We each got a boba tea and pho, and then split a dumpling soup. Everything was so hydrating and the pho/dumpling soup were a great pick-me-up with how chilly it was the day we stopped in. Our server was prompt to seat us and refilled our waters whenever we started to get low. The restaurant stayed busy, so it looks like all of the other locals love it just as much as we did. They were dry and the grill pork was like beef jerky. Not good at all. No carrots inside either. The rice noodle bowl had the same dry jerky style pork and shrimp that were overcooked and dry. Lastly the star of the show was the Bahn Mi sandwich which was flavorful and juicy. The best thing I tasted there! Our waitress was a young teen girl who apparently had never been trained as a waitress she was sweet but lack the skill set of a proper waitress. Please train your people. Niceness is not all it takes. They have to know their job. Inside the restaurant the decor had not changed from the previous owners. It was clean and smelled fresh. The condiments on the table looked fresh and well kept. The one strange thing I noticed was a piece of paper origami trash bin on the table with trash hand written on it. What is this?!?! They do sell small plastic table top trash cans. Please fix this. Overall not a bad experience. I will give them another try in the future and do another review. They also had a decent variety of lunch specials. The Sandra I ordered was not on the lunch menu, but I did still get a small side salad and spring roll, which was a nice surprise. The ginger dressing they use is tasty and everything was decently priced. The mid: I went with the roast pork sandwich. Standard bahn mi is on a nice, crusty baguette with pate, meat of choice, pickled veggies and cilantro. I was surprised to see my sandwich came out with leaf lettuce and tomato on it. No pate but some kind of dressing (I think the ginger) drizzled on top. While, I don't mind a spin if it's good -- everything about this was just kind of bland. The pickled veg that came with it was overly sweet. The pork was tender, but bland and easily overpowered by the dressing and veggies. The bread it came on was soft, but no real crust and looked like it probably came as a frozen wholesale pack. Overall, it was just meh. I'll probably give this another shot to try the soup next time I'm craving pho for lunch but it's not a place I'd go out of my way for.

The restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained, with lovely interior decor. Finally, don't even get me started on the food. Every dish we had was fresh and extremely flavorful. Noodles were perfectly chewy, the Bahn Mi had a perfectly baked, shatteringly crisp bun and tender meat. The beef soup was so rich and aromatic. I live about an hour and a half away, without access to a car, and I would still choose to come back here if given the chance.
