Food was great. Service was amazing. A little sad they dont have any seating. You can either door dash or place your order to go.

Highly recommend! I went in for the first time last night and the two people working could not have been more friendly. The person making my bowls helped me decide, gave recommendations and explained how some things were prepared. He highly suggested the bulgogi beef! I had the spicy tuna bowl myself and it was fantastic and well worth the price. I loved it so much that I am going back today.

Best poke bowls in Maine. Fresh, great tasting, and large portions. I go out of my way to share my love of this place to other sushi lovers

Maybe the lights were a little harshly bright, but otherwise a fine place to dine. We didn't get too many things, as we stopped in more for a finisher for the evening than full meal (we'd come from a party with small foods). We ordered a shoyu ramen and a dragon roll. Interesting note on the dragon roll, it has a sweet potato interior. This led to a distinct flavor from other rolls I've had in the past, and a smooshier texture, but a good roll nonetheless. The ramen was mostly a delight. Sumptuous broth, the egg was not too hard nor soft, and almost all the ingredients were perfect. Which I usually avoid that word because it's too subjective, but it seems to fit here. Major exception is the chashu pork. It was overcooked to the extreme. No other word for it, these dried out circles of meat were thick and chewy, and soaking them in the broth couldn't save them. Sad. Otherwise, some of the best ramen I've had since leaving Japan. The only other note I'd have is I just wanted some tea, and had to order a weird tea concoction to get it. Sometimes you'd just like an oolong tea, nothing fancy. I recommend this restaurant, overall, and hope you enjoy it too.

Close to more bars for extra drinks, easy to run into other friends. Also, it's a beautiful spot with outdoor seating in the warmer months. We opted to sit outside and enjoyed khao soi, katsu pork sandwich, and the honey soft serve. The portions are generous, as we were able to share and have leftovers. Each plate had so many great textures and flavors. We did experience a long wait between ordering, getting food, and receiving the check. It was a busy summer night so I wasn't upset, but do not plan on having a quick meal here. Get cozy, get an extra drinks and enjoy your time here. Apologies, but phone did not eat first this time-no pics!

Service: Great Food: We started off with soft serve and the seasonal earl gray outshined the house honey. The earl gray had a great flavor topped with an excellent syrup while the honey was mild and the chocolate shell didn't add anything, although the 'honeycomb' bits were delic. Crispy eggplant special - good, very small portion Pork katsu sandwich - pretty solid, interesting pickle Pad mee korat - good, small portion Value: Aside from the soft serve, the portions were very small for ~$17 price point, and the food was good but aside from the earl gray soft serve, didn't amaze to the point of paying a higher price point. Overall I did like this meal but portions were small for prices. I hope they keep the earl gray soft serve around!

Mr. Tuna is one of three Open Table Exclusive restaurants in Maine, so most every local Chase Reserve card member uses their twice yearly $150 credit here, which explains my visit. The people watching from the outdoor tables on Middle Street must be some of the best in the city. You could easily sip a glass of sake (the dreamy clouds was...dreamy) while eating a toro maki roll and marveling at the tourists waiting in a two hour Eventide line. But we ordered the lemongrass fried tofu salad, salmon toro sashimi and 3 maki rolls, including the green crab special. Everything tasted fresh and excellent with only Yosaku in the same league for Old Port sushi. Of course Yosaku is much more authentic Japanese than Mr. Tuna, though Mr. Tuna is more fun. Like most trendy Portland restaurants, lunch for two with a couple drinks each is $200 all in (get that Chase card!). Still, this is a huge, inventive menu with a great bar program and is one of the surprisingly better summertime outdoor seating options.

Service was good and here's what we had: - tuna de tigre: really good and the coconut milk was an interesting touch. The flavor was not what we expected, but in a good way - kale salad: very good. Glad we got this to add some veggies to the meal - salmon toro: nothing spectacular, but still tasted great - special (curried green crab rolls): was looking forward to this but a bit disappointed. I don't think curry is great with sushi rolls - Mr tuna burrito: in my mind this was going to be a burrito with a tortilla, but to my surprise it was basically a giant sushi roll. Unique and tasted great

The braised and crisped pork belly (Buta No Kakuni) here was some of the best I have ever had. One of those "Holy sh*t" bites where you have to put your head down to process what just assaulted your taste buds. Perfectly rendered fat, good meat to fat ratio, super crisp outer exterior but not too much where it gets tough, the caramelized soy glaze to top it all off.. It was just so good. Also, getting a bite with the kewpie, pickled onion, and pork belly all in one shot is chefs kiss. It doesn't even need all the supporting characters, but it makes it that much better. Slightly overshadowed by the pork, I also got an onigiri. It was filled with chicken and chives. Overall I thought the onigiri was decent. Chicken and chive wouldn't be my top filling but it was tasty nonetheless and still worth trying! I like that they griddle it slightly to help it hold its structure instead of using a piece of nori. Its a pretty relaxing feel inside the place. Staff was also attentive and pleasant. We set in the back, up a few steps right underneath an awesome Totoro poster- iykyk.
