Thanks to Yelpers out there for another great find. So many mediocre noodle places have popped up in recent years that it's extra pleasing to discover a place that serves truly authentic dishes. The pho broth was one of the best I've had in a very long time, obviously simmered a long time with just the right balance of flavors. When I mentioned that I liked a higher spice level, instead of giving me sriracha (which changes the flavor), they provided some minced peppers which worked perfectly. Wife had a dry noodle dish with shrimp and was very happy with its flavor as well. Spring rolls were excellent as well. Definitely a place to return to!

Fabulous service from quick seating to a server showing up just when we made up our minds. Hubby chose the beef round eye size large made spicy while I just asked for shrimps with noodles made medium spicy. We shared spring rolls which were stuffed full. Each entree had a different flavor which was so comforting. The ambiance was clean as well. Great place and a family run business too so come visit!

Felt more like a Chinese restaurant. Food was decent. Got the lemongrass pork rice. It arrived looking pretty bland. Had a mixed salad on the side which is pretty new to me especially in Vietnamese restaurant settings.

My guess is that this Vietnamese restaurant is not as well known as the other establishments around the area. It should be though! It's tucked away in the corner of a strip mall on Virginia Beach Blvd. It is truly a hidden gem in my opinion. The interior is not very big and it only holds a few tables but it still has a welcoming feel. We came right at dinner time and was seated right away. It was nearly empty at first but it began filling up with customers. We ordered the classic pho bowls with Vietnamese pancakes and spring rolls. There was a slight wait as there was a large group getting their food before us but it was no problem at all. The pancakes came out hot and crispy with a savory sauce. The spring rolls were a hit as well. The pho broth was delicious and the large bowl is indeed large! Their prices were lower than other restaurants but does not skimp on flavor and portion. I would definitely come back to try their signature dishes along with other soup options. Solid experience!!

The banh Xeo (crispy crepe like pancake with pork and shrimp and bean sprouts) today is so much better than last time I was here, light and crispy and cooked just right (not brownish). Came with lots of fresh lettuce and mint. My friends were with me, they ordered banh Xeo , com tam bi suong Cha (rice with grilled pork, egg sort like frittata with vermicelli and ground pork - it wasn't pork chop just pork Loin) and bun thit heo nuong (vermicelli with grilled pork). Service was fast. Refills of water even when we didn't ask.

I don't know when this restraunt opened but atleast 30 years. We have had countless wonderful meals here. My dad liked this place so we would go all the time. When my dad passed away about 15 years ago we just stopped going. During the Pandemic we thought they may need the business so we tried them twice. The were not open due to scheduling problems. THey are a small business . Use to be owned by a mom and pop. The vietnamese mom cooked all the food and the family worked the rest. We have finally been back to where they were open. It seemed the same but a little different. I did not feel comfortable asked if the mom and pop where still around. Maybe after a while of being back I will ask. Anyways. The sesame pancakes are my favorite. Start with that. Then what we did in the very beginning just to learn Vietnamese food was we just worked our way through the menu. It is big portions and we end up sharing. And taking a bunch home. But the one thing we finish off are the sesame pancake. YUMMMM I'm telling you they are my favorite. Service is always good and if you need help with deciding what to get they are super helpful.

Nice decore and atmosphere! The waitress very attentive! The pancake was good, but the BBQ pork over vermicel wasnt that great. The pork didn't really have that much taste to it!

The food was excellent. Very authentic, the service was fast, and the ambiance is very cute. This place has good quality Vietnamese food. I had the Vietnamese pancake and it was made perfect

#22 sorry I mixed it up before I took the photo.

Not authentic Vietnamese cuisine, more like Chinese foods. If you are craving Pho, this is NOT the place.

I ordered takeout, but the restaurant itself has plenty of seating. When I walked in, I was greeted right away and directed to the counter to order. The service was quick--I didn't have to wait long at all, which is always a plus. I started with the beef skewer, which came with a very small side of salad--just a couple slices of cucumber, some tomatoes, and a bit of lettuce with dressing. It was a nice surprise since I wasn't expecting anything extra, but if you're looking for a real side salad, you might want to order one separately. The beef skewer itself was delicious--tender, easy to bite into, and the slightly charred ends added great flavor. Definitely a solid appetizer or side. For my main, I got the vegetarian pho with extra tofu and no mushrooms, and it really hit the spot. The broth was flavorful and comforting. I added jalapeños and oyster sauce, and honestly, I couldn't eat it fast enough. The noodles and veggies were fresh and satisfying. Overall, a great experience--I'll definitely be back!

This place looked like it specialized in bánh mì, so we figured we'd give it a shot. The shop itself is really cute, and they also have boba drinks, which pulled me in because I love boba. I ordered a Thai milk tea along with our sandwiches. That's kind of where things went downhill. The tea tasted really artificial...like, not something I've had before, and the color was off too. It was also super sweet. My boyfriend tried it and said the same thing. For food, we split two sandwiches: he got the marinated pork and I got the roasted pork. The roasted pork was honestly disappointing--almost all fat. I get that pork has some fat, but this was excessive. Most pieces were barely meat, and the texture was just not good. I ended up picking around it just to eat something. The marinated pork was actually pretty solid. But since the other sandwich was such a miss, we basically ended up eating a marinated pork and what felt like a veggie sandwich. Overall, I think we'll keep looking for other spots when we're in the mood for bánh mì.
