The Print & Copy Service desk saved me. They were the only print shop open before noon on a Sunday. I came in for a last minute print job, 30 mins before my event was supposed to begin. I had last minute revisions I could not fix until Saturday at midnight when all the print shops were closed. I was so relieved when I found Office Depot was open. When I did not understand the self-printing process, the two employees there were very quick to respond. The one employee who came over to help me was extremely helpful. I think she saw that I was trying to hide my stress, and she moved very quickly for me. She was to the point, concise, friendly, and very clear. I felt very relieved. When I did not understand some of the steps, she came over with kindness and patience and found a solution within seconds. There was no impatience or judgement. Please give kudos to the two people were working Sunday morning of May 10th. I was seriously in and out in only 10 mins and so grateful for their help. read more

I had spoke to Mike, the print manager regarding some ripped posters that I received, and this was how I received them when I picked them up from the store and opened them up at home. He had a really bad attitude and saying that they cannot refund the item, even if I return it back to the store I got stuck with $100 loss of printing these posters due to defective machine when I called again he hung up the phone and told me he did not want to provide provide more information regarding printing another poster and that there was nothing that they could do I called customer service business solutions, and they refunded me right away The workers at the store are very obnoxious and super rude. I guess that's why he is working at a minimum wage job. These people don't get too far. I think it is so sad what people have turned into lol read more

We stopped in for a specific item, a poster/shipping tube. The parking lot has plenty of space and we walked around the store looking for the right area. We ended up walking around most of the store before finding ourselves in the correct section. They had a couple options, but unfortunately not in the size we were looking for. You definitely should check out Office Depot in the East Sac area for good customer service, a well stocked store, and your TSA pre-needs. Check out the sales and clearance. There's often some really good finds. My husband had his eye on the office furniture, specifically a chair. We made an appointment online with TSA pre-and booked our time here at this location. The lady who helped us was very nice and helpful. My husband and my mother-in-law were able to be TSA preapproved in a matter of a day. This process was wonderful. I had a TSA appointment this past weekend. The young lady assisting me, called me up and began fingerprinting me, having me go over and over all my prints more than 8 plus times each. Then when it came to taking my picture, she went back to the screen, and said out loud, of course there's a shadow, she has black hair, and she's wearing a black hoodie! Then she followed up with saying out loud, what they don't tell people is that they created and intended TSA for white people and to work for white people only. I stood there not knowing what to say. I was in disbelief at what I was hearing. The woman who took the pictures and fingerprints, was a heavier white woman. I felt extremely uncomfortable, paid and began to leave. Little did she know, my friend was there with me, he was next in line, of mixed race, tall and green mixed colored eyes. He looks more of one race than the other. He also had a black hoodie on. He finished with ease, so much faster than me, zero problems with his photo, fingerprints, nor comments on his dark hair or sweater, nor anything about TSA being created for white people. Cool Black Desk Chair SITREP I was getting tired of the crappy folding chair that I was using at my computer desk at home. I had no intention of getting a desk chair this particular evening, but.... THE SETUP ...as I was tooling down Folsom Boulevard, I looked over and saw this Office Depot that I had randomly stopped at about eight (8) years ago hoping to find - and did acquire - an iPhone sync cable that I had lost to my then iPhone 5. I remembered that Office Depot was certainly a good spot to find a basic variety of office equipment, and so spontaneously decided to start pricing varieties and styles of chairs, because I like to research things I am going to by, and don't like to be impulsive in buying things. Well, that disciplined thought lasted all of two (2) minutes after I walked into the store. PRIOR RESEARCH Okay. Since I'm NOT always impulsive, I had been checking out chairs online. I liked the much vaunted - late night commercials - X-Chairs with their ergonomic lower back supports and high-back neck-rests. But I wasn't looking to spend $400 to $700 (tax and shipping included). Costco offered some variety of chairs, but I basically had just filed those away in my mind for the time being. So this is to say by the time I was here at Office Depot, I already had some information on which to make comparisons and some yardsticks from which to measure a decision on what products I found here. AMAZING SERVICE. Alexandra went completely above and beyond, and she's the MAIN reason I'd absolutely recommend this Office Depot, especially for printing jobs! I put in a pretty last-minute order for 100 flyers and a poster backed with foamcore. I needed it by the next morning, but it wasn't guaranteed until much later. Concerned about whether it would be done on time or not, I called and Alexandra answered. And when I say she answered, I mean she answered my PRAYERS. She said it would be a bit iffy for me to get it on time because of the 24-hour turnaround, but she would spend the last hour of her shift working on it. Years back this printing department was wonderful, and the employees experienced, efficient and always helpful. Since Covid those employees have left, and the turnover was often. Today I came in, and was helped by Fae. Breath of fresh air!!! Kind, and happy to help. He seems to enjoy his job and is a wonderful employee. After several trips through the years to this Office Depot, it's about time I put in my praise. I can't get too excited about the very non-sexy topic of chain office supply stores, but within that realm this particular store is doing a bang up job. I usually coast in for a few odds and ends after eating in the shopping center. They keep the shelves neatly organized and fully stocked. I've never encountered an employee who doesn't have the answer to my questions - a good sign that employee training is consistent and on point. I especially give them props for remaining open in the time of the corona virus. I tried my local mom and pop office store first and, understandably, they were closed. This review is for photo developing only... I have been testing out different companies for photo developing (I take photos as a hobby and have been known to sell some and enter them in fair competitions). I chose Office Depot as one option. The photos came out pretty well, but my main complaint is that the photo developing is not actually done at the store. I submitted my photos online and received an email telling me that they were done. However, that meant they had been developed elsewhere and were mailed to this location. From submission online to arrival at the store was 6 days. I consider the turn around for this incredibly slow considering how many places have 1-hour photo these days. I didn't realize this was the case until after I submitted the photos for printing. As I said, they came out alright (not the best of the different companies I've tested) and the price was reasonable, but it's SUPER slow. As for the location of this store, the parking lot is pretty horrible and the parking spaces are narrow. Whoever designed this lot should be fired. Plus, you can only turn to the right from any exit, so you have to meander down the street to make a U-turn if you want to go the other way. read more

