Side note: they garlic bread is super garlicky which I like but if you are not into garlic I do not recommend it. I'm a big fan of offerdahls in Weston. I love the Johnnys House salad. I have had both the large portion and small portion. The small is good when you aren't too hungry but definitely want to eat something. The large is comfortably filling when you're ready to munch on a big a salad. I usually do not add any protein - I'll get the salad as is. Although recently I did get extra chickpeas instead of feta cheese and I enjoyed that. Also I tried the salmon on top of the salad as a protein once, and that was yummy. Im also a big fan of the breadstick, it's a nice added touch. Friendly staff too. Thank you guys/girls! read more

Looking for a lite lunch in Weston late one afternoon, and Yelp came up with this place. A small quick serve cafe, part f a six store mini-chain. Nice music playing in the background too. I had their breakfast salad, at least that's what I think it was called. When I went to their website, I could not locate the item on the menu. Whatever it was called, it was an arugula salad, with just the right amount of dressing, accompanied by two turkey sausage patties and two (properly cooked) hard boiled eggs It really hit the spot, tasty, light and not too filling. My wife had one of their salad plates. It was nice that you could have a full order, or a Hal's order. She enjoyed her half-sized Greek salad as well. read more

I order lunch from here very often and I do like to switch it up so I've tried several items and EVERYTHING is always amazing! I actually can't get over how good their chicken always is. Meh. Well at least meh to my chicken/steak teriyaki bowl. My poppy seed bagel was good. The best thing about my bowl, was that I at least felt healthy eating it (soon offset by devouring a large bagel with cream cheese), so ultimately I was left between a balance between feeling healthy and eating something tasty; hence the 3 stars. The chicken sort of had a fishy taste to it, and the steak was nothing to write home about. This served on a bed of brown rice and some veggies, combined for quite an underwhelming meal. With the other good reviews, it is entirely possible I just ordered poorly, and need to try this place again. 2 side notes: 1) Adding extra meat (steak) was an extra $5.59 and my vitamin water wad $2.99. This turned a relatively fairly priced lunch into an expensive 20 bean endeavour. 2) They have these red velvet cookies that I really want to eat, but need to lose weight, so I didn't, so someone please tell me how they taste so I can at least enjoy an imaginary experience about them. **Update: Went in and bought a velvet cookie and a chocolate chip cookie (for research purposes) 1 minute after writing this review. Such a fan. Every time I travel to the Broward county area, I try and make a stop at Offerdahl's! This particular location offers a small indoor and patio area of seating. The food options are reminiscent of a Panera- bagels, sandwiches, salads and some grain bowls, amongst other things. This trip, I ordered a salmon grain bowl which tasted fresh and delicious! The service is always good, with food brought to you at your table promptly, with great hospitality. It can get a bit crowded during lunch hours, but it is always worth a visit! read more

Have you ever had a BLT? Freaking delicious, right?! Well, I might of had the saddest of BLTs at Offerdahl's recently. One small leaf of lettuce, half a tomato slice and one piece of bacon. I wish I had taken a photo - it was literally the saddest sandwich I have ever seen. It was on french bread. I bit into it and that bite meant a quarter of it was already gone. The bacon was delicious. It was very unique - not sure what kind of bacon it was but it was sweetish. One more bite - half of it was gone. I had the other half left. I stretched that one into 3 bites...then it was gone. The sandwich came with potato chips - I devoured those. The wife got another sandwich and it was stacked - but it wasn't for me. The BLT usually comes with salmon - and I'm sure that makes it more substantial, but man...could you throw some more lettuce in there at least? Maybe some more bacon? Can you make this into a real sandwich? The bacon was amazing - which is why the 2 stars. Plus, the gentlemen at the counter was super nice (the woman chef on the other hand was pretty rude.) There were a few open tables but almost all of them were filthy. Towards the end of our snack - I mean meal.. it seems that they burned something in the kitchen. This is my biggest pet peeve with open kitchens - the place filled with smoke and my shirt reeked of smoke. I know, it happens - but invest in the proper ventalation/don't burn something as it can really ruin the experience. Won't be rushing back unfortunatly. read more

After spending several hours at Cleveland Clinic and finding the cafeteria closed we were looking for somewhere close to grab food - essentially quick, take-out as we couldn't spend that long away from the hospital. I'm giving Offerdahl's 3 stars - 2.5 stars for the food, and 4 stars for the service, so averaging that out to 3.25 and rounding down to 3. Really wish I could round up to 4, but food is more important than service, especially for take-out. We walked in at 7:50pm to find the place empty, only to learn they closed at 8pm. I offered to leave and not make the staff stay late on a Friday night but they were more than accommodating. In fact several food items we wanted to order had salmon or steak and they said cooking these items would take 15ish minutes but they were happy to do so for us. Eventually we decided we didn't have that kind of time anyways and went with the chicken and vegetarian options. We ended up getting a Johnny's Salad (the staff said this was the most popular salad), half sized Kale Salad and Tomato Bisque and the Ginger Thai Bowl with Chicken. Now here's the thing about the food....all of these items sounded great on the menu (albeit the things I really wanted with salmon and steak sounded better) but upon eating them they were really underwhelming. Forgettable might be a better word. Everything tasted kind of blah and in fact none of us actually finished any of our dishes. Definitely won't be rushing back...especially not when there are lots of other quick food places in the area. read more

