Levi and his crew were outstanding! Snow weight from the last storm caused our deck to collapse and pull away from the house. It also damaged quite a bit of our fencing. Levi was one of the few to call me back, come out for the quote when he said he would and provided additional detail when the insurance adjusters asked. And the work they did was amazing. We have a beautiful new deck, the fence was repaired. I also hired Levi and crew to paint the whole exterior and will have him replace ducting under the house, soaked by the water run off and some other concrete work I need done. Levi did an amazing job on my guest house. Was fast and turned out better than I was expecting.

I can't say enough good about Levi and his merry band of workers with Ogden construction. He came out the day I called and sizes up two big jobs for us; replacing a rotting, failing painted wood front porch and a retaining wall in our back yard that needed to be built to replace long stretches of rotting, failing wood piers and planks. They got to work the very next day, even though the weather was horrendous. Tore out the old deck, added to the support joists, laid down beautiful Trex. Everything was tight, level and professionally done. Onto the retaining wall. We needed three sections added on of interlocking cement blocks, which he tied into the existing stretch of concrete blocks in a beautiful way. Tight, level and solid, with French drain and rock for drainage. Levi was a pleasure to deal with throughout, it was great work for the right price and I highly recommend you use him on your next big project. Think you can DIY it? After I looked at his work, I couldn't have done it and if I would have attempted it it would have taken months and probably looked crappy. Levi Ogden and his team offer exceptional workmanship, at very fair rates. He is extremely ethical, professional and talented, and we are very comfortable having him take on major projects within our home. Most recently, he installed a high-end double wall oven in our Granite Bay kitchen. This is a gorgeous room, with custom cherry cabinets, granite kitchen tops and top notch appliances. The prior oven was a bit smaller, so he had to enlarge and deepen the space .. and he did so in a manner that really looks perfect. Looking at the final result, you would never know that it required significant modification. Similarly, I had him remove a very large, old built-in entertainment cabinet in our family room. This work required installation of new baseboards (matching the rest of the room), removing an old built-in platform, smoothing and patching the walls, and trimming back the stonework in an adjacent fireplace. A less competent contractor would have left us with a result that would have made the modifications obvious to a casual observer. This is where I think Levi's work really shines. The room simply looks like it has "always been" the way we wanted it updated. I know that Ogden construction is capable of taking on much larger projects, including decks and houses. Based on my experience, I would urge you to consider working with them, be it on a smaller modification, or a larger construction effort. You will be as pleased as I am. read more
