While browsing I did spot a reasonably priced desk that I wouldn't mind purchasing once my current one is worn out. They also had a couple desk chairs that were reasonably priced and several desk chairs that were extremely overpriced. Ok the tall medium built black lady that "works" at this location is getting paid to show up & that's all. I've been here several times & she NEVER helps & is always in a bad mood. Even when she sees the line of people waiting she doesn't assist or ask anyone what they're needing or waiting for etc. Also, the foreign guy that looks to be around 50 years old or so with glasses isn't very helpful or friendly either. He walks right by people who are in need of assistance. I understand there's work to be done in the printing department but you can't ignore the customers who are physically in the store just because you have orders you need to work on. read more

I'm very disappointed with the customer service at the Office Depot Print Center. My wife arrived at 8:30 AM and was told by the employee that her order would be ready in 30 minutes due to six orders ahead of hers. When I came back to pick it up over three hours later, the same employee (black lady) rudely informed me that it was still not ready and that she would "do a courtesy pull" -- again stating there were six orders ahead. Not only was this inconsiderate and frustrating, but the employee's dismissive attitude made it clear that customer service is not a priority at this location. We do not live close by, so this ended up being a complete waste of time and gas. I expected more professionalism and basic courtesy. This experience has left a very negative impression, and we'll be taking our business elsewhere in the future. read more

Customer service in the printing department is HORRIBLE! The two women just talked about customers the WHOLE time. Ordering the prints took way longer than it needed to, and then ended up picking up pixilated prints. The girl said she noticed the quality when she started printing, even though the file looked totally different, but‍ that that's what she was given! That's the perfect example of their customer service. Bare minimum at best! Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10 miles to Summerlin! They are fantastic there and their quality of work is amazing! Don't bother talking to the manager, he knows nothing and just smells ashtray of cigarettes. Basically, go anywhere but here! read more

Scheduled a TSA pre check appointment here. Jolly Josh was so helpful and positive. He made the quick process simple & painless. He even hooked me up with a great coupon to purchase some goods before I left. I was told I would get a TSA precheck number within 5 days. It has been 2 weeks and I haven't heard a thing. I spoke to Josh on the phone to ask if they help with printing. He directed me to email officedepot@printme.com. He told me when I come in store I will receive a code and to type it into the machine. It will then show me what documents I sent over and I can control my printing from there. I entered the store and Ed was at the printing center but he pointed me to the place I needed to go to. I did exactly as Josh instructed me to do and it went the way he described. To begin I had to scan my debit card and type my PIN in. It placed a $5 hold onto my card which would allow me to print as much as I needed to, up to a charge of $75. Another employee, I didn't catch her name but she was a tall black woman, had to step in to help me copy some things. My machine malfunctioned so she had to reboot it and she brought me over to another machine where she continued to help me. After printing and copying what I needed I was all fine and ready to head out. Thank you so much to the staff here! Every person I encountered was helpful and friendly. This was my first time ever in Las Vegas that I needed to print important documents. Now I know I can come here for all the rest of my business needs. read more

