    Chicken Salad
    Nishant N.

I was visiting Sawgrass Mall and, after a day of shopping, decided to grab some dinner at the Sawgrass food court. With so many options available, I eventually decided to try Osmow's Sawgrass for my meal. From their menu, I opted for the Chicken Salad as it seemed like a lighter yet fulfilling dinner choice. The server prepared it by mixing fresh veggies, grilled chicken, and sauces right in front of me before handing it over. When I finally got to taste the salad, I found it to be just okay. While the ingredients seemed fresh and the portion size was decent, the overall flavor didn't quite hit the mark for me. It felt like it was missing something to make it stand out--a bit more seasoning or a better balance of flavors in the sauces could have improved the dish. While I appreciated the effort and convenience, I believe there's room for improvement in the taste and preparation of the salad.

I've been going to Osmo's Shawarma Grill since the early 2000s, back when I'd head there after soccer matches in Streetsville, Mississauga (Always get extra garlic and extra tahini ). That's when I first met Sam Osmo, the man who made every single sandwich with his own hands, seven days a week. Even back then, you could tell there was something special about his shawarma. It wasn't just food--it was an experience. What I didn't know at the time was that Sam had studied his craft by tasting shawarmas all over Egypt, taking the best of what he learned and creating his own secret sauce. It's that sauce, combined with his passion for perfection, that makes each bite a miracle. Years later, I can confidently say no shawarma compares to Osmo's. Sam's dedication to quality and consistency has only grown with his well-deserved success. The flavors are so rich and well-balanced, they transport you straight to the streets of Cairo. It's the kind of taste that stays with you, and you'll find yourself craving it again and again. I can't recommend Osmo's shawarma enough. If you think you've had good shawarma, trust me--you haven't until you've had an Osmo's shawarma. It's more than just food, it's Sam Osmo's legacy in every bite. (Don't forget always extra garlic & tahini)!

Food was good. The mall was not busy but it took the staff 6 minutes to take my order. It's in the mall so there was no real ambience. I would go again hopefully the staff will be faster

Food was good but definitely overpriced. They charge $1.50 more for cheese, hummus, and their special sauce. Would not come again.

I had the Greek Salad with Chicken Shawarma and they were very generous with the ingredient portions.

We came after a busy morning at the beach and I was craving something fresh. After a quick search on Yelp, I found Naked Farmer and was reminded that we were super close to it. It's fairly close to Sawgrass Mills mall and is in a plaza with a good amount of parking. Although the outside seems small, the space inside is pretty long and has a good amount of seating. The servining is "chipotle-style" where you order your food and customize it how you want it and pay at the register at the end. I shared a bowl with my partner and we got half rice and half greens, some toppings, and the chicken thigh. This was a good amount for us to share and it was delicious! We also tried their date cake and my partner was a huge fan of it. I loved how clean the inside was and how nice all the staff was. They had water cups for self service and it was cold even without ice, which I loved! When you're done with your food, you put them away in a cabinet which is constantly cleaned out by staff which helped give the space a clean aesthetic. Very thought through and intentional on their behalf. Loved Naked Farmer and would definitely get again if I'm in the area or craving something fresh!

And the place is brightly lit and seems to be really clean. On this day, I decided to try the roasted chicken. I believe it was supposed to have some type of rosemary on it. I'm not sure what's going on these days but it seems like most places are cooking chicken when it's still frozen. It just had that cooked from frozen texture to it. It was tough and bland. I tried the macaroni and cheese, which I did like and the carrots, which I also did like, both solid sides something I would get again. I was able to get the kale Caesar with my plate, which I thought was excellent. It had the right amount of dressing on it. I do plan on returning to try the salmon. Hopefully I have a better experience with that.

I wish I had more pictures, but I usually dive in before I can snap them. Everything we've tried has been incredible, but I'll name a few personal favorites. The corn ribs - I don't know what they do to this corn, but we literally fight over these at the table. They have a sour tang to the spice and an addictive roasted flavor, and are perfect with the garlic sauce. The hummus - theirs is nutty and earthy with a smooth texture and served with chickpeas and garlic on top. It's a great starter too with the pita! The gyro - they actually use lamb for theirs, which is a huge plus for me since I can't eat the beef/lamb blend at most other places. The balance of fillings is perfect and the flavor is spot on here. The mint lemonade - so refreshing and not too sweet. I think about this stuff every time it's hot out and wish I had some. I order it every time I visit. The restaurant itself has more seating than you'd think, and offers a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind. Everything comes out really fast, and the owner/manager is truly the best. He insisted on helping me and my mom to the car last time we got a big takeout order and is always very attentive to the table's needs. I know the plaza has some construction going on, but don't let that out you off of a visit. This place is absolutely worth it!

I decided to get the Media Luna which is half chicken and half beef shawarma with a side of fries or salad. I opted for the salad. The chicken half was heavenly and the chicken was seasoned nicely. The pita itself was soft and stuffed beyond belief with the chicken. The beef half was also amazing and the meat was cooked perfectly and nicely tender. the salad had a very nice vinigerette that had a nice bite to it and was perfect on the fresh salad. The media Luna was about $18 and well worth every penny. The place was super clean and nicely spaced out so I didn't feel like I was sitting shoulder to shoulder with anyone. The place was nicely decorated and was very clean. I liked also being able to see into the area where the kitchen and meat were on spits, slowly rotating and cooking. I will be stopping here again as soon as I am in the mood for some amazing shawarma!
