Where do I start, well first they asked me what was wrong. I told them that the laptop shuts off by itself but the battery light is still on. Then the LCD screen needed replacement plus a full diagnoses. Well, they fixed the LCD for a good price. Then came back to me with a higher quote saying that it was a 4k 133mhz. Which I already explained that to them earlier with them not understanding. Still, no problem. I am very easy to work with and was the whole way, until I got my laptop back that is useless now. Well, I pick it up and you really do not see anyone to talk about the issues when you drop it off or pick it up. That's strike one. Secondly, I pick it up and get home it still shutting off. Strike 2. Now the main issue, if you do a full diagnoses they should have known it was the GPU. Because it lags with game play. I tell them that and then they act like we did what you wanted and the motherboard needs replacement. First, they should have diagnosed it, and saying that before we even proceeded forward. This was one of the worse experiences I have had with any company. I should have had my brother tell me, as he is an IT. He would have known right away when it shuts off that is internal. But I wanted to give him a break because he does it all day. So, I had to pay about 3 hundred for easy labor or diagnoses. But they just updated the GPU driver and cleaned it. But yet didn't notice that it was useless. Now I am stuck with a razer laptop that is basically useless and I paid 800 bucks for an LCD screen new battery and diagnoses. If they would have done their job with the diagnoses I would have paid just like a 99 for diagnoses, which would have been fine. Oh and get this they wanted to sell me a new battery adapter for 180 bucks. I mean I would stay clear from this company. You cannot even speak to someone face to face. Then they tried selling me stuff I didn't need. Worse experience ever, and I will be putting in a claim with my cc company asap. read more

I first inquired on the weekend since I had cracked my laptop screen and it's a work computer. I need it fixed ASAP. He was very responsive and he told me about 5-6 business days. I was so stressed as I needed the computer to work throughout the week. He later clarified that the part had to be ordered and that would take about 5 days. Post reading some positive reviews, I took my Lenovo Edge 15 laptop for a performance boost. My laptop had been running ultra slow for last 2 years and it got to a point where all the USB ports stopped functioning, OS got corrupted. Upon receiving the diagnostics from PC Expert Services, I approved them for the necessary repair. I was getting so frustrated because I had taken my 2.5 y.o. laptop to Kevin's Computer for an OS factory reset last week. However, while they finally got my laptop to work, I got a suspicious malware pop-up message this morning which I've never had issues with before since I have Norton Antivirus installed. When I called Kevin's computer to try to get this resolved, I was told this is a different issue from what I initially brought my computer for and normally they would charge me $ 100 but since I was just there last week, they "might" be able to give me a discount. I started Yelping for another computer repair service and came across PC Expert Services that had 5 star rating with 50 reviews. I read a few of the reviews and decided I should call to schedule. The answering machine picked up but the outgoing announcement provided a cell phone # so I decided to text and provide a picture of the actual malware message that I received. Behrouz was very knowledgeable and provided expert technical support for "free" via text. I was in a panic mode at that point but the information/instructions he provided calmed me down. What's impressive about Behrouz was his commitment to helping me and making sure that my laptop was back to normal. I was having some pretty bad issues with my DELL laptop's hinge and WiFi connectivity. Initially, I went to a different technician who said they couldn't fix my laptop, but then I decided to get a second opinion. I'm really glad that I did so by being referred and shooting an email to Behrouz for a free quote! He replied within a few hours in the same day that I sent the email, and he reassured me that he'd be able to fix my laptop. I dropped off the laptop at his office, and within a few days, he emailed me an estimate for all the necessary repairs. ---Rant--- So I was stoked when my crazy ex-girlfriend gave me her computer after we broke up (as a parting gift I guess?). But after finally transferring all my files and apps to this new desktop PC and putting in about 4-5 months of usage, the motherboard fried. Suckage. Once again my ex finds a way to take yet another stab at me. Yeesh!!! Anyway I tried to save this thing. Dug around here and found PCE. Brought it in to Behrouz and he said to give him 'til the next day. He calls back the next day and I come in to discuss. Tells me the motherboard is fried and suggests not bothering to replace it, saying "If you have to replace the motherboard or the processor, you're better off just getting a whole new computer." Basically the probability of other parts frying on me are much higher when one of those two burn out first. Finally, he made a copy of all my important data and put it on a DVD for me. Very thankful he was able to recover that. He suggested for my own future use to get an external hard drive docking station so I can either back up data quickly to another HD or rescue data as he just did in case this happens again! Also asked him about fixing iPads since my home button stopped working. Get this...instead of asking me to bring it in so he could fix it, he simply tipped me off to Settings | General | Accessibility | ***AssistiveTouch***, which puts a home button on your screen! Had no idea. I think he charged me $75 for labor and also guaranteed if I wanted to try to replace the motherboard and get a 2nd PC up and running, he would only charge for parts! This place is supposed to be free diagnose. And it is. However, be careful if you decide not to have them repair your PC.  In my case, I decided that the repair estimate was not reasonable and picked up the laptop. Unfortunately, the laptop that was physically in perfect shape before, was damaged in two places when I picked it up. In fact, I replaced the part they diagnosed, but the PC didn't work anyways. Either their diagnosis was wrong or they got angry for not getting authorization for the repair job and damaged my laptop. I didn't think I would be writing a 5 star review at first, but glad that I am. Long story short, got great service from PCES. Behrouz (I think that was him) was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I felt like he was telling me the truth and not just trying to gouge me ala Jiffy Lube. He found the cheapest solution to my problem. His demeanor is such that you believe whatever he tells you. The only warning I would give to people is that this place is not a store. It's an office in a business complex so if you're going on the weekend, there may not be someone there to help you (which is what happened to me). Weekdays were easier because there is a receptionist out front who could help you. You can avoid this hassle by calling before you go there. The repair did not solve the problem (water damage) and I was not charged for the parts ordered or labor because my computer could not be fixed. They were very helpful and prompt. My laptop wouldn't boot up, and I had some time-sensitive data on it. Because of COVID, I couldn't take the computer to them directly, but I explained the problem over e-mail and I was able to drop the computer off at a convenient drop site early the next morning. Excellent service. My Microsoft Surface 2 laptop was not charging at all for the past 1 week. I showed it first to Best Buy from where I purchased it last year. Without checking much, they asked me to replace charging port which would have costed 100's of dollars. I then found PC Expert Service from Yelp and decided to take it to them. PC Expert (Behrouz) did the diagnostics free of charge, figured out that my Power Adapter had a problem and asked me to try another Power Adapter before any laptop repair. It worked. I wasn't charged a penny by him for this diagnostic and advice. He had also given me an alternate quote (in case problem had persisted even after changing the Power Adapter) for replacing the charger port in laptop and explained very well the challenges involved because of the way Microsoft has designed these laptops. That quote was also very reasonable compared to those I got from few other service centers. Eventually I did not even have to do that as his diagnostics was accurate. I now know one very reliable go-to service center for any laptop related problems in future. I would strongly recommend this to others as well. read more

