This was such a fun experience! Great drinks and great atmosphere. Excellent service. A definite must for Harry Potter fans.

Wizards & Wands absolutely nailed the whole magical tavern vibe. The smoky potion-style drink looked straight out of a wizard lab, and those crispy arancini were dangerously good -- crunchy outside, rich and cheesy inside, buried under enough parmesan to make zero apologies. The atmosphere pulls you in immediately with the dark lighting, themed decor, and cocktails that feel more like spells than drinks. One of those spots where you end up taking photos of everything before eating it. Easy 5 stars.

My family and I went to Wizards and Wands for an early dinner and it was our first time dining here. I'd heard good things about the ambiance and it did not disappoint! It truly felt magical in there and it was very cute overall. We got some of their cocktails and food and the presentation on these were great as well. Our waitress was super nice and answered all of our questions and gave us a bunch of recommendations so service was a 10/10. Definitely a must go if you like Harry Potter or just want to go to a fun bar!!

Came here for a girls' night because we were curious about the wizard theme. If you're into Harry Potter, it might be up your alley, but temper expectations. Aside from themed decor and ceiling projections, there isn't much actual "wizardry." It would be fun if they leaned into it more, like with sorting hat moments, a house quiz, something interactive, but as is, the experience feels pretty minimal. Food was just okay. When you see "Liquid Nitrogen Hot Cheetos" listed as an appetizer, it should be a red flag. Fries: sidewinders dusted with Hot Cheetos seasoning. The Hot Cheeto seasoning wasn't listed on the menu and I wouldn't have ordered them had I known. Fries were okay, but not very crispy, and the seasoning was a miss. Sprout's Summer Salad: caprese-style with heirloom tomatoes, basil, and burrata, fresh and probably the best thing we ordered. Sorcerer's Salad: cabbage, mint, cilantro, avocado. Honestly tasted like a bagged Safeway salad with avocado added. Pretzels: $14 for three, which made them awkward to share. Service was mixed. Our first server (did not catch her name, but she had just moved here from Texas) was warm, welcoming, and great. Midway through, servers switched and the second was noticeably short and curt/ not very welcoming, and the vibe shifted. All cocktails are batched and can't be modified. We waited about 15-20 minutes just for them to be poured, which felt slow considering they're pre-made, and we were unable to make any changes. The ceiling does a dragon display every ~45 minutes, which was fun and honestly the highlight of the "wizard" experience. Overall, I wouldn't go back unless a friend really wanted to. Fun to try once, but there are plenty of better spots in the city for drinks, food, and atmosphere.

If you're a Harry Potter fan, this is the place for you! An absolutely magically decorated tribute to Harry Potter. The drink menu and food menu is also amazingly curated to make you feel like you're at Hogwarts Sean the bartender is amazing and was really great in suggesting things based on your taste unfortunately, I got there an hour before close. However, I would absolutely go back to spend way more time in the magical world of wizards and wands.

As a big Harry Potter fan, had to check it out. This place was cute. The ceiling was lights like the great hall and it had fairies. It also had a dragon that did a pop up. We just stopped by for drinks and their version of them was fun. The server was super nice too.

Came here with a few girlfriends for a GNO in the city. All of them are into Harry Potter so figured this would be fun to check out! We came earlier in the evening, had a reservation for 4:45 but it was still quiet inside at that time, people could have walked in no problem. By the time we were leaving around 6:30 it def picked up and was busier inside! We each got different cocktails, the Love Potion was a hit. I had the Unicorn Blood because I am sold whenever I see butterfly pea! It was good, and probably the most bang for your buck when it comes to liquid/ice ratio in the drink. We shared tons of appetizers which is a great way to try different items, I really liked the burrata salad with tomato's and the fries were surprisingly good! I'm not too into that type of fry cut, but they were crispy! Overall it's a fun place to check out for drinks!!

This is definitely a cute place to come if you have a group to bring and want a Harry Potter vibe. I ordered a couple drinks which came out really strong and a pot pie recommended by the bartender which wasn't bad. It came out with edible glitter which was really cute, and the puff pastry on top was most enjoyable! I would come back with my Harry Potter obsessed friends for the strong drinks and cute atmosphere!

My friend and I randomly came upon this place on a walk and decided to stop in. The bar is fun, quirky, and unique. It is Harry Potter themed and you can tell by the small details. They have a bar area and a seating/dining area. We only ordered drinks. We both ordered the Love Potions and they were really tasty and refreshing. It was so good we got another round. The bartenders were very funny and nice the whole time we were there. A very casual and relaxed vibe overall.

