If you're looking for a brewery that's also a beer garden, this is perfect spot. They are located in a business area in Walnut Creek, so we didn't see much street parking. However, there is a parking garage, where you can get 1 hr validated parking. Otherwise, it $1.25/30-minutes. They have a spacious outdoor seating area with a cozy fire pit. There's a kiddie play area with chalk and toys, and there's also a 21+ only seating area. Not gonna lie, those toys have seen better days but the kiddos enjoyed playing there. We got there about 15 minutes before opening on a Saturday, and they were nice enough to let us sit in the beer garden. I'm not a beer drinker, but everyone in our party enjoyed the beers. They have a wide variety of beers, and they have wines and cocktails as well. The food menu is pretty limited: it's burgers, a couple sandwiches, and salads. The smash burger was a hit, but they weren't very big. I had the chicken sandwich, which was slathered in mayo, but was quite good. They have 2 appetizers: Pretzel and fries. The pretzels were soft and served with either mustard or cheese. They host watch parties during the World Cup, and we were there 3 hours before the game, and the place filled up quickly as the game approached. There are large TV screens in the patio. Solid place for an after work drink and small bites. I joined colleagues this evening on their outdoor patio. Most of them were well into their second and third drinks, but I needed to stick to one as I was driving home. So I chose carefully, and settled on their Irish Stout, which was just the right amount of bitter, and creamy and smooth, though not as good as my favorite - Guinness. I was here yesterday with a friend to watch the Mexico and Korea World Cup match, and the place had a good vibe. I loved that there were TVs everywhere so we could watch wherever we were. It's a five stars from me! My husband and I met our friend and boyfriend for her birthday here. It was our first time and we seriously had the best time. Our chicken and steak sandwich were delicious and so were the drinks. I loved my beer but I also love that they had N/A available too and other cocktails to choose from. We had been wanting to come here for months, but avoided going becuase we thought it was located in Downtown Walnut Creek (Downtown is a disaster on weekends and parking is a joke). It's NOT located Downtown and there is a parking garage located directly behind the brewery (you have to download an app and enter your personal info, which I really dont like doing) BUT the brewery validates your first hour). Got to the brewery about 20 mins after they opened on a Saturday and to our surprise it was almost empty. This is the best outdoor brewery setup I have seen in the Eastbay. Phenomenal 2 level patio with gigantic fire pits and as dog friendly as you will ever see. Huge screen tv showing football and numerous smaller tvs everywhere. Beer was good (beer menu pretty small), they have sparking wine / champagne and other alcohol drinks. Got the chicken sandwich, fries, and carnitas tacos. Food was surprisingly not overpriced, which is awesome. Loved this place and definitely will come back. Sidenote, while it was empty when we showed up around 1150-noon, they were probably 80% capacity at around 130, so this place gets packed quick. read more

I've been to the Lafayette and Walnut Creek locations a few times now and I'm surprised I haven't done a review here yet. I love that it has such a massive outdoor space and they bring in life music, the food is great, and so is the beer. I almost always have my dog with me and I love even more so that this is a pet friendly establishment! My boyfriend and I do not have kids and don't always care to sit in the main dining area because it is also very kid friendly. I appreciate that this business creates a 2+ zone for us to have our space away from the chaos that kids can bring. That being said, if you have children, this is also a great place for you to bring your kids! Absolutely love the atmosphere here - Great mix of people from young families to couples to folks with their dogs! Just a great crowd! I've been to Headlands many times since this location has opened. I have always had a great experience until tonight. I was with a group of friends and I am currently 8 months pregnant. Headlands has a large menu of non alcoholic beverages, so I ordered a frozen hot chocolate for a little sweet treat. I took a big sip when I received my drink and it tasted bitter, I let my husband try it and he agreed that it was bitter. The waiter ended up telling us he somehow accidentally gave us an espresso martini instead! I was distraught. I have not had a sip of alcohol in almost a year at this point. I am very visibly pregnant, how could this have happened? They claim to be super family friendly here, but what if a child ordered that frozen hot chocolate and got an espresso martini instead? I am just so disappointed, I feel like this is not a safe place to go for non alcoholic beverages. Take your family elsewhere. read more

Glad I read the reviews before we visited! Parking is usually an issue for me. Parking at Pleasant Hill BART Station is free after 3:00pm. This worked out great for our Friday evening visit. The one block walk is a little dark and there isn't much else along the path, so be cautious if choosing to park here alone. The atmosphere was lively as soon as we entered. Not too loud. A host seated us at a shared picnic table which worked out great. Ordering off the QR code on the table also always nice. We were each able to order separately on our own tabs. "I would move to Walnut Creek to be near this Brewery!" I just had to try this new location on a cool Monday holiday. I was afraid of the parking situation, but it turns out there's a parking garage close by. After 3:00, you can also park for free at Bart, just one block away. I checked with the friendly bartender, and she explained that you can get validation for 90 minutes from the nearby parking garage. You order at the front counter, which shows a wide selection of beers of all varieties. Today, I elected a Czech style pilsner for $8. Not too heavy, and just right for a cool winter afternoon. If you want, you can order at your table. Lots of friendly servers to assist. The children have a play area on the lower level, and there is an adults only area on a slightly elevated area.
