The salesman is pushy and sells you more product than you need; with promises that they will take back anything that is not used if you switch printers. I was having issues with my printer and Bud the salesman told me that if I used their ink all cartridges had to be their product for it to work because of a micro chip. Changed out all of the ink and still my printer would not print black. I was getting frustrated with him because he never kept his word. NO calls when promised, only empty promises. After I called them back the gentleman informed me that he only did business with the other lady. I informed him that the "other lady" works for me and I am cancelling our business relationship. If you happen to read this before you get sucked into their web, remember this: DO NOT EVER BUY COPY/PRINTER SUPPLIES FROM A COLD CALL - IT'S ALWAYS A SCAM. My last company got scammed the same way these guys do it. They cold call you, ask for the person in charge of copy/printer supplies and what model printer/copier you have. That's red flag #1. Then, they bug you (relentlessly) to buy their products that they can get for you a cheaper rate than the manufacturer. Usually, what happens next is you get substandard supplies with an outrageous bill and they will not refund you. Then you spend the next few months trying to terminate the relationship without losing anymore money. Let me give you some tips. 1. Ask Questions. As soon as you start asking questions, these scam artists usually hang up. "Where are you based out of", "what is your phone number" and "what is the name of your company" is usually when they abort the mission cause they know you're on to them. 2. Attitudes Begin to Flare If that doesn't work, by this time, they have a major attitude...red flag #2. No sales person gets an attitude because THEY NEED YOU, not the other way around. I always like to throw that up in their face when things turn dickish. 3. Don't Pay!! Finally, if you have found this review after you have already received the products, there is still hope. Come closer, let me whisper the solution in your ear...DON'T PAY THE BILL! You should have a return address on the product - ship that shit back to where it came from, get a tracking number to ensure it arrives and let them know you returned the product and will need a refund. If hey refuse, say the product has already left your possession and you will not be paying. If they threaten you with collections, let them. Finding the next person to scam is much more valuable to them than trying to ruin your credit. Sending someone to collections take months - they will let it go. This is a money hungry company who slams people into believing that they can try a product and then after you try it, then you pay for it supposedly "without any pressure". Shortly after you receive the product, you receive your invoice and the invoice is due 15 days later. As soon as the invoice is due, they start harassing you with calls and emails. SCAM COMPANY! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY! Do not let them get their hooks into you at all - they never let go. I took over a business over 5 years ago that had used them - their defective ink cartridges were part of the sale of the business. I recognized the cartridges as refills/re-manufactured/non-OEM and tried to return them to our local cartridge re-fill place - not theirs! I asked the previous owner from who I purchased the business, and she said she got them from Associated Supply, which is a company that cold calls and claims to be "your ink supplier". I told them about the defects and that I do not do business with companies with their marketing schemes (pushy cold calls). They stopped calling for awhile, then started calling again once a month or so. I would usually see their name on caller ID and not answer. Last week, they started calling multiple times a day. I told one of their telemarketers to stop calling, and he got rude so I hung up and complained to the BBB (of which they are an accredited member with an "A+ rating" (even though they have 7 negative reviews on the BBB site as compared to 1 positive)). After complaining and being told by Ken Sabblut that I would be placed on their do not call list, the calls continue, multiple times a day. I am usually a cool customer but I work alone and when I have to stop what I am doing to run to the phone to have it be Associated Supply (again) it is beyond aggravating. HORRIBLE COMPANY! After declining call after call, I finally took them up on their offer. The manager made me an offer I could not refuse. He said he would simply send me a cartridge out free of charge and I could try it out for 45 days, and if I was not satisfied, he would send a prepaid label to have it shipped back at no charge to me, risk free. He also said we would not hear from them until after the 45 days, no bill, nothing. Well I received a bill within 7 days and called them back. I already had a cartridge in my printer and wasn't going to immediately change it out just to use theirs. They said that is fine as long as I had it figured out by the 45th day. Well, there was no way for me to clear through their cartridge and mine within that time frame to see if their cartridge was worthwhile. I requested a return label, and they refused stating I had to pay the shipping back because I had not yet opened the package so there was no way for me to be 'satisfied' with the product. I then replied I would open the box, call them back, tell them I was not satisfied and request a return label. KENT, who I was speaking with got belligerent and told me no one made that offer to me and that I would just use the cartridge for free and no matter what, claim I was not satisfied, and would send the cartridge back basically getting a free cartridge. If this were true, I would have opened and began using the cartridge immediately. I'm an honest business making an honest living and was accused ill-mannerly of using deceptive practices. After arguing back and forth for a few more minutes, he got my email address and said he would email me a pre-paid label. Its been 48 Hours and I still have not received it. I tried calling after business hours today. I will try again on Monday. They are very friendly and confident in their product when they are trying to get you to buy it. IDK.... Never had a problem with them. They contacted me with a great price for my Samsung ML-2510 Laser Printer (two for $138). Their product actually lasted