Burger was okay, it didn't wow me but it wasn't bad. The service was great! I got the breakfast burger. It had an egg and avocado in it. It had some tomato jam in it which made the burger taste more interesting.

There aren't a lot of reasonably priced eateries in the village AND Oh G burgers is the best!!! The fries are good too. Parking can be a challenge but the venue is nice. They have beer too! Check it out.

Came back. Tried the Warrior. Delicious ! The egg on the Warrior looks so enticing... so perfect... it's oh so delicious ! It took a long time to get our food. They were understaffed. But it's Christmas Eve and they were one of very few restaurants open. Gotta be grateful.

Met some friends here on a Sat night around 5:30. It was pretty empty. Order at the counter. Lots of tables downstairs and more upstairs so a good place to have a conversation wih friends. I had the Monclair Burger came with grilled cheese, mushroom and carelized onions. Friend had the Caesar Salad. Portions are very good size. Love me a generous portion of tater tots! Burger very tasty - not too big but could order a double or triple. Staff was super nice, especially the young lady. EEven though she didn't have to, she brought all our food and drinks out to us. Service with a smile! Very reasonable prices, great service, good food. What more could you want?

This is my second time coming here and the food remains tasty. Staff and Service: - Order at the register and they'll bring your order to you Food: - Single burger: I ordered this last time and it was tasty again. Comes with their sauce (not ketchup and mustard) - Cobb Salad: I felt this was better last time. The lettuce this time was a little sad / wilted. Miscellaneous: - Parking available via street parking and a parking structure around the corner - Restroom located upstairs - Booths and tables available inside (not good for very large groups)

I found out about this place through a yelp event and could not go because I was sick. But they were always on my mind, I love the story, it sounded like they had great food, and they had a gluten-free bun. So I was all in and wanted to go. I was disappointed that I could not make the yelp event, but I was confident that I would have a time to go there and enjoy my burger. I did enjoy my burger. And despite the description, it was a burger. They said it was a Smashburger and that's probably the case, but nothing was special about it. I went into the location and they were a little hard to find, but I managed. But that wasn't why they lost stars. The problem is that the burger is only OK. I paid way too much money for a burger. That was just OK. The place that makes the burgers has a really beautiful ambience and I love the art on the walls and the truth of the matter is that I wanted to like them way more than I did. I don't think I would be back cause it's kind of out of my way and I was driving by , but my experience did not match my expectations and so I would say this is a no for me. I probably won't be back!

I came in around 11:45 am on a Sunday with a party of 4. Order at the counter and wait for your food. The service from ordering to getting the food along with clearing the table was awesome! As for the food, I got the triple burger wrapped in lettuce. The burger Pattie's were seasoned very well and tasted good. The burger was messy and had a pool of oil of dripping out but that's expected for a burger. The tater tots were nice and crispy. The onion rings had a nice crunchy batter to them. Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu. Plenty of seating Street parking and garage around the corner

I drove all the way From Castro Valley to try Oh G Burger!!!! When I arrived my Dreams of trying a Smash Burger were Dashed!!! Their Point Of Sale System was DEAD!!! They could only Except Zelle !!! Which I don't do!!! They couldn't even expect CASH !!! What a Shame!!! So Oh G Burger is NOT A Baller On A Budget Approved Establishment!!! I keep my Pimp Hand Strong!!

    Classic Smash burger. Delicious!

Quality burger and easy to order online for pickup. My friend lives pretty close to here and she brought me. I wanted the ground short rib burger - it really hit the spot. Friendly service and a cute spot to eat at! There are tables outside too but make sure to order at the window or online :) Parking is metered street parking, but can find some neighborhood parking a block or so away~

maybe it's just a "me thing" but i love cheese curds. I went full on America and got a burger with a side of curds and Animal Style Fries because where else could you get that kind of meal? Everything was crisp, hot, fresh, cheesy, flavorful and OH YEAH I GOT A MILKSHAKE. My doctor would not approve of this meal but my tummy sure did and while it'll take a few days to work it off... it was worth it. Service is quick and simple as you just pay and sit and they bring it to your table so it was a peach to order. The decor is a nice throwback i love the art on the walls, its giving old burger shop but with an edge unique to Oakland.

