The whole place has that genuine hometown vibe that's getting harder to find, plus consistently great live music (Sundays especially). It's on the smaller side, but they somehow pack the place without sacrificing service, which says a lot. When the weather warms up, they open up a large alley next to the pub for live music--and that's where this place really shines. On a crisp fall day? Forget about it... that's exactly where I want to be. Good food, good people, good music--what more do you need? Enjoy the good times ahead.

Great beer selection on tap from ipas to ciders to whatever mixed drink you are looking for. We were taken care of right away by the bartender and later on another. The mozz sticks were great, nice cheese pull, the Reuben was the clear winner, not too salty at all, good flavor. The brisket was a little dry for the cheesesteak, and the burger was undercooked (asked for medium well got more of a medium rare), the bun also didn't hold up that great, but the fries were excellent good salt levels crisp and crunch. Would definitely come back for a Bev and a bite!

The vibe is cool, and they serve up some solid food alongside a great craft beer flight. The Food: Pan Seared NBMA Scallops ($24): Served with linguica, summer corn succotash, and harissa aioli. This appetizer was very fresh and exceptionally good. Beet Salad ($15): Whipped goat cheese, roasted beets, blood orange, toasted pistachios, pickled red onion, arugula, EVOO, and balsamic glaze. My wife loved this salad--it was packed with fresh flavors and textures. Lobster Truffle Grilled Cheese ($32): Made with Gruyère cheese, fresh-picked lobster meat, truffle oil, and toasted sourdough. While it tasted good, the truffle flavor was very light, and there wasn't as much lobster as I would expect for a $32 price tag. Ultimately, it was good, but not really worth the price. The Drinks: We also grabbed a four-beer flight, which came on a fun whale-tail paddle with a handy menu card: 1. Raz Sour 2. Blueberry Ale 3. Capsized IPA 4. Colonial Ale Overall, a fun spot with great starters and a cool flight setup. I'd definitely go back for the scallops and drinks, though I might skip the lobster grilled cheese next time.

Highly recommend South Coast instead they're great customer service!…read more We have been coming here for many years visiting on vacations to see my dad who has a home here for 20 years and never had an issue. My son was in this store and carried things for grandpa last summer with NO ISSUE. We travelled 3000 miles and arrived today and stopped in. We brought our kids in and the tasting guy was so nice! However the store manager (I'm assuming that's what he was as he was overdressed in a suit) followed my young daughters around eyeing them making them uncomfortable. At one point he told them to not touch anything and they told him they'd not touched anything! The man in the suit was also eyeing another customer across the store and after staring him down aggressively asked him what he needed as well. Then he approached me and I said no we've been many times but thank you nicely. I had our sons grab a couple heavy items and put them in my cart. We grabbed a couple other smaller things. I walked up and another man didn't even greet me as I began loading the cart. He abruptly said I need your ID! I finished unloading and he repeated himself and I said yes I heard you I will get it. They then demanded everyone's ID's. I said these are our children. Do they need to step outside or something? The manager became very hostile and rude. He said he would not sell to us because my son had one of the heavy cases in the cart and he did not have his ID with him. I told the manager I had triple arm surgery and my husband also cannot lift heavy things )he had carpel tunnel surgery recently) so we had asked him to pick it up for us. I said if that was an issue, do we need to leave and then come back or what to do? The manager refused to sell to us and I said at what point are we able to buy? Is this like an indefinite thing or something? He pretty much said not at all. A lot of our friends are law-enforcement at home in our state and I said well if I was to ask the police or if I were to contact the Massachusetts liquor commission, what would they tell me? Then he finally admitted I could come back the next day at that point which obviously we will not be doing. We went to South Coast and had no issue there at all or hassling. I do not usually leave poor reviews but this entire experience was embarrassing and I'd like to note it for future customers. I have a serving license at home and this was over the top and power trip feeling. For reference my husband and I are almost 50 it was very evident we were of age.

I've only been here a handful of times, and the food is always good. Sadly, I haven't always been great about taking photos. One thing that has been disappointing is the fact that, if it has kids, it wouldn't let them to put something like fish and chips on it. No. Paying homage to the seafaring town that the restaurant resides in, and the fact that the restaurant does host a massive amount of seafood for the adults, offering some smaller portion for the kiddos would be nice. The only way around it was ordering shrimp at $4 each and sharing some of our sides in order to make an entrée for our son. I know this is a minor gripe but it's kind of unfortunate for a place like Cisco. It won't stop us from coming. It's just now we know how to make it work. (And maybe now other people reading this will also know.) Can't wait to try the outdoor seating when the weather is nicer it does look pretty awesome. For some reason, we always gone when it's too cold to enjoy.
