boston style Lobster roll (with butter) and smashed onions.

Go for the view and ambience dockside eyeing boats, the marina, and an adorable quaint lighthouse! Casual with outdoor seating, this place also boasts live music. Props too for an ice cream window off the main restaurant. I'd say the menu is small but it's just that kind of "crab shack eating" that is relaxed and perfect for a gorgeous night. I got the Lobster roll (with butter, not a mayo fan) and smashed onions on the side. I'd have much preferred onion rings as these were like soggy limp noodles/strings with no bite to them. That being said, the roll was a TON of buttery sweet lobster, LOADED. My husband dove right into his fried fish platter which as enormous but the standout was the fried scallops, tender not rubbery, succulent, melt in your mouth with the great fried bite. For a kickback date night or family outing, give it a try. My son raved about the cheese quesadilla and fries. Little fun side note, my husband loved that they put a splash of pineapple juice in his margarita!

Great location, cold beer, wait staff were on their game. Chowder thick and creamy, calamari, i believe was frozen and not so good

I went to Off the Hook once and knew I'd be back. It's a really cool atmosphere, all outdoor seating on the water in Fairhaven, overlooking boats. There's live music and bingo. Nice crowd and the staff was friendly. The food and drinks tasted great.

The staff was rude, the drinks were undrinkable. Never going back. To bad because it's in a nice spot.

Great fish and chips. Their mudslides are fantastic. A great (but busy) place to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon.

I've only been here a handful of times, and the food is always good. Sadly, I haven't always been great about taking photos. One thing that has been disappointing is the fact that, if it has kids, it wouldn't let them to put something like fish and chips on it. No. Paying homage to the seafaring town that the restaurant resides in, and the fact that the restaurant does host a massive amount of seafood for the adults, offering some smaller portion for the kiddos would be nice. The only way around it was ordering shrimp at $4 each and sharing some of our sides in order to make an entrée for our son. I know this is a minor gripe but it's kind of unfortunate for a place like Cisco. It won't stop us from coming. It's just now we know how to make it work. (And maybe now other people reading this will also know.) Can't wait to try the outdoor seating when the weather is nicer it does look pretty awesome. For some reason, we always gone when it's too cold to enjoy.

They close at 8 so they said we couldn't eat in at the picnic like tables they have and we needed to take it to go. Bummer but ok. Waited a while and then brought the food back home. I got the fried scallops that came with thick fries and coleslaw. I liked my scallops ok but those fries were gross. Probably because they don't do well for take home. Coleslaw was good. My father got the fried seafood plate and thought it was way overly breaded. Probably won't return.

I can easily get two big meals out of the small fish and chips because the portions are insane. The tartar sauce is hands down the best around. I always buy extra when we stop in and I'd happily beg for the recipe. This visit we also tried the clam cakes and chowder. The clam cakes were huge and clearly made with fresh clams. They were a little gritty this time, but not enough for me to deduct any stars. The chowder was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. Some of the best I've had in a long time. I'm never disappointed when I come here and it's always my go-to spot for fried seafood. Everything tastes fresh, even the oil. Nothing has that old, overused fryer taste.