longer than buying from OfficeDepot! Whenever purchasing directly from other companies, cartaridges would just "run out" of ink with no warning. Even shaking, they wouldn't print for me - retailing between $89 and $109 for ONE cartridge - I feel that I got the best deal with cartridges that lasted longer. Maybe it depends upon the printer. After reading other Negative reviews, I don't believe they are a scam, I like their "open billing" policy (receive now pay later) and I am a satisfied customer and will place an order with them again, although I did tell them, you don't have to call me, when I need more products, I'll call you. They didn't call me again until I initiated contact. Sales is a very hard job! Their job is to get you to buy, and unfortunately, they do have to be a little aggressive in their sales tacticts to get you to purchase. I call it, Hustling for your $$. I purchased toner for my HP printer and I am very sorry I did. There was toner all over everything. My copies had clumps of toner on them. When I opened the printer, there was excess toner all over the inside. I also purchased toner for my Toshiba office copier. Same type of issue. Dirty copies, excess toner all over. Copies not usable. Company called to sell their ink cartridges that supposedly were equal quality, etc., to HP, but much cheaper. Got the ink, but it would not work in my all-in-one. Called ASC and they assured me that it was the correct cartridge, but then admitted that in order for it to work, I had to change my settings/permissions on my printer. I followed the instructions they gave me, but it STILL did not work right. Ultimately, it never did work right, and the ink leaked out of the cartridges on three out of the five. Back in March of 2010, I was contacted by a sales representative trying to sell printer ink cartridges and toner. I was told that I would be saving a lot of money if I purchased through them. I was even told I could return the product for a full refund if I was not satisfied with it. Regrettably, I agreed... When the products arrived, I noticed they were after-market products, so my boss decided that he did not want the products and asked for me to return it. I tried to contact Associated Supply--which took a lot of effort because I am always sent to their voice mailbox--and after talking back and forth, I finally decided to just purchase the product and terminate our account with them because I thought it would be the easier way to out. I write them a check for their merchandise and get on with my life... In August, I was contacted by a saleswoman who said she was going to send us a few more products. I tell her we did not want the products, but she claims I had agreed to purchasing it at a discount. I explained to her that I did not ever agree to the purchase, but she again (stubbornly) insists that I did and that she was going to send it anyways. When I told her I was just going to refuse it, she replied, ill-manneredly, "YOU DON'T WANT THE PRODUCTS?... YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY?... DO YOU WANT US TO TURN YOU TO COLLECTIONS AND RUIN YOUR CREDIT?..." We continued our dispute back-and-forth for 5 minutes... She then told me to have my manager call her at extension #362, and before allowing me to respond, she hung up. I immediately tried to call back, but had little success. After trying for 20 times (seriously), I was finally able to reach the receptionist. I asked her who it was at extension # 362, and she told me the person's name is LAUREL WILLIAMS and that she was in a meeting, but will be calling me back shortly. The GOOD: They sound very polite and sincere when they are initially trying to sell you their products. The BAD: The product is an aftermarket product. Trying to reach a representative of the company is really tough. If you pay attention, the sale representatives are very pushy. They agree to help you terminate your account, but yet call you a few months later to try to resell the product. The UGLY: The representative I spoke to (LAUREL) was very rude, pushy, and had no manners at all. Because I declined to receive the products, she had to harass and insult me. RECOMMENDATION: For all of you that are not signed-up with Associated Supply, I only wish that you were able to read my personal experience and take it into consideration. They called me back in November of 2016 asking if I would give them a try. The price they quoted me was good for the ink cartridges I required. I advised the rep that I had just purchased new cartridges. So, if they sent me replacements, it might be awhile before I tried them. And, I would not pay for them until I tried them. She said okay. She would ship them and call me within 30 days to see if I had an opportunity to use them. They called me towards the end of December and I told them I was still using the ones I had purchased the previous month. I offered to send the back, but she said no, keep them another month. Then, I received a call at the end of January and I advised her I was nearing the end of the black cartridge. I asked her if she wanted me to return them because I understood it had been a couple of months, but I was always upfront with her about my usage and when I would anticipate using their cartridge(s). So, I asked her to send me an invoice and, after I tried the black cartridge, I would remit payment on good faith for the others. I installed it on 02/10/2017(I always write the date on the box in order to see how long I get out of the cartridges). Today, I received a collections letter for the outstanding balance. I immediately called them and asked for a return address for the unused cartridges. Now, all of a sudden, no one is available to talk to me. I was advised by the operator someone would call me back. I will pay for the black cartridge and else. I will never use them again, nor will I refer anyone to them. F.Y.I. Immediately after posting this review, I received a call from Ken to discuss the account. I explained to him what had happened. He gave me their side and I paid him for the ink cartridges. Scammed!! I received a phone call to receive toner cartridges and if they don't work for me I can have them returned at their expense. The toner arrives in old looking boxes and I have not had the opportunity to try them when they called for payment over the phone so I said I want to return them before I found out they wouldn't work for me. I was then told I would be responsible for a 15% restocking