This is a pretty big location with friendly staff members that will make your shopping experience smooth. There are a few fitting room in the middle of the store so when it's busy it might be a wait. The selection is a tiny bit limited. Lots is items have missing sizes that would have to be ordered online. When there is a missing size, staff would help look online and order for you. The quality of items are a little inconsistent. Some things are absolutely indestructible, but some shine two sizes in wash. So it's gonna be a gamble haha. We happened to be in the area and needed some new, warm clothes for an up coming trip. Sports wear was our main goal and I was pleasantly surprised to find there was clothing and accessories that drew my interest right away. Joe K and I were wandering the store and found some nice items at reasonable prices and even some tempting sales going on! There was a lot of variety in casual and sports wear throughout the store. I found a pair of leggings and sweat pants for myself. Unfortunately Joe couldn't find a water repellent jacket in his size. There was only one style that he liked, but nothing in XXL. They do have signs posted in the store that if they don't have your size available, you can arrange to order your preference and have it shipped to your home at no additional charge. I tried to convince my BF to inquire about this, but he prefers to try things on at the store before purchase. I'm like that too, but it's nice that Old Navy offers this option! THE SETUP Case-In-Points: * My favorite tennies are SKECHERS, and I usually only trust to find both the size and models I want at the Skechers at the Factory Outlets in either Folsom or Vacaville - at least 25-30 miles in either direction from my Midtown Sacramento home. * My favorite Jockeys are at the same factory outlets, except my need to get underwear most of the time is not at the same time I need to update m Skechers. [But luckily shoes & underwear aside, every other clothing item is usually someplace within Sacramento.] * My Black Dickies utility short-sleeve shirts I either have to go to Target or WalMart [OR online, but I don't like shopping for clothes - especially tees and shirts - online.] Same with socks, and jackets, and dress shirts, and dress pants, etc. etc. etc. JC Penneys, Burlington North, Costco, REI, etc.etc. So again, shopping is never convenient for me. Plenty of parking spaces in the shared lot. Clean interior. A little busy in the late afternoon on a weekend. Hand sanitizer available, but the staff don't wear masks. I like that they have a price-checker in the store. A lot of the clothes are expensive. I browsed some of their coats, some of which were $80 at regular price. A thin poncho was $30. Their basics are affordable. The clearance racks are messy. The women's graphic tee selection is pitifully lacking in taste. The men's section has a bit more variety but is also lacking. The placement of their tags is somewhat questionable. On a coat, it was under the armpit; on a poncho, it was attached to the bottom. If the tag placement could be more uniform across different clothing items, it would make for a better customer experience. read more

My first time inside an Old Navy! This review is for the one by Arden Fair Mall. Lots of parking, easy to find. The store is HUGE!! Right when I walked in it felt cheerful and fun and clean. Fully stocked everywhere and people folding and stocking while I was shopping. I had two items I specifically wanted and they had both in my size so that was a win!! Dressing rooms are clean and getting in and out was easy. The employees were friendly and helpful. There was a very long line to check out and it took a while - but again - everyone was super cheerful and friendly so I didn't mind. Prices are reasonable and fair. They have tons of cute shirts and jammies for Christmas with festive sayings. Great place to buy presents too. read more

First time to this location. Same layout as the Old Navy in Natomas. So, I expected nothing out of the norm. Super long check out lines!!! Little to no customer service. Typical Old Navy store. What made this trip worse was their price check scanners in this store! Out of 4 that I saw, 1 worked! I was getting so frustrated walking back and forth trying to get prices on items, to find it not working, just plain annoying!!! How come you have all this technology, and it doesn't work?! This will be my last and final trip to any Old Navy stores. I've never had a pleasant shopping experience with Old Navy, their clothes don't last long. The kid's shirts are made for shorter torso, my kids have longer torso, so it never fits well. Baby items are overpriced! That is why I shop at the outlets for baby items, it's cheaper than Old Navy and last longer. Old Navy has many stores in suburban Sacramento. This location is near Arden Fair in the same power center as Kohl's and Olive Garden. Parking is abundant and convenient to the other stores. Their clothing is fashionable and cheap. Some of the quality can suffer with minor imperfections in stitching, but I find them to be a great value. They are aggressive with sales and coupons so sign up for emails and rewards for the best deal. Kids clothing is a great option here too. Old Navy is the cheaper cousin of Gap which is the cheaper cousin of Banana Republic. Finding your size can be a challenge, but you can still look like a million bucks for a lot less here. read more

