A bit of a unique ordering process -- it worked when I was one of the only ones in line, but I feel like it would get complicated when busy. the complaining stops there, however... The food was fresh, plentiful and the staff was friendly & smiling the whole time! I waited (maybe) eight or nine minutes, which I think was fair because I got the sense that they were busy with online orders ahead of me. I'm going to return here to enjoy a nice poke bowl for lunch in the future, for sure!

When my fav poke place in the area is closed but I had a craving I came out of my way here. Lucky to find parking. Did a build my own bowl, single protein is about $16. I like that they have a lot of salad variety but the actual quantity placed in the bowl is maybe a tablespoon. I wish they tossed the salmon in a sauce instead of placing it on top and squirting the sauce over it, I found it just a smidge bland. Overall, not bad but not as great or convenient as the other place. If I'm in the area and it's a Sunday with a hankering, maybe.

I had lunch here the other day for the first time and was very happy with my poke bowl. You can even pick from their opinions or build your own. They have lots of toppings and sauces and protein to pick from! I had the tuna and it was very fresh. Overall a decent spot if you are in the old port.

Fantastic options, great signature poké bowls, easy and simple ordering process, vegetarian options, and reasonable prices. We got the inari-based bowl with brown rice and it was flavorful, crunchy as promised, and generous with the amount of inari slices. Great!

I'm actually just finishing up a huge bowl of tonkatsu ramen with some taro boba. I'm of Cantonese descent and noticed other Asians eating in this small but attractive and well air conditioned establishment. Staff is friendly, service is fast. I ordered my dish spicy and it was the perfect balance of heat without being too hot. The hot oil dip is potent and again just the right amount of heat to flavor ratio. It's a large helping so there's value in the size if the helping. The roast pork slices are many and the perfect balance of fat to lean meat. The noodles are al dente and the flavor is to my liking. Overall great value, great taste and for a small mom & pop platform it checks off all the boxes.

Service: You order from the front counter and get your own water. There are plenty of seating inside and they bring the food out to you. They were very kind and the service was great. Food: I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. It came with a small container of chili oil on the side. I added it all to the broth and it surprisingly gave the ramen the right amount of spice I was looking for. In addition, I loved the bok choy and they didn't skimp out on the meat. The broth itself wasn't too thick and had great flavor. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the ramen here.

Stopped in for a quick dinner on our final night in Portland. We both got a build your own bowl, they were very good. We took them to the waterfront to enjoy the sunset. I appreciated that they give you unlimited mix ins.

I think if I won the lottery, the first thing I would do would be clone Crunchy Poke, implant it in my living room, and eat poke bowls for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I can't speak enough to the high quality, delicious, and fresh ingredients. This is key when eating poke (for obvious reasons), and has never been a concern of mine when I eat here (which is embarrassingly often). Their portions are extremely generous, especially given their SUPER fair prices, and the ability to (seemingly) include endless add-ons for no additional cost. My go to order? A build your own bowl with either salmon (for hot days) or unagi/eel (for colder days, as this fish is warmed up), with a base of white rice, avocado, green onion, red cabbage, red ginger, and any combo of their sauces (the House Poke Sauce, Japanese Mayo, or Unagi Sauce are personal faves). Try the Fried Garlic, Fried Onion, Furikake, Masago, and Tempura Crunch as yummy toppings. Crunchy Poke is family-owned and has super friendly staff, which is always a plus. Good for dine-in (an amazing option for a quick, hearty, healthy lunch!) or takeaway, Crunchy Poke is a MUST TRY for anyone craving poke. LOVE!

Crunchy poke is a great poke bowl and ramen spot. You order from a paper slip and check off each ingredient you want. I liked that way if doing it since I could see all the toppings listed out. They are very generous with portion sizes and don't skimp on the fish like some poke places. My bowl was a little over 16 dollars but definitely worth it. Ingredients felt high quality and fresh. The employees are really nice. Limited indoor seating.

For food, we ordered a rice bowl with pork sausage and a noodle bowl (with lobster and clams). Don't remember the names. Both were absolutely fantastic. The flavor profiles are just incredible. Crispy eggplant special - good, very small portion Pork katsu sandwich - pretty solid, interesting pickle Pad mee korat - good, small portion Value: Aside from the soft serve, the portions were very small for ~$17 price point, and the food was good but aside from the earl gray soft serve, didn't amaze to the point of paying a higher price point. We showed up with a small line waiting to get in/pick up orders. Once inside we waited a little bit for the staff to arrive to greet us, once they did we were told it would be a wait for a table or could sit at the kitchen bar right away. We snagged the two furthest bar seats with a slight peak into the kitchen watching food being prepared. They had QR codes around for you to scan to pull up the menu. Overall it's a small space as well as being a thin and narrow space. Be ready for a possible wait for a spot to open up. To start off we grabbed some cocktails, my wife got their Shiso Lucky (Roku Gin, shiso, lime) and I got Kochi Sunset (Shochu, yuzu, blood orange). Also for a starter we decided to have the Lobster Buns. Cocktails were great and well made. The lobster buns were a fantastic unique way of enjoying lobster. My wife did find the texture of the bun to be not ideal but overall enjoyed it. Entree wise we both decided on the duck ramen. We both enjoyed it very much, my wife could have done without the menma (fermented bamboo shoots). I wish it had more duck in it honestly. The duck was extremely tasty in both the normal meat and meatball. For our return eventually we will both likely try a different ramen to branch out. Overall a pretty solid overall experience. Some small changes could make me change it to a five star from my current four. It certainly fulfilled the ramen craving and I could see this being a no -brainer for stopping at during the brutal winters Maine has.