fee and return shipping and I was promised by the supervisor in the beginning they would pickup the full expense of the return in any scenario. Oh how I wish I would have checked this site out prior. I was contacted repeatedly by this company even though I said I was not interested. Then one day the lady caught me during a slow time so I listened. She told me she had an offer for toner that was better than mine. I told her very clearly that I paid $20-25 for each of my toners. I have 9 printers in my office and believe me; I make sure that I get good deals. She told me that I could use their products and I would only pay if I was satisfied that the product surpassed what I use currently. I questioned her repeatedly and reiterated, why would I pay for something that was 3 times the cost of what I already get? She said it was 100% satisfaction guaranteed, no money period. So I told her fine. She wanted to send me toners for all my printers and I stopped her. I told her just send me 1 for canon image class 4450 and a dell 1133 at which I will compare them side by side with my current toners. She said it would be no problem to send me more but I told her no, I wanted to do side by side comparison and that would be enough. I figured I had nothing to lose and if the product was good, so be it I would pay and if not I wouldn't. I clarified that with her several times and she confirmed it with me and I confirmed it with a 3rd party who led me to believe they were recording the conversation which was totally fine by me. So here we are, a month later. I called them today to let them know I liked the canon printer and wanted to pay for it but I was not impressed by the dell. Wowee, all of a sudden the wording changes on their part. a supervisor has to call me back and he starts haranguing me about how I used him, their product and why would I ALLOW them to send me a toner that was three times the cost of what I had. My experience was much the same as the previous writer. We have a small home-based business so I don't buy much ink anyway, but they insisted that I could save LOTS of money and honestly the HP cartridges are ridiculous. So I thought I'd give them a try. My first red flag (if I had been listening to my guts) was that I had to purchase a minimum of $100 worth of product. Then I got my order and was disappointed again.The cartridges are recycled HP cartridges. One of them that the sales person GUARANTEED would work, my printer doesn't even recognize. Another (they're all "XL" meaning they should last longer) quit working right after I installed it. A third one ran out quickly even though it was supposed to be "XL." I'm using the fourth one now, and it seems to be the only one that actually does what was promised. I refused to pay. I got a call from one of Associated Supply Company sales people soliciting my business to buy their printer ink cartridges and I told her i wasn't interested because I had never had any luck with after market printer ink and that I was happy with HP ink for my HP printer. Persisting, she insisted theirs was [great] and was better than...in her persistence she said she was "going to send me the ink anyway"...made herself sound like it would be gratis or good will and even though I still insisted I was not interested she persisted. To remain sociable I acknowledged what she said (that I had heard her, not that I agreed with her because that is how I communicate) and we ended the call. Several weeks later a package with the ink arrived, then I got a bill then I got a call from them wondering about the payment and I explained that I didn't want it. The ink is still sitting where I set it on the server in my office, even after talking with Ken, who took over one of the calls, insisting I pay for the ink. I explained that I never ordered it, the salesperson knew that but said she would send it anyway, that I didn't want it now and never would and would be happy to send it back to them but that, since I didn't order it, i would need them to send me a postage paid return label and then I would be happy to send the ink back to them because I was never going to use their ink. Ken got angry with me on that call and hung up on me. Their ink remains unused and on my server in my office as I look at it now over the top of the collection letter that arrived today from A.R.M. Terrible business, horrible customer service, said they talked our receptionist into agreeing to try their product, who has NO authorization to order anything. She said she agreed to accept more info and they sent the ink cartridges anyway. I spoke with them several times and told them they needed to have someone pick them up and they said they sent our receptionist a label to send back and cannot send another one. I just got off the phone with a VERY PUSHY salesman who didn't want to take no for an answer. He gave me the company name and a phone number which doesn't match any of the numbers on the site. I've dealt with companies like this before in other areas. I had a bad experience with the Associated brand ink so I told them I wanted to return it and get real HP ink for my printer. They said they'd take it back for credit toward the next order...but not this one. They could provide me with HP ink for cheaper than HP sells it for, and with free shipping. So they charged 190.15 for one set of 5 inks HP#364XL (triple the use of a standard size cartridge). Later I learned I could have gotten the same product from HP for $104. WHAT A RIPOFF! read more

This company is unbelievable, they call my company almost daily trying to get me to buy their toner. When I tell them I can find it cheaper elsewhere they've had a huge range of reactions, but the most entertaining was the guy who told me to "F" off. I've mentioned this to their sales people when they call and they get real quiet. I mention their Yelp reviews and their best comeback is "Did you know we have an A- rating from the BBB?". Well no kidding! All you have to do to get that is pay the BBB! Stay away from this company. Whether their a scam or not, I'm not sure. But I do know that they are rude and relentless. Absolutely terrible! I would give 0 stars if possible. Spent two months trying to get cartridges that worked. Finally gave up and sent everything back at my coat. Then they charged me $29 for a cartridge they supposedly sent and didn't receive back. Buyer beware! Terrible customer service and a total rip off! Their cartridges DO NOT WORK!! read more