Absolutely dumbfounded--for all the wrong reasons. Ripped off, gaslit, and nearly burned alive!!! Don't come here they're scammers! The establishment nearly went up in flames while we were attempting to finish our drinks, due to extreme incompetence. Someone had installed Christmas lights connected to a household extension cord outside, plugged into a standard home outlet--during peak storm season and one of the heaviest rain weeks we've had. The smell of burning rubber and smoke coming from the ceiling is something I still remember vividly. The female waitress was polite and helpful, but several male staff members made rude and disrespectful comments about me and my friend, including remarks about our drink orders and our knowledge of craft cocktails. The issue began when the first drink I purchased for my friend tasted overly sweet. While that alone would not have been an issue given the use of syrup, problems arose when I ordered a second drink and specifically asked for a double shot. Despite there being no rush or foot traffic, it took the staff approximately 10 minutes to prepare the drink. During that time, they were visibly arguing behind the bar and making comments about us. Before the second drink was completed or brought to us, I explicitly told them to cancel the order because I could already tell there was confusion and that the situation was being mishandled. Despite this, they proceeded to make the drink anyway and charged me for it. Naturally, if a double shot is ordered, one would expect either a stronger drink or a second drink containing alcohol. Instead, we were served a second drink that contained an extra shot of syrup--not alcohol. One active bartender confirmed this was intentional and claimed it was "normal" to receive a second shot of syrup when requesting a double shot. That explanation is both incorrect and insulting. For context, I am a former bar and restaurant owner, and my friend currently manages a sports bar. Despite our professional experience, the bartenders continued to gaslight us, insisting the drink contained additional alcohol when it clearly did not. After we expressed our dissatisfaction, they brought over a tall glass of vodka that we did not ask for. This shot was supposedly offered "for free," yet I was still charged for it. From the start, staff members also made comments questioning the validity of both our IDs and suggesting we looked too young. I strongly suspect they were hesitant to serve us alcohol at all, given that both drinks tasted overwhelmingly like sugar. This has happened to us before due to our appearance, but dismissing our complaints as "uneducated" is unacceptable--especially considering our industry backgrounds. Claiming that a "second shot" means additional syrup instead of alcohol is misleading and unprofessional. The way this situation was handled--from the drinks, to the charges, to the disrespect, and even the unsafe conditions--was unacceptable. Honestly I paid with a 100$ bill and I noticed the receipt now saying 70$ doesn't make sense. Also please watch out for the other reviews they all say the same thing about the free shots offered by staff which end up being charged for.

Celebrated my best friend's birthday here and the staff were so warm and accommodating. We did an entire murder mystery game and the ambiance perfectly fit the vibe we were going for. The restaurant was decorated so well for Christmas, with the entire ceiling towards the back projected with stars, dragons and more. What a magical place! Truly feels like you're transported to Hogwarts. We all ordered food and drink, and the Wizard's Beer is just like I thought butterbeer would taste like, like rich butterscotch and caramel. It was absolutely delicious. I also ordered the burger, which came with curly fries and everything was delectable. Our group also ordered the arancini, and the prime rib I believe? Everything was so delicious! Definitely a wonderful place for a birthday! Thank you for being so accommodating to us. We had such a fun time!

Fun place for a "Potter" inspired evening. The drinks are fun. Some of the dishes we tried we a bit kitchhy but tasted good. The hummus was fun, served in a clay pot. The service was attentive, however the dragons breath hot Cheetos was a disappointment, the server just tossed the nitrogen filled bag on the table, not a very "immersive" experience.

The drinks here are absolutely lovely and fun -- definitely the kind of place you bring out-of-town guests to impress them with something unique. Go early if you want to snag a table; it fills up fast. We went at 5:30 on a Friday and there were plenty of tables, and when we left, it was packed. The servers are cool and attentive, and the overall vibe is festive. The music adds to the atmosphere, though it can get a bit loud -- sometimes too loud to easily carry a conversation. It's actually really loud in the bathroom area. We'll definitely be back to try the food next time. Based on the drinks alone, it's worth the visit!

Drinks had almost a "watered down" flavor to them, not sure if the bartender was just having an off night or if they got too busy to maintain standards or what happened, but it wasn't a good beverage and certainly not worth the price. Even at 7pm it was packed and could definitely tell people had been there for awhile as there were multiple 20 something year old guys and gals stumbling around, so I guess they found the drinks to their liking (or more likely had so many they really couldn't ascertain the difference). Better drinks and better crowd control and Darling will be just fine. But as I mentioned, they were already packed stem to stern at 7pm so my guess is they're doing just fine already.

The person who states "This is most likely the best restaurant in the world" has to be beyond sheltered; It's not even the best restaurant in the _neighborhood_. The main thing you must understand: the food is "inspired" by Indian food, but it does _not_ taste like Indian food. I suspect its been intentionally watered down to be palatable to milquetoast palettes. We ordered three small plates and the butter chicken as the main. Chicken Tikka Taco. This was greasy to the touch, with chicken and cheese. The dominate flavor is the cheddar cheese. They were trying to be creative but the ultimate effect was similar to a frozen burrito with cheddar cheese and chile verde. If you eat this, close your eyes and imagine a microwaved, frozen burrito..you'll see what I mean. Tandoori Avocado. This features an avocado that's been warmed and covered in a chili sauce. There's a green hummus and a fried dosa crisp. While it sounds wild, once the flavors are mixed together on the plate...the overall effect is that of a green-goddess salad. It's not bad, but its not mind bending. Octopus Xec Xec. The octopous was was cooked nicely and there was a tomato based sauce. Unlike something you'd find in India, it is _not_ heavy on the spices, or tang, or nuttiness. It's just very _neutral_. Butter Chicken. This was the biggest disappointment. I've never had a butter chicken curry that tasted so close to tomato soup in my life. I've eaten tons of butter chicken in my life, hundreds of Indian restaurants. I cannot imagine this was not an intentional choice...It was extremely disappointing. Also, the choice to use chicken breast was poor. Inevitably you get overcooked, chewy chicken pieces. They must have chosen this because (like Disneyland) sometimes you water things down to make it more popular with less adventurous people. The customers next to us (not Indian) kept slathering it on their rice and saying "I can't believe I didn't use to like Indian food!" -- that told me all I needed to know. BTW the naan is insanely bad. They stretched it very thin and then crisped it to the point that it breaks like a cracker. In what world is naan not pillowy and soft? Personally, I was really disappointed with this experience -- the other reviews on yelp are absolute insanity IMO. I know there's a hype train right now -- but someday people will realize this place is not it.