An excellent third stop on our impromptu culinary tour of Portland, and our party grew from two to four. I had the Shanghai cowboy cocktail, the bourbon hits, and you can definitely taste the mint more than the guava. All the foods in order of my preference, this was a tough list to rank because everything had great flavor and came out hot!! Lobster rangoon: yes, I would love to have another order of these! Great flavor, nice crisp wonton, just a wonderful rangoon experience! Pork pot stickers: mmm, love me some pot stickers, and these lived up to my expectations, great flavor and texture! Sa cha chicken skewers: so very tender, great flavor, would gladly eat again! Garlic meatball skewers: good flavor, nice dipping sauce, happy we added these to our selection. Shanghai soup dumplings: in general a fun food item, great flavor and they were highly recommended by the everyone who suggested we eat here. Mongolian beef: the beef had great flavor, the broccoli was cooked properly, not mushy, the onions were well caramelized; delicious! Har gow: good flavor, nice steamed dumplings, glad we tried them! Peking duck buns: my friend was in love with these, it was good, but not something I was immediately obsessed with. More than enough food for the three of us adults! Lobster rangoon, order them yesterday. They're absolutely amazing. Little sweet, little tangy, rich, very light exterior, plenty of filling; they checked all the boxes. I wish an order came with double! (I wouldn't judge if you put in a double order). The Duck Bao, for me, would be a pass for next time. They were good- just not standout. The bao bun itself was very nice and pillowy, just as you'd want, so they are working with a great foundation. I just wanted a little more out of the flavor for the duck. Maybe it could have used some freshness in there, there was a touch of scallion and some soy based sauce in there but could have benefited from some veg like shredded carrot or daikon or something else. Either that or it would have needed to lean even harder into the umami, caramel- deep flavors. Onto the orange beef. I didn't know how to feel about this when it was first put in front of me. The portion seemed okay, but I realized as I kept eating, the pile of beef wasn't going down as quick as I thought it would (good problem to have!) the beef was crisp, the orange flavor was tangy and sweet - it was really tasty. Beef wasn't tough but also wasn't super tender. Not good nor bad. My only complaint here is that there could have been a little more bok choy and the rice was not very easy to eat with chopsticks. It was a jasmine rice from what it seemed and it didn't have any starch to stick together at all. To pick it up I was having to press the beef into the rice to stick it all together. Not super easy to eat but maybe its just a me problem.

The vibes have been similar over the past couple years during our visits. They have a tropical/island vibe with Asian inspired menu items along with some late night bites. They also do a phenomenal job with cocktails, and I would add mocktails as well which my wife and I each tried one tonight. Looks wise you would not even be able to tell it was non-alcoholic and the flavors were great too. I got their Platonic Best Friend which had a good spice to it, while my wife got the Lack of Meow that she loved. Food wise we each got a Double Patty Burger and split an order of the house fries. Both were just as good as all our other visits and the fries were even more seasoned than normal. We will miss both burgers and fries and especially the dipping sauce that comes with the fries. Lastly we had never tried their dessert and the Maine Blueberry Cake they had sounded so tempting, my wife's favorite fruit is blueberries. Every bite was amazing and my wife even said it was the fastest she has ever eaten a dessert. Was the perfect end cap to our final visit to Paper Tiger! We chose the small but comfy wicker chairs at the bar and got glasses of wine - $2 off on happy hour! Our bartender was super sweet and helped us with our order. We got the double smash burger and Szechuan wings with Thai chili sauce on the side. Food came out hella quick. The wings were little but they were so *crispy* and the Szechuan seasoning was tasty and not too overpowering. It was rated as 3 chili peppers on the menu but I didn't really detect any spice. Thai chili was sweet, tangy, solid. Our burger was good. I imagine it's modeled after a Big Mac - had all similar ingredients - just better beef, pickles, etc. It went down easy. I think I was just missing more flavor, maybe a little greasier, something cravable. But hey, if you've been out drinking and you need a late night snack, I guarantee that puppy will hit the spot. Their cocktail menu is an attraction in and of itself. The more you read through it, the more hilarious and charming it is.
