Marcus did an awesome job of cleaning a 10 year old, pretty worn out carpet. He arrived on time and worked very hard for 4 hours on a fairly large townhouse unit, and the price was extremely reasonable. There were only a couple of stains he couldn't remove... it's a rental apt and someone had used a pink or red permanent marker. He told me in the beginning that some stains probably could not come out but that he would do his best, and that's exactly what he did. I'm so glad I found Ohana Extraction and Marcus. Their business card states that they also do move-in- move-out cleaning. Ohana Extraction did an excellent job cleaning our carpets and condo. Of all the companies we contacted, it was the only company that was willing to do the job on a Sunday. Plus, the condo is on the fourth floor of a walk up, and Ohana Extraction was also the only company that did not charge extra to bring the equipment up the four flights of stairs. The owner of the company, Marcus, and Corinne were very punctual and professional. Marcus gave us a courtesy call to confirm the start time, then both of them did an incredibly thorough job of cleaning the entire condo from top to bottom. For our move-out cleaning of a 3-bedroom 2-bathroom house, we booked Ohana Extraction about 2 weeks out, 8am on a Saturday. They were there waiting at 8am, right on time. Marcus had a quote ready, reviewed everything, then they got straight to work. They did *everything* - cleaned every book and cranny, even made sure the outside porch was clean. Carpets, windows and screens too - flawless like when we moved in. They finished by 4pm, and provided a very good invoice to be shown to the owner. Recently had Marcus and his wife clean our apartment for move-out - WOW. These two were incredible: professional, courteous, responsive, timely, and honest. Decided to book after viewing excellent reviews on yelp - needed a 2br/2ba cleaned for move-out inspection to include full kitchen (oven, fridge, freezer, cabinets cleaned/wiped down), carpet shampoo and clean, windows cleaned, and hardwood floors. I reached out via email and conducted the whole scheduling process via email. Marcus responded to my emails the same day, provided an estimate given my space and cleaning needs, and answered all my questions about how long he expected the cleaning to take and assured me that all of the move-out cleaning specifications would be met. He also has a yelp discount which he gladly applied to our bill. Marcus and his wife showed up on cleaning day exactly on time, which was very important to me since I was meeting them with an infant son in tow! They took a look around the apartment and let me show them certain areas that were important for me to have cleaned (inside medicine cabinets, shelving, bathroom grout, kitchen cabinets, etc). Marcus promised he would call me at 2:30 in the afternoon to give me an update on their progress - he called me exactly on time and noted he would be done in 30 minutes. I arrived later than expected (I'm so sorry Marcus!) - but he and his wife were waiting patiently outside the apartment with all their things packed up and the apartment GLEAMING. No joke, I stepped off the elevator on our floor and was greeted with the amazing smell of CLEAN! The carpet was immaculate, kitchen cabinets wiped down, 18 year-old fridge and freezer looking like new, windows sparkling, and bathrooms spotless. We had a wood-stain on our carpet from a planter which we knew would be unlikely to come out and Marcus said he would try his best on it, but acknowledged it would be tough. I appreciated his honesty and even though the stain didn't come out in the clean, I am glad Marcus was up front about doing his best - it's more than obvious that this team is top-notch given the way the rest of the place looked!
