The family and I decided try this new spot based on facebook suggestions. Restaurant sits right on Sunset Ave in downtown Asheboro beside Taco Loco. This restaurant has been open since December. Upon walking in you are greeted by their nice staff. The smell makes me think of an old building smell and I didn't really smell any food. Carpet is worn and could use some replacing, or better yet just make concrete like the entrance. (In my honest opinion carpet doesn't belong in restaurants!) Decor/seating could use a little updating. Menu has a little bit of everything from subs, and pasta, to Honduran specialties like empanadas and more. I liked the selection. We received complimentary garlic knots with marinara that were delicious! I decided to try the baked spaghetti with meat sauce. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't outstanding either. The noodles weren't drained so my dish was drowning in liquid. My husband and daughter decided to try the cheese burgers with fries. We were disappointed to find the burgers were thin frozen patties. My daughter couldn't eat hers because it was thin and chewy and no flavor. The fries are frozen too and not cooked the greatest. My husband bought the Texas burger which came with barbecue sauce and bacon. His was a thin patty as well. The sauce is what gave it flavor. We really wanted to like this spot. We just weren't blown away. Staff was great, food not so much. Might come back and try Honduran food just to see if that is better.

Found this little spot downtown Asheboro~ Atmosphere is plain but the food makes up for it! They offer America, Italian, & Mexican food...plenty on the menu & family size portions! Definitely try to garlic knots & the cinnamon knots! Staff was so nice as well. Definitely would go back! Casual dress for lunch & dinner/drinks~

I prefer the pork, bean and cheese option but other meats and a veggie option are also available. These are paired with a lightly pickled cabbage slaw. We also had the beef Pastelitos. This crunchy, flaky pastry is stuffed with meat and cheese and is paired with pico de gallo, lettuce and cotija cheese. Delicious handmade sopes and the chicken soup are also a must try. If you want to try some authentic Salvadorian cuisine, La Ceiba is a must try. Don't forget they are cash only. P.S. A brand new Panaderia is opening soon right next door offering a variety of Latin desserts! Watch out S Fulton!

The food is hit or miss, sometimes it seems like someone forgot to season the food entirely. When…read morethe seasoning is right it tastes amazing, but else it's very bland. My biggest problem is pricing from their menu never matches what you end up paying. There's no itemized receipt either and they often end up forgetting items you ordered, but without an itemized receipt you never know if they added the charge without providing the item or not. The ambiguous nature of menu prices lends itself to discriminatory pricing. Unfortunately for that reason I will not be back. Based on the more recent reviews it seems they have chosen to continue this practice of discriminatory pricing. Also, it's cash only so that adds to the headache of how much cash to bring. There's no reason why the owner can't just take a marker or white out and update their pricing, leading me to believe this is intentional.

The signs outside are for both and inside are for El Rincon K-Tracho. It was bad. The waitress was sort of bilingual, but couldn't translate any menu items and was hard to understand. She also was apparently the only waitstaff working and wasn't 21 so we couldn't get margaritas or beer on a Friday night. The meats in the entrees were mostly overcooked, my husband had an entree with multiple meats and said the shrimp were delicious but his steak and chicken were tough and hard to cut with PLASTIC utensils. I ordered tacos with steak for the meat and had to send them back. The meat was so chewy and tough (did I mention I tried to order carnitas and they didn't have them?) and not at all seasoned. I swapped for chicken after the same waitstaff wasn't sure what to do when I told her how bad it was and had to go ask whoever was in the kitchen. The chicken was better, edible and at least had some seasoning on it. The music was so loud we could hardly talk to each other and we were the only ones in there for most of the time so why?? Never again.

It's a small, simple place that's nicely decorated but definitely NOT fancy. In fact, it's a little divey but charming nonetheless! They don't serve alcohol so forget about that. This place is all about the food! I think they have the best pupusas in town! They have a very distinct corn flavor and are always cooked perfectly with a crunch on the outside of them. They are served with pickled onions and shredded cabbage plus a homemade sauce on the side. Outstanding! Everything that I have had here has been great! Some dishes that I will mention are the fried chicken which is as close to homemade fried chicken as you will ever find in a restaurant. If you want great food at reasonable prices in a casual atmosphere than this is your place!

Zero flavor and tough like chewing on a tire! The Yuca hervida was also SUPER DRY and they don't even put garlic over it to give it flavor. I'm not a fan of their coleslaw and their beans are very weird. The pork chop was not terrible but was also lacking seasoning. I don't understand how places like this stay in business, but it's definitely clear that ONLY Hondurans eat here. The server which is the daughter of the owners was VERY,VERY friendly and polite. It's just unfortunate that the food is so terrible. We would never return. And they're BEYOND OVERPRICED!!!

ASHEBORO!! This is your hidden gem if you're looking for authentic handmade Latin American meal…read more Absolutely delicious! ...So let me tell you about my experience of how I found Rincon Latino. My GF and I are all about trying new places and cuisine from all walks of life. We're sitting here one day looking for places on DoorDash. The first thing that caught my eye was a smaller menu. Which is usually a good sign because that means they're really specialized on the meals they do make which was totally the case with Rincon Latino. The food was fantastic. The pulled pork and stewed chicken were cooked perfectly. Great flavors. The red beans and white rice I can't get enough of. So after ordering about six or seven times from DoorDash we decided this past weekend to officially go to the restaurant and man it could have not been more amazing and entertaining. For our first Yelp experience we pull up to the building and the restaurant is inside a convenience store/ butcher that's also connected to a tire shop. . There is only a few tables and 2 to 3 people working the kitchen. We immediately told the young lady working the store and on the kitchen how much we have loved their food. She seemed surprised and humbled but also very appreciative. So this time we ordered the tacos the papuas and a bowl beef and vegetable soup that they only serve on the weekends. Would loveed sitting there watching them hand make everything and once again absolutely delicious. I seriously highly recommend this place. It's the kind of place that if you really have some money you wish you could help them take off into something bigger because it's so great. So hey if you're looking for a great dinner a good cut of beef and a family owned and operated Latino grocery store and possibly need your tires rotated. Definitely go check them out!!