I made a large printing purchase online and chose a type that I hadn't used before. What I imaged it would be and what it actually was were two different things. That's no one's fault but my own. I called in and asked to laminate what just been shipped to me. To be fair, I was a little (probably a lot) complain-ey about the thickness of what I ordered. (again, my fault). I didn't ask for anything for free, I was just a little obnoxious (probably a lot) but the gentleman I spoke to on the phone patiently listened to me, then went and asked for a discount for me. That was really unexpected. Even more helpful was that he rushed through the lamination so I would have them for the next day. This guy really made sure that I was taken care of, my laminated copies look beautiful, and I feel pretty loyal to Office Max in general now. We will be printing with them again. I asked for help 3x and she just handed me a business card and told me to figure it out. I kept experiencing and issue with the 4 large documents I needed to print and when she finally came to look it over and realized the information she gave me actually didn't help. At that point I was so annoyed I took my things and left, I would rather go to a FedEx and have them print documents for me. I came today to pick up printed files and realized i was missing one but it was a mistake on my end. I noticed around 6pm and started to freak out because i have a presentation in the morning at 10am. I called and spoke to an agent who said if i get it in before 7:30pm he will help me get it printed and ready . His name is Martin and he truly saved me !!! He was Looking out for my order and noticed it hadn't came in and called me ! Turned out that paying with PayPal delays the receiving on their end and with the order number he was able to get it. What an awful experience! I went to get only 3 notebooks created for an event and after approving the designs and checking in at the kiosk I waited for the text saying "my orders ready" after waiting over an hour I came back in the store just to be notified the associate "shredded the books" because he didn't "see me." I never received a text or call about anything. When I asked for the books to be made again, the associate said it wasn't enough time and I can come back Thursday. Days later??? What kind of horrible customer service is this? The manager Mike stated he would provide a discount for the mistake and assured they could be made the next day before my event. In need of a nice backpack to carry a laptop, and a 3pound 3 ring binder among the little other things. Walking in was so nice and quiet. We were greeted by a guy MIKE. He smiled so bright and asked how he could help. He pointed me the direction I needed and off I went. I found a couple I liked, but due to people being people, they had security ties on the zippers. I brought to him what I liked and he removed the tags so I could open it up and see if my stuff would fit comfortably. He helped me to fit the huge binder in it. PERFECT! And it was on sale for $140. Then I decided to look at laptops. He again was able to answer ALL my questions. Unfortunately I have to go to another location but that's ok. MIKE is the engagement operations MANAGER.! Came here a couple of weeks ago to get a new office chair. Found one that I loved, but it wasn't on the floor for easy purchase, and I needed to get an employee to find it in the back. Had to ask multiple employees for help, and was hit with, "Oh, that's not my job" or "Sorry, I'm not trained to grab stuff from the back." In some cases, I understand, but I was a bit taken aback at the fact that none of these employees offered to find someone who COULD assist me. Not until a young gentleman with glasses finally went looking for me, because I obviously was not going to know who to ask. Finally got my chair pulled and the gentleman with glasses ended up ringing me up and apologized for the inconvenience. Had it not been for him, I probably would have had a bitter experience; thank you for making the end of my trip better! He even went above and beyond to load the chair into my trunk. read more