I've been meaning to get to this review for a while, as of 12/3/2016 my pc is still having a lot of issues after I sent it in a while ago(around 11/4/2016), however this is not the complete reason why i'm giving them such a low rating. Behrouz is a really good guy, he was really on top of notifying me of any progress he was making and he does not charge you anything to look at the computer only when you need the repairs done. The reason why i'm giving this place such a low rating was because a lot of the issues he mentioned while we were messaging each other didn't seem like they were the problem at all. I had mentioned before hand that I suspected my video card or my power supply were the problem ( My computer has been and still is crashing every time I put my video card on load games and such) but when I dropped off my computer he kept mentioning that my hard drive had corrupted Nvidia drivers, hard drive was not partioned correctly, and registry corruption. I started suspecting that none of these were the actual issue since I had completely wiped my drive beforehand and reinstalled windows 10 not once but three times. I had also to my knowledge removed my Nvidia drivers properly and reinstalled the 980 ti drivers correctly. I am not sure if he was just trying to give me a completely random reason for why my computer was freezing or that my hard drives were indeed corrupted but none the less my computer is still acting up so I really think its not the latter. Another thing that has been bugging me and i'm still not really sure about was he said he would re-seat everything in my PC in case I did install something incorrectly. I'm am really confused about this situation because it seems like my IO shield in the back was installed incorrectly and it seems that he did fix that issue( Took it out flipped it around ) you have to reinstall the mother board to do this so I assumed that he did re-seat the motherboard. However I took off my back plate off and I remember the pain to get that thing on the first time I put together the computer so I remember where all the wires were harshly squeezed in there, but when I took it off it did not seem like anything was re-seated it looked exactly the same as it was the first time I built the computer. Here comes the problem, he said he would re-seat my PC and it seems like he did but then on some other parts of the PC it does not seem like he did anything at all. The 8 pin connector looked like it was re-seated and the wire connecting my CPU cooler to the motherboard seems like it was not. I'm very confused about this cause I hoped he would re-seat EVERYTHING in case something was installed incorrectly. TLDR: If you are having hardware issues like your power supply is failing bad ram etc, I cannot recommend this place it does not seem reliable. If you are maybe having a hard drive issue such as a virus you could come to Behrouz as he seems like a reliable guy when it comes to those things. What really bugged me was I had to pay A WOPPING $129.00 for someone to tell me that my hard drive was corrupted ( it probably was not) and to re-seat an IO shield. I'm really conflicted about this review since I do like Behrouz he was very on top of things but long story short my PC is still having issues. I will update this review when I get my new video card and possibly power supply and see if that resolves any issues. read more

Behrouz was wonderful at helping me diagnose the problem with my broken laptop. It had stopped charging all together, and though I had purchased a replacement DC Jack, it still would not charge at all. I brought in the laptop (Toshiba L505) and the AC adapter, and he quickly determined that the charger was not the problem. Within minutes, he was inside of my laptop, under the keyboard, checking the DC jack. Turns out, the Jack that I had bought was faulty, everything else was functioning as it should. He was able to assure me that the problem was definitely NOT with my motherboard, even as best Buy told me was most likely the problem over the phone that same morning. Instead of buying a new motherboard, as Best Buy had suggested without even looking at the laptop, and costing a pocketful, I now know the problem still lies with the broken DC Jack, a 10$ fix. Behrouz was referred to my boss by a friend who raved about him, his service and reasonable rates so we called him to network our computers at work. He had specials going on his website so we bought 3 brand new computers and a laser printer for a great deal. He installed and networked them together and came back out later to do the same when we relocated. Recently, we had an emergency with one of our computers which got infected with a Trojan virus. He came out immediately, took the computer for a day and was able to access the hard drive, clear the virus, reboot the system and re-install everything. We're so grateful he saved our computer! Back in summer 2012, I went to Behrouz for a broken screen on my iPad. Along with a shattered screen, I also dented one of the four corners due to a vertical five feet drop. Needless to say, it would be difficult to perfectly fit another piece with the crooked casing. I was worried it would be beyond repair but Behrouz was able fix and fit one in. It's been a month since PC Expert Services fixed my laptop . . . but I recently realized that they fixed more than I even asked for. Some of the screws on the bottom of my laptop were missing, and some of the screw holes were broken. This situation made my laptop feel old and flimsy. Although I didn't even mention these issues to PC Experts, they fixed them completely, without charging me or saying anything about it. I did notice that my laptop felt different and firmer than it had before, but it took me a while to realize what PC Experts had done. So awesome! read more
