Island Rice Bowl with Jamaican Jerk Shrimp and the fish fry.

This food is so good! Order. Get a drink and relax on the shores of Lake Erie. My hubby is a fisherman and he said outside of what he cooks...this is the next best thing!

Hill crap this place Is good. Amazing clean little place near the water. Staff was awesome, and food was fantastic. I will say the calamari was a little meh compared to what I've had before, but try it yourself. Everything else we got was perfect in every way.

    Mermaid Water

This boardwalk area is awesome with a ton of different food and drink options & a gorgeous walk on the pier. We ate at Off The Hook, and it was perfect for fried seafood and fun lake drinks. I ordered the Island Salad with coconut shrimp and the Mermaid Water. It was absolutely delicious! I ordered the half, which was the perfect size! The drinks were okay but very fun. There's a pub right nearby and 64 on the Rocks that also have good drinks. I would definitely recommend coming here on a nice day! A lot of the seating is covered but it is all outside. It's best to go when the weather is nice.

A new favorite go to! This might be "Tiny" in size but don't be fooled...Kelly's food is truly off the hook! When you overhear this actually tastes like coconut from another diner and it makes you smile cause you were thinking the same thing! Relaxed atmosphere with good food on the pier in Dunkirk.

    Island Bowl

Stopped on a road trip to Maine. 10/10 recommend. Everything we ordered to the table, Garlic Parm sandwich, Baja Fish tacos, the burrito, and island bowl was unreal. Also just recommend the boardwalk in general. Such a cute location.

Great local fare! Nice bartender in a pretty location. We loved the fish tacos-- drinks and food were delicious and affordable.

Stormin' Crab offers their blue crabs one of two ways: Either added as a side to any boil (topped with your favorite seasonings), or served as a fried crab basket. The oyster appetizer (sold as six or twelve) can be raw or grilled. I adore them raw, and these are Bluepoints! They were plump, glistening, and had a great sweet and briney flavor. My husband's gumbo was thick with rice and andouille sausage, with baby shrimp. It also had a powerful black pepper kick. Very tasty! The boil arrived on a stainless steel platter in a large plastic bag, ballooned out with steam. We had chosen the butter, medium spicy. I thought the saltiness overpowered the flavor of the seafood, but your mileage may vary. Combo C had so much food we took a third of it home! We really enjoyed our meal here!

Update: subtracting 1 star because my kid got sick from the oily food. Never again…read more The staff was so nice and the facility is very clean however we just didn't care for the food itself. We ordered the cajun mix for crawfish and snow crab and garlic butter snow crab. All the boils are doused full of butter flavored oil (not real butter) which didn't allow for any flavor to reach your tongue or the meat. I may be spoiled with real Louisiana and Texas crawfish and seafood boils but the oil was so unpleasant. The crawfish was oily, flavorless, and tasted dirty. The crab was probably presalted and just reheated in the boil. I asked for some cajun seasoning and salt to sprinkle on top but there was just too much oil. I am disappointed with this type of boil and hope I can find a more traditional type with no oil somewhere in Buffalo.

I ordered their perch tacos. The servers were able to tell me that they didn't have perch but they used cod instead, which was fine. The flavors were good, just missing some citrus so I took a lemon wedge from my water and squeeze some lemon on my tacos and it tasted better. Overall, good service and restaurant in Norfolk County by Turkey Point Beach.

Business is not easy but I think this lack of interest just shows how much they care about their customers. We spend the day in Turkey Point and we were starving for some good food. There are many restaurants to choose from but we decided to try the sandbar. The Waitress recommended fish and chips as she said it was amazing.... so I ordered 2 orders. Unfortunately, the batter was rock hard and the fish was so thin and was incredibly dry. For the money it was Absolute garbage. Who ever created the batter doesn't know what light crispy fish tastes like. We were so disappointed as we did want to like this restaurant. The waitress told me we should try the burgers and wings on Wednesday and Thursday but if she thinks the fish is good - then it's a definite no.

My husband enjoyed the Violet French 75 in particular. The rosé margarita is beautiful and tasty, but I especially enjoyed the amaretto sour. Wish I saved room for the chocolatini. I had the lobster ravioli in a champagne lemon sauce for an appetizer. It's one giant ravioli and so good. It exceeded expectation, as did the lobster mac 'n cheese. It had a creamy beer cheese sauce, but I think I also tasted some truffle, too. I couldn't decide between the two dishes, but the flavors were distinct. My husband had the BBQ pork belly ends for an appetizer, and the delmonico steak with garlic herb mashed potatoes and carrots. He also raved over everything he ate. Great complimentary bread, too. We sat in a cozy booth with a nice view of Lake Erie, but the food and drinks were definitely the stars of the show.