Food is awesome! My daughter request that we come visit am Oh G to get her burger fix this is in a very cute, safe neighborhood. Street parking was fairly easy to find. The tater tots were the best we EVER had! Very tasty, season, tastes so fresh like eating a freshly baked potato but in tater totally form! Definitely will order this again. The burger-delish as expected, nice grill flavor, meaty, caramelized onions were so awesome. I'm not a burger person, but Oh G Burger has converted me!

Right when you walk in, the vibe feels welcoming and easygoing--perfect for groups or even a casual solo stop. The space has a great indoor/outdoor setup, so you can choose between a lively indoor atmosphere or a more relaxed patio feel depending on your mood. There are also a few TVs around, making it a solid spot to catch a game while hanging out. What really stood out was their impressive selection--30+ beers and seltzers on tap, with a little bit of everything for all tastes. Whether you're into hazy IPAs, crisp lagers, or something lighter like a seltzer, there's plenty to explore. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to walk us through options and offer recommendations without any pressure. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. On top of that, they also stock a nice variety of bottles and cans in the fridge, which is great if you want to try something different or grab something to-go. It adds a bit of a curated bottle shop feel to the experience. They also serve some light bites like empanadas and pizza, which paired well with the drinks and made it easy to settle in for a while without needing to leave for food. It's not a full restaurant, but definitely enough to keep everyone satisfied. Overall, this is a great spot to kick back, celebrate with friends, or just explore new craft beers. Easygoing atmosphere, solid drink selection, and friendly service--definitely a place I'd come back to.

I got the cherry sour which was very sour and fruity - a little surprising (in a good way), delicious, and refreshing. I ordered the fish and chips but wanted a vegetable so I also got the melon and tomato salad. I'm a sucker for flan so I also had to try that. The fish and chips were perfect and piping hot and crispy. The salad was unfortunately a little disappointing; neither the melons nor tomatoes tasted very ripe so the whole salad was just a bit lacking in flavor. The flan also had a sliiiightly overcooked texture, but was overall pretty good, with a well-executed caramel sauce. Portions are also very generous!

Unfortunately, the execution didn't match the ambition. Let's start with the atmosphere. The restaurant presents itself as upscale dining, but there were multiple TVs throughout the dining room blasting a basketball game the entire night. I don't understand the choice. If you're going for a high-end experience, commit to it. The TVs completely distracted from the ambiance and made the whole place feel confused about what it wants to be. The food itself was underwhelming. I ordered a non-alcoholic drink for $10, and it was so packed with ingredients that I could barely drink it through the straw. It felt more like someone was trying to show off than create a balanced beverage. The chicken wings were also oddly served as one large connected piece. While that may be intentional, it made them awkward and messy to eat, especially as a shared appetizer. My entrée was the biggest disappointment. It wasn't bad, but it lacked flavor. It needed seasoning, salt, acidity--something. For a restaurant charging premium prices, I expected dishes that made an impression. Instead, everything felt muted. The most frustrating part of the evening was a menu substitution issue. The dish I ordered came with meatballs. I asked to substitute shaken beef. On the menu, it stated "shaken beef +$12." My assumption was that I was replacing one protein with another and paying an upcharge for the difference. Instead, they simply removed the meatballs, charged me the full additional $12, and gave me the shaken beef. Had the server explained that I would be paying the full upcharge while losing the original protein entirely, I would have made a different decision. Maybe I would have kept both. Maybe I would have ordered something else. The point is that nobody explained it. At this price point, that level of communication matters. Then came the bill. We ordered two appetizers, four entrées, one glass of wine, and three non-alcoholic beverages. At the end of the meal, everyone at the table guessed what the total would be. The highest guess was $150. The actual bill was $251 before tip. Nobody was shocked because it was expensive. We were shocked because the experience, food, and service simply didn't justify the price. I don't mind paying premium prices when the food is memorable and the service is thoughtful. Unfortunately, this felt like a restaurant charging luxury prices while delivering an experience that was, at best, average. Beautiful space. Confusing atmosphere. Underseasoned food. Poor communication. Very difficult to justify the cost.