I stopped by this place one morning wanting to try something new for breakfast, after seeing a lot of good looking pictures and reviews I always wanted to try it, so I went over and it was really great. It's a really cool/cute little spot, it was quite busy and lively, full of happy faces and nice people, a really nice vibe here. They have both breakfast and lunch foods. Also they have alot of fresh pastries and bagels as well, along with a variety of ways to get coffee (even nitro). I got a iced caramel latte, the espresso used had a great flavor! the caramel flavor mostly stuck to the bottom though sadly, but it was still good! I also got a cinnamon crunch coffee cake, it was very delicious and tasted fresh. For my main plate I had a multigrain bagel with turkey suasage, it also has cheddar cheese and egg. It was delicious! also fresh and they have alot of variety so you can get whatever you want as far as the bagel used and the meat they use on it. I highly recommend these. Not only do they offer great vegetarian and vegan dishes, but they also let you substitute any protein with TOFU :) YUM! Their Bagels are Vegan, except the Cheese Blend, Chocolate Chip & Supreme. You can have your bagel with lots of spreads, the two vegan ones are Peanut Butter and the Hummus, my favorite is the hummus. You can veganize almost all of their coffees & teas with either Almond Milk or Soy Milk. Can I say that the Hot Chai Tea with Soy Milk is great! Surprisingly delicious! All along I thought this place was just a "bagel" place but I was so wrong! My mom told me she had lunch here yesterday and today I decided to come on thru. It's located right off Weston Rd, in a pretty plaza facing the road. There's plenty of parking spaces in front which is always great to have. The location itself isn't BIG but there are several seats and a couple of booths to take advantage of. The menu is quite different, everything regardless of what you're looking at look very healthy... They even give you the option to make a meal vegetarian! I ordered the Quinoa Greens salad and wasted disappointed, I've never had a dish like that before but I felt healthy just looking at it (mission accomplished) just about everything on the menu looks amazing, I gotta try more things out. Probably the best lunch menu for the health conscious. I've enjoyed a few of their dishes. The restaurant is clean and inviting, but a little small. The staff are friendly and quick with the orders. Our only complaint is after ordering our first time order from Offerdahl's and paying, when at home we noticed that they offer an Happy Hour special. Between 4 and 8 pm the exact platter we ordered is 1/2 price. Our first time order was picked up and paid for at 3:56 PM full price according to our of receipt. I was attending a conference in the area at Bonaventure Resort and I only had a hour break for lunch. My coworker suggested that we go to this restaurant for a healthier much. When we arrive during lunch time it was slightly busy but they took the orders very fast. The orders were being taken at the cash register and in line on a tablet by a guy who later told me he was the manager. Once he took my order I was able to pay right at the tablet with my card and he yelled my order out aloud to the cooks. I ordered the salmon, grilled shrimp and fresh vegetables with a fountain drink and chocolate chip cookie for dessert. My coworkers and I went to go have a seat and their food came out about 15 to 20 minutes later. About 10 minutes later I stopped an employee who was walking by to ask him if he could check on my order because I had not received my lunch. The employee came back within a few minutes and informed me that there had been a misunderstanding and that apparently the cooks never heard the manager yell out my order and that my order was never cooked. By this time my coworkers are halfway done with their food and I am starving. The guy asks me what I would like to order and tells me that they will try their best to expedite my order. Even though the restaurant was at fault they never attempted to compensate me and did not offer me any thing or a refund. All the manager told me was that he was sorry. By the time my food came out my coworkers had been done eating for about 10 minutes and I only had about five mins before we had to be back. I had to take my food to go and eat during my seminars at the conference because I was not able to eat at the restaurant. I thought that the food was very bland and the vegetables were not steamed well. I feel like the quality of my meal was poor due to the cooks trying to rush my food out and it caused my fish to be dry and my shrimp was overcooked. The only two things that I liked at the restaurant was the teriyaki sauce that you can ask for on the side and the chocolate chip cookie was amazing! Other than that I will never return to this restaurant and I don't recommend it. read more

My boss loves to eat here and I didn't really understand why- but I've come to realize they have a huge variety of very original and tasteful plates. From their Buddha Bowl to their salads to their sandwiches. They all have a very original taste - along with being very healthy meals. I was able to come in to the store and dine-in just last week. Staff was cleanly and they brought the food as well as dressings and salt and pepper at our request. The pricing is cheap for the healthy food they offer. Well I have some mixed reviews after trying this place. They had plenty of delicious looking options that I saw on yelp yet my experience was different. Small waiting area for take out meals. I came after the lunch crush and my Togo order took some time. I had the avocado toast with the eggs that were actually over hard eggs (yolk not runny) and they were a little burnt. I decided to try a dessert that looked delicious which was the red velvet cookie. It taste like artificial food coloring and some chocolate pieces. Not on the plus side although my eggs were burnt the actual dish was still delicious and I was looking around and found that others food looked good. Just the spacing as well as timing was difficult for me. I will say I thought they had a really friendly staff, but I expected more of the food. Love this place. I love that you can stick to clean eating without the temptation of the not so clean eating. This is my first time at this location in Weston. The place is on the smaller side. I happen to go there during the lunch rush hour. At first I was not happy seeing all the people there thinking it would take a long time to order let alone get my food. To my surprise it was not that long before the line moved and very quick in getting my food. Very cool, I like when a place is able to handle rush hours.. I always go to my favorite the Hale Kale salad. This time I ordered a half size with chicken. Like always, it was delicious and very filling. I need to remember about this place more often.
