I've been coming to this office for I would say 5+ years now. The level of care and attentiveness has always made me feel comfortable to come to the office and I don't think I can ever recall a time I've had a bad experience. Jessica has always been welcoming and accommodating when coming and leaving the office. Always full of smiles and reassuring. The office is absolutely fortunate to have her as a team member. The times I've been assisted by Louisa I've never felt tension or nerves which has been great. She shows professionalism and genuine care whenever I've been assisted by them. Any time I am under the care of Dr. Soto I know I'm going to receive amazing care, and I don't think anyone could ask for more. The entire team's professionalism, expertise, and genuine and gentle approach especially for people who can be a little nervous when going to the dentist, has definitely calmed my nerves and actually makes me look forward to coming to the office. As someone who has already previously had orthodontic treatment as a teenager, but needed treatment again, I wanted to find an orthodontist that would make sure that this would be the last time I needed Invisalign. I knew I had come to the right place when I met Dr. Park! He was very professional, and spent so much time every visit to make sure that my teeth were moving accordingly. However, what really made him an excellent orthodontist is that he listens to the patient. I was told by some orthodontists that I may need jaw surgery, but I didn't want any procedures done. Dr. Park did not force me to do anything I did not want to, and also worked TOGETHER with me to achieve an amazing smile! I am almost done with my treatment now and I cannot recommend him and his team more. I have been going to Dr. Soto for a couple of years now. This review is long over due. But as they say, better late than never. During the pandemic I refrained from going to the dentist. So, needless to say when I finally went my gums were not in the best shape. I had a lot of plaque buildup and I needed a deep cleaning. This required numbing and Dr. Soto went section by section and worked her magic. Manny did my X-rays. He was wonderful and made light conversation which helped ease my nerves. Because dentists work in a very small and sensitive space of the body, a good dentist communicates with their patient(s) during every step of a procedure, making sure they are okay and not in too much pain. Dr. Soto definitely does this. She goes to great lengths to make her patients comfortable and relaxed without pain. The dental hygienist (sorry I don't recall her name) is also great. Very precise and efficiently cleans my teeth every three months. Overall I've had a few porcelain fillings. Needed a crown with Zirconia and had my two front teeth touched up a little. Every visit I left feeling better than when I arrived. So, if you looking for a dentist in the Downey area, look no further. I can assure you you're in good hands. You won't be taken advantage of. So I hate going to the dentist, that being said this place makes going not so bad. From the moment you walk in the ladies make you feel welcomed. They are very polite. I have been looking for a respectful and caring dentist place and after 21 years of my life I found it. Not only are the friendly and actually care to treat you but they make sure you feel safe and comfortable each time before starting any work. Most places get upset that I ask questions but here they are open to explaining and communicating with me. One of the workers, Manny not only does his job efficiently and very well, he also is very kind to his patients. I have visited this office 3 times and not once did they honored my appointment time. I've had to take time off work twice only to wait at least 30 min to be seen. I initially came for a chipped tooth which I was told multiple times would be fixed the day of. After waiting 30 min in the waiting room I only had a cleaning done and was told to return to fix my tooth. When I returned the next day, I was walked into one of the rooms. However, I waited at least 50 min before being seen. The last time I came was a few weeks ago for a toothache. They were able to give me an appointment immediately which I appreciated. I was told that my tooth would most likely be fixed that day. I ended up waiting 50 min and ended up leaving after they couldn't tell me how much longer it would take. I hate going to the dentist as it is and all the waiting makes it worse. Dr Soto is a great dentist. I just wish I spent more time being treated by her than in the waiting room. read more

This week was my first time at Dr. Soto's office. I'll admit I dislike looking for new dentists because I feel I'm going to get ripped off or waste my time for a reason or another. Going in I had my guard up. Everything went well and then the talk about cost came up. Right away I shut down and didn't want to hear it, but I opened up my ears to let the coordinator finish. Going to the dentist is not a place you look forward to going, but coming here was great. The staff is friendly and yet professional. Starting with Jessica at the front desk, she welcomes you and gets you started for your appointment. Louisa took my xrays and she was patient and made me feel at ease. Dr. Soto takes her time to asses what is needed and then makes her recommendations. And can't say enough about Katie. She did a deep cleaning and not once did I feel pain. I'll be the first to admit that I was trepidatious about going into a dental office given the general state of things. But I do have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised as to the cleanliness as well as regulation at this particular dental office. I never once felt uncomfortable, saw all the employees wearing their masks and visors, and felt everything was adequately sanitized. I received a deep cleaning as well as a filling for a cavity and the doctor, xray tech, and dental assistants were all very careful, thorough, and I felt I could trust them to do the job. HORRIBLE, ZERO RESPECT FOR YOUR TIME!! We were happy to find a friendly dentist that my son really liked. Just to be so disappointed at the HORRIBLE customer service standards. They called me the day before my son's appointment and asked if we could go at 10am instead of 11am as it was scheduled. I said Yes, anyway, my son was going to miss school due to his dental app. Well, we got there at 9:53 am, and were walked in to a room right at 10 o'clock. They turned on the tv for my son (he is 11) and we were just waiting, and waiting, and waiting. At 10:53 am I couldn't hold it any longer and left the place. Just told the girl at the front desk about our concernes and she totally failed to even apologize. This is beyond disrespectful and unprofessional!! Place is dirty and small. Virtually no privacy. I could hear everything that was going on with the other patients. Medical equipment is outdated. Dentist was not washing her hands in between patients and was not changing her PPE. Wait times are long. I had to wait for over an hour. read more