I wish that I was corresponding under different circumstances; however, that is not the case. As a native to South Florida, I literally have had decades of good experiences with Office Depot. My most recent bad experiences revolve around the opening of a new office, where I ordered $11,000 + of computers and in addition thousands of dollars worth of office supplies and furniture. The filing cabinet arrived damaged and that was fiasco; however, the best was the computer issue, whereafter paying for the computers and being told before I paid they would arrive from California on Friday, I was thereafter told it would be Friday two (2) weeks later delaying my ability to open the office and wasted my time during the period rent was abated. More insult to injury, after waiting two (2) weeks, I was told it would be another ten (10) days. Then, finally, I was told after the ten (10) days they would not be able to deliver the computers I had already paid for EVER. Getting my money returned was another pain in the ass and I had to threaten litigation to get my money returned and on the final day of my warning after I had already drafted the lawsuit, magically, the money was finally returned to my account, (after I had already wasted more time drafting the lawsuit). Add that to the delivery of damaged goods and you can see how the relationship is souring. I simply stopped going to your store in Boca Park, Las Vegas, Nevada. But today's insult really takes the cake. There is never a valid excuse for bad customer service. I made the mistake of going to an Office Depot for the very last time. Arroyo Grande Shopping Center, Las Vegas, Nevada I went in today for a small print project as a follow up to my visit last week July 29, 2023 @ 1:20pm. There was one customer at the counter and when I went to the counter (this young black woman, ("stated for identifying purposes only")) told me there was a sign in procedure, that didn't exist last week when I was there and I was told I had to sign in to get assistance, NOW after a gentlemen signed in after I arrived, giving preference to your new policy over valuing my time having arrived prior to the aforementioned customer. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND HAS COST YOU MY BUSINESS FOREVER . . . To disrespect my valuable time in favor of the person that entered the store after me, because of some "Bull Shit" new policy, (as the new policy only seems to be for your benefit and does not provide the consumer with any obvious benefit) and as such is not acceptable . . . especially with the condescending tone and attitude of your print shop gal, responding is such a way so as to make me feel IU am being punished for not being aware of your new policy (announced among the throng of signs). Your gal should have advised me that in my future visit I should sign in first before going to the counter. But that was not the posture and I was being punished for not following your "new bull shit" internal policy requiring me to sign in before I attempt to give you my business. . . Well have no worries, you will never hear or see from me again . . . ever!!! Office Depot and its policies are in conflict with a little thing known as Customer Service and you have failed me over and over again and now for the very last time. P.S. the black gal's tone was purely punitive and could care less about providing customer service. She reminds me of someone employed in a government position, with union benefits, and it would take an act of Congress to remove that person from employment. I can tell you that as the Chief Legal Officer to a company that operates its offices in 38 states and has more than 2,000 agents, my message will be loud and clear . . . DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH OFFICE DEPOT/OFFFICE MAX, and that goes for my offices as well. It feels like you're creating an experience that is anti Customer Service, or perhaps it's just your Southern Nevada stores that focus on pissing off your customers by delivering the very worst possible consumer experience. Nothing about today's experience was inviting or welcoming and I promise I will spend more with every Office Depot competitor from this day going forward as a direct result of your company's adverse history with me over the past year. What horrible customer service . . . Your brand, Office Depot/OfficeMax used to be a weekly part of my weekly routine, purchasing one thing or another; but from this day forward I will be proud to share my message with everyone and anyone that asks. . . Tech Services to the Rescue!!! My boyfriends phone has had a cracked screen for months. We went to Apple and they said it would be a couple hundred dollars. My boyfriend politely declined and said he'd rather try and see through the cracks then pay that. Fast forward to December 2019 when I'm making Office Depot runs for some projects and I see a sign for tech services. First off, I didn't even know this was a thing. Secondly, IT WAS A DEAL. For the phone he had, it would usually be $99.99, but the deal had it be $74.99. That is at least 50% cheaper then what Apple had previously said. Well New Year, New Screen was his motto and we went down there to see what the situation was. Ivan was beyond helpful. He explained the process and we sat there for the quick paperwork. He was so efficient and detailed we were thrilled. The store was busy so he let us know we might wait a bit, so we gave my phone number and went and ran errands. Within an hour he called and said the phone was read to go. The phone truly looks as good as new. We are grateful for tech services and beyond grateful for Ivan and his customer service today. read more

This is the 2nd time in 2 days I have come here for help to print. The first was mid day and today is early morning. Each time it was quiet, barely any customers. Jeff at the front greeted me with a smile and did his best to welcome me in. I had to check in at a kiosk to wait to be helped when I was the only 1 there.. ok. (I get that part for orders) I needed help with a creating my order and expressed that. While I was helped to a degree better than yesterday, I was not able to go online & complete this project to the degree I needed. I needed further instruction. While I realize we are all surrounded by computers for everything, not every one has complete knowledge of every area. If someone asks for help & is continuing to struggle, I feel that help, patience & guidance with finishing the project should be offered if possible, especially when the store is empty. I didn't finish my project because I wasn't offered the help I needed nor did I feel comfortable in asking for more. I will not be back here in the future, for anything . read more

Had a document printed on small pages for a project at another Office Depot location on Craig with no problem. I then had 3 of my friends come to this location on arroyo to have the same thing printed which they did with no issue. I go in today to get the same thing printed again and the girl behind the counter said that they do not do that... weird.. even when I showed her proof of the document she said they don't do it.. EVEN after I told her 3 people have had it printed at her location she still just threw her hands up being completely useless. this review is only for the print center. dear office max print center, what? i don't understand how you can be inside of an office supply store and have the worst paper cutter of all time. couple that with the fact that at any given time at least one of your self service copy machines are down (two when i wrote this review!) and it's actually mind blowing. please fix your machines, either sharpen the blade to your paper cutter or get a new one, and just generally clean the place up. it's depressing. read more

I came to office max and purchased some items. After a couple days of not finding it I called the store up to see if I had maybe left it behind. A lady got my info and receipt number (thank God they email receipts). Not long after I got a call back saying she watched the surveillance video and I put the bag of products at the bottom of my stroller. Needless to say that's where I found it!
