Goat in the Headlights
Ashley M.

I'm not sure why it took us so long to go here! So if you've been hesitating, this is your sign to go get a killer waffle! The goat cheese, avocado, and egg waffle was soo savory, creamy, and delicious. A fun alternative to breakfast bagels!

Super friendly staff, the waffles were fresh and delicious. We got seated right away and the food came out 5 minutes later.

Tiramisu waffle

Overall not impressed. They have savory waffles, in between and sweet. Every the savory items are on a sweet waffle which is very odd. I had the goat in the headlights and it wasn't great. Coffee is tasty, side of bacon good. Service nice. My friends had the tiramisu waffle which he said was way too sweet. The authentic was good and simple. Overall wouldn't come here again.

Menu 10/2019

I love waffles (it's in my top 5 foods) so whenever we go anywhere on vacation, waffles are always one of my top searches. Off the waffle showed up on my yelp search and after checking out the menu, I was like yup, we going here. There were things I knew all 3 of us were gonna love. It was pretty busy when we got here on Sunday around 10 but I guess people sleep in and eat breakfast later. We are actually early eaters but this place was on the way to where we were going so 10ish just happened to be the time we ended up here. We got a table outside since inside was full but luckily it wasn't too cold out. My son loves Nutella (and so does my husband) so we got the wiffle for him which was Nutella and bananas. I ordered the Brie prepared which was had pears, Brie cheese, and onion jams with maple balsamic drizzled over it. One of the workers suggested the goat in headlights so my husband ordered that. We shared all the waffles... let me take that back. My husband and I shared but my son ate his wiffle all by himself. We did sneak a bite tho and it was yummy. I wasn't a fan of the chèvre cheese on my husbands waffle but I'm not the biggest soft cheese fan. The waffle itself was great alone and I'm wondering if maybe I should get a plain one next time we go here. On second thought I'll probably get one of the signature waffles and then a plain one on the side. Can't ever have too many waffles!

Savory and plain with strawberries and syrup.

Delicious! Friendly and fast service. I ordered the savory and my sister had a plain with strawberry and Vermont syrup and we both cleaned our plates. All of the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. it doesn't look like much from the outside but we spotted it from the side of the road and especially liked the picnic tables on the side to be able to sit outside. We were super happy with our stop.

This place was DELICIOUS!! Good food and good portion. We got: Waffle topped with pear, carmelized onions, melted brie cheese with maple balsamic reduction with a side of braised pork belly. Waffle with chevre, avocado, two sunnyside up eggs, two bacon strips and real Vermont maple syrup Would definitely come here again!

Goat cheese avocado .. hid brown avocado under the eggs .. no thx

Was excited to try this place with my kid on his birthday .. had 5 people and all liked there food . I got the goat cheese and avocado item on the menu . Most of it was good but I cannot excuse hiding gross brown/black avocado under the eggs I would have paid more for actually good avocado . The pics I posted looked pretty good but I didn't even feel like posting the gross middle of my half good breakfast because it just made me sad . Who does this nonsense ? Save your pennies but I will save money by not coming here again . Shame because I liked about half my breakfast .

The orange juice is so amazing, fresh squeezed and you can TELL!

Alright, so this place is good, but don't get my stars wrong up there.. maybe Pinterest, blogs and such hyped this place up just a bit too much! Xx Upon walking up to this place I was excited, this was on a road trip bucket list.. and we were finally going!! It was a Tuesday morning around 12pm and not very busy- about half the restaurant was taken up. We were all excited to order so we sat at a table and looked over the menu. I saw they had orange juice that was freshly squeezed and it was the best part of this experience. (Pictures attached) It came within 30 minutes and looked great but wasn't our full order- it came out half and half about 5 min apart and our orange juices came AFTER our food LOL. My husband ordered and actually paid for two extra syrup glasses (1$e) that didn't come and my meal didn't even come with one for a 10.50$ waffle. Ugh. So we enjoyed our meals- I will say the waffle was good but it does seem pre maid and refrigerated beforehand. The outside wasn't as expected, I was expecting a sugary light but crispy crust as described.. it was almost too soft on the outside and grainy inside. My children's omelet egg wasn't cooked fully and we normally don't eat undercooked eggs from a establishment when traveling. I was disappointed. My husband and sister in law liked theirs though. A cool thing is they have waffles for purchase to take home right in the front! They're 15$ for 6 plain waffles. (I wouldn't pay that, but I am a decent cook). After finishing our meals we were getting ready to go, we had paid! We paid good money for breakfast! We were told we bus our own tables. After already tipping our 20% I was a little ticked off to be honest. I have paid way less for a meal and received better service. I will not return when visiting our family in Springfield OR. Sorry y'all! Stick in your PJs at home and hang out!

Goat in the headlights! Goat cheese, over easy egg, avocado and paprika with basil chiffanade on top. Amazing flavor burst!

Was craving a good waffle. Stopped in here to kick off Spring Break. I had the "Goat in the headlights". Nothing short of spectacular flavors with a perfectly cooked waffle. I had my egg over easy instead of the sunny side smiling. It had goat cheese and a special paprika blend with basil chiffonade on the top. Wow! I practically inhaled that goat. I highly recommend Off the Waffle. You can have a sweet, savory or somewhere in between off their menu. Unique and definitely makes you crave more. The service is always superb.

The self-fulfilling prophecy and strawberries and cream with nutella

The service was amazing! Such a kind server taking care of everyone. The food is such a classic and delicious. So glad they are open again. Made my morning.

New to town, asked a coworker what are some must-have restaurants this place was near the top of his list! Was not disappointed! I came in late on Sunday morning atmosphere is so simple and cute, staff is very friendly and respectful that I was not feeling too social. Menu is very straightforward, I went for the local favorite the "Goat in Headlights". (liège waffle topped with goat cheese, avo, 2 eggs, spices, and honey) I got my self serve water and coffee (love) and sat in the corner booth, by the time I could open my book and finish one page my food was out hot & gorgeous! Recommend this dish and dining experience 10$ well spent thank you!

Waffle was expensive and tiny as hell. Also took a really long time when we were the only ones there. Don't recommend

They literally suck. Cold food. Long wait, no waitresses. Forget orders, forgets what you add and charges more.

They probably didn't believe us, but we are people of our word (when it comes to food, anyway). I was vascillating between the croissant and the palmier. I agonized over getting the croissant or the palmier. I couldn't get both because I was too full from our Cuban lunch. "Save one for later", one might say. To that I say, "Pshaw". My SO put me out of my self imposed misery by ordering a croissant, which afforded me the opportunity to get the palmier. Palmiers are one of my favorite pastries/cookies (which one is it?). My SO once bought me a half burnt palmier and I quickly ate it without one compaint. I never buy those containers of mini palmiers at Costco because they would be gone very quickly and I would feel very guilty. I know my palmiers. Croissants, on the other hand, are how I judge a bakery, if they happen to make croissants. I don't think I'm super snobby, but I know a good croissant when I eat one (good for me, anyway). Noisette's croissant had buttery flaky layers on the outside with a moist and tender inside. This was as awesome as a croissant gets. The palmier was different from any other I've had. It was almost one inch thick (which is about twice as thick as your standard bakery palmier). The innermost layers were slightly tender, sort of like the inside of a croissant, but not quite. What a wonderful and new experience in eating my beloved palmier. Thank you Noisette's. Oh yeah, all the other pastries and food looked pretty darn good too, haha. Please keep this place in business for the next time we're back in Eugene.
