Just delightful. We stopped in for a quick bite before a hike. I ordered the special: maple pecan bacon french toast. I very rarely get french toast because it's usually all sugar and no substance. Not the case here! The toppings were a perfect combination of sweet and salty. The base was three slices of a hearty and nutty muffin. Perfect portioning, doing well for indoor dining too. The staff was incredibly kind and while we couldn't bring our pups in, we ordered take out, and they gave us Milk Bone treats for our dogs! While they mostly have crepes, the entrees were delicious. I'm from HI, and appreciated a good "upscale" loco moco with mushroom gravy and rice cooked in coconut milk. It was delicious, and not too big portions, perfect for lunch. My partner had the Green Eggs and Ham crepe and that actually was a larger portion that he enjoyed. It also came with a side salad, so if you're hungrier, I'd recommend one of the savoury crepes here. The smoothie offered was also really good, and seems like a nice place to have a cup of coffee. I had a weird experience here. I don't usually write reviews but I would want to know before coming in. I went in to get a couple of lattes while my partner and I were walking around the area. On their menu it says they each cost a little under $5. Pretty standard. I was charged a little over $14. With tip and tax it came to $17. I paid and walked away but after thinking twice about it, I went back just to check that it was correct. They let me know they in fact charge $2 per drink for oat milk. It isn't listed anywhere and they didn't let me know when I ordered. I have never heard of charging this much for dairy free milk. It almost feels aggressive? I said wow Im surprised and then left. Just got here and loving it already. Caramel Latte and Mocha latte's are fantastic. Hawaii vibe due to Aimee living there for 10 yrs. Hawaii is my favorite place in the world. And my godmother got the Ohana cream crepes that are filled with custard and topped with white and dark chocolate drizzle and whip cream. She said those were delicious as well. Charming doesn't even begin to describe this cafe. The service was impeccable. We had small kids and the owner came over to check on us and offered them crayons and chocolate milk. I had a vanilla latte which was honestly the best I've had in ages. Oh.. and the crepes! Absolutely out of this world. This place is awesome. It's cozy and warm and very homey. I've been not feeling myself so I took myself on a morning breakfast date. I had their Light House French Toast which is Cinnamon raisin bread battered and cooked in a FRIGGIN WAFFLE MAKER! Like that's awesome. I also had their tomato bisque soup which I wasn't too keen on but I'm also really picky when it comes to soup. It was still really good!! And my goodness the cappuccino was to die for. The staff is very cheery and welcoming. It was amazing to spend my morning here. Whenever I'm back in Saugerties (I'm from New Paltz, NY) I will definitely be stopping in again. read more

The coffee here is wonderful and the crepes are great! Service was great too. I lived in this town a long time ago for about a year and a half and I'm so glad I got to know it because there are so many gems here. Good coffee, decent crepes. Service is excellent. A wonderful charming place that makes you want to cuddle up in one of their nooks and read all day while drinking one of their specialty coffees. We ordered the banana cream pie crepes and monte cristo. Monte cristo was pretty tasty with the french toast batter. The banana crepes were wonderful but I feel the crepe could've used something more for tastiness. I didn't feel it added to the overall tastiness of the banana custard. Hmm. I expected more from this place since it looked super cute but I was a little disappointed! I ordered avocado toast with a side of eggs and I kid you not, this is what I was given! There was barely any avocado on my toast I had to ask my waitress to bring me more, which she kindly did. I had to spread it on myself which I didn't really like either. I've never been given such little avocado on toast it actually looks like I scraped it all off. But none the less my food tasted fine and the waitresses were accommodating and friendly. From the classic exposed brick to the fresh sunflowers in vases on each table, it was bright and cheery. We were immediately greeted by a lovely young lady at the bar, and given menus to explore the different delicious options. They have breakfast foods like quiche and savory crepes, as well as sweet dessert crepes. I got the partition street crepe, as well as a bacon, broccoli, cheese quiche. They also have a vast selection of coffee drinks, but we didn't get any this time. The quiche was delicious, and a very large portion. The crepe was thin and perfectly cooked, with chocolate marscapone filling topped with a raspberry reduced sauce.
