Service was excellent drinks were great. the food was sub par for the price unfortunately as this…read moreis a beautiful restaurant. the $50 steak dinner was a steak that should have been seared and served with a steak knife and the vegetables were under cooked the pasta was missing flavor, they were completely out of grilled asparagus and the menu is so small that was extremely disappointing that there was not a proper plan for amounts of food needed ( our reservation was early in the evening . The Char was great but the navy bean veggies underneath were so salty they were not edible. Hopefully these are things that can be improved. Probably won't return for the food.

I consider myself a "obsessed foodie " so I was pleased when Cory the chef came out of the kitchen and walked around the dining room. We were having a cocktail at the bar so we waved him over to ask what he recommended . I took his advice and ordered the scallops. They were cooked perfectly. Very tender and paired really well with the roasted corn and bacon. The whipped feta was very cold, which was interesting, but the flavor was tangy so it offset the richness of the bacon and scallops. The beef tenderloin was delicious cooked perfect medium rare. The broccolini was a little tough and the blue cheese sauce could have been a little thicker. It was kind of runny. I will be back to try more items on the menu. Excited the restaurant is open again.

In the dining area there's both seating inside as well as on the outside deck which had live music playing when we visited. The menu here changes all the time it seems as they source from local farmers and you can really taste the freshness in their meals. We got the pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork nachos with spinach artichoke dip, fried cheese curds, and the Swedish meatballs. All were excellent. A surprising standout for me was the homemade honey mustard that had great depth of flavor and paired really nicely with the cheese curds. They also have very affordable NA drinks as well as local pops with unique flavors like butterscotch root beer. The real draw of this place is their whole pay what you can concept which allows anyone of any budget to enjoy this place. With the three entrees, appetizer, and 3 drinks we decided to pay about $70 for 4 people to encompass both taxes and gratuity.

It was easy to get a reservation and on the day, we were greeted and seated promptly! The service was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. For starters, we had the lobster bisque and steak tartare. I will admit I was a little apprehensive when ordering the bisque but I'm glad I did! It did everything I needed it to. It was perfectly creamy and tasty, as well as comforting! The tartare was pretty good but we weren't fans of the EXTREMELY crisp "bread" pairing. The main dish was the Seafood Perlou which was almost perfect (the mussels felt off). The cocktails were quite good as well! There were some curious pairings and mixtures on there but they worked very well! Overall, this was a good experience. It seems like a good place for a first date, or a business dinner, or even a more casual outing with friends! It was good without trying too hard, if that makes sense.

We mostly came for drinks and appetizers but I really have to come back for all the incredible food choices they have on the menu!! They have a cute area to take some photos on a couch. It is a dark place but I really enjoy the atmosphere. Our server was so attentive and helped make our visit a fantastic experience.