There were 6 people in line before me for the fitting room but the girls running itnwere prompted and made the transitions quick and easy. I ended up with a pair of shorts which were on sale for $11. I was pleasantly surprised with the price. I did try on a dress that smelt like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes in it so I hope that they start having a better return policy and check the clothing. I had a hard time finding shorts in my size. It seems that they carried 0-10 and everything else was very sparse. Dana helped me out at checkout and was super friendly and relatable. This is one of the better Old Navys in the area. I usually go to the one in Natomas, but the parking lot is a nightmare. The last choice was the ON on Howe, but that's long gone and good riddance. This ON seems larger than most, and it's newer, so it still seems shiny and organized. The customer service there has been great, too. I've been three times in the last ... 2 months, let's say, so I don't seem like a shopaholic (I'm really not). One of these occasions, I was trying to find a hat I could wear to colder/rainier areas and there was one that an employee knew existed. We walked all over the store and couldn't find it, but it was nice of her to drop what she was doing and look for me. Not all employees would have done that. This will definitely be my go-to Old Navy from now on. Ample parking, great service, and decent selection. read more

I'm totally and completely in love with this location! It's next to Arden Fair Mall -- so you can do major damage to your credit card, or just pop in for a quick window shopping session. The parking lot is huge -- so don't worry about getting caught in car exhaust. You'll be fine, I promise. I've been here twice and feel like this is my spot. I will admit that I went here on a whim, as I haven't willingly gone into an Old Navy since freshman year of college. To me, it had the perception of being too young. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a shirt folding employee. I started wandering through checking out this and that and while I was doing it I blinked and I was in the kids department. What in the hell happened in here? This location has about 20% guys clothes 30% kids and 50% women clothes. Not only that buy half the racks were empty or about half of the section itself was the sale area. There was pretty much nothing in here except for the serious basics. They had more undershirts than actual clothes you wear in public. What a waste of my time. I suppose if you are a woman there will be plenty for you here. I prefer this new location, as the old store on Howe & Hurley was very cramped and that parking lot was a nightmare to navigate. Now their parking lot has plenty of space and their store (which, as a slight downside, now is a carbon copy of every other Old Navy store) is now very well-lit and spacious with plenty of room for more stock. I guess Old Navy is simply OK to me because their stock is never very thrilling. Old Navy is great when I need a buttonup shirt or slacks for work or possibly some simple gym duds. Their clothing has never really thrilled me with design, color, originality, etc. But it's good quality clothing that won't break your bank, so it's a great place to stock up on basics. I like old navy and I like this physical location.. the service was great during Covid curbside pick up. I went here recently and had a different experience. whoever the worker is on the floor can be a "bug a boo." I like to shop for clothes as retail therapy and to relax but it gets annoying when the same worker keeps asking if I am ok or if I am finding everything ok. I know it's their job but just chill. She runs the place very nicely and one can tell the employers all love working with her. The time I've been there she is quick to not only check in with the customers but also with her employees, something that is seldom seen in retail now a days. This in turn leads to excellent customer service. DO NOT GO TO THE ELK GROVE STORE! They are rude as hell, messy displays and super crowded all the time. You are better off in this one. They have a good range selection and sizes. Their clearance is always poppin' too. When you are in line to pay, do yourself a favor and take out your cellphone.