I can't believe they can get away with this! I just purchased some ink for my printer. HP 62xl black and HP62xl tricolor. The price on the shelf said $32.99 for black and $37.99 for the tricolor. I took the slips of paper from under the signs to the cashier and was charged $41.99 for black and $45.99 for tricolor. I told them I thought it was $30 ish dollars. Clerk told me these are the XL packs. I purchased and went back to the isle where the price is listed. I took a picture and showed the clerk. She enlarged the pic and said that's the price for the Office Depot ink. But when you bring the slips from under those signs to the front they give you HP ink and charge you HP prices. There was no listed price for the HP brand. Check for yourself. Look at my picture. How much do you think the HP ink cartridges are? I feel totally cheated. I will never go back. Okay so the Office Max on Arden Way has this guy in the printing Department named Michael, he is such an awesome person. He's very helpful, very nice, very knowledgeable and was very eager to just help me with everything and anything. I loved his enthusiasm, his customer service skills are impeccable when he's helping the customer he gets so involved that he has to sometimes excuse himself to make sure that he is paying attention to all the other customers in his Department. which I totally respect and agree with however he always comes back to checks up on me and helps me with whatever else is going to happen next he is awesome worker and if they ever let him go they will be so sorry for that he's a great guy and I can't wait to have to go back to Office Depot to do something else in printing read more

Wow, poor service. I stood at the mail center for a while and was ignored. I had to walk over to the front checkout counter and ask the girl for help. She walked over and said, "I don't know how to do mail stuff." I asked if someone did who could help me. She said no. No one was working right now. I just stood there and refused to move until a manager came forward. He helped me out. However, it took 15 minutes to mail three letters. They were already in manila mailing envelopes, they were pre-addressed and a return address. All I needed was for them to be weighed and stamped. I came in at 4:50 p.m. The mail pick up was at 5. The US Postal Service came and went and I was still waiting for this guy to type some type of essay into the computer. Finally, he printed out three slips. He then inserted the slips into weather-proof plastic bags and stuck them on the original envelopes. Seriously, all I needed was postage to send three letters. I was out of there at 5:10 and super annoyed. I had three sheets of paper stapled to a receipt. Ridiculous. read more
