Got the Sua Da with and I was very pleased and surprised that it was probably one of my best ones. The coffee was not the bitter, smoky kind. This one was full, bold and had a nice smooth taste. I wanted to get another one to head home with but I have to wait for my next trip. Apparently, If i had more than one sua da, I won't be able to sleep for two days. It's worth it, but i'm too old not to sleep. lol

Pretty disappointed at this place after my daughter brought me here for the first time…read more I ordered the Peach Fruit Tea with 50% sweet, light ice and Crystal Boba. Results- - Canned (not fresh) peaches used in drink. This may have caused weird aftertaste that does not have that familiar peach flavor like other places. - Flavor is way too sweet for 50%. - Light ice was done correctly When I walked away I quickly realized that they did not add my crystal boba toppings to my drink. I just had a few slices of lemons. After walking back to let them know, the girl who prepared my drink admitted to the guy that I questioned the issue about that she forgot to add it. No apologies from the girl directly and it was passive but only from the guy whom I mentioned the issue to. They have a lot of young kids working here and it looks like they work fast but they need to read the ingredients to fulfill the order correctly and to be consistent. I may give this place another try but will be sorely disappointed if they miss the mark again. (FYI- This exact location used to be Nobibi which quickly went downhill and this new business took over.)

I added breakfast to this place while they visited me for a few days. We called in our order as instructed on the website. Unfortunately no Boba was available for on the pancakes. When we arrived I was disheartened to find the place rather small either intense heat of a bakery, which made the lone table inside with a meandering fly the least bit welcoming. When adding drinks to our order, the lone man working there asked me a few times whether I really was ordering coffee for a child (and yes, she settled on a mocha when it was determined he only knew how to sprinkle matcha powder on the pancakes, and hadn't a clue as to their application to drinks). My grandson ordered their 'special hot chocolate' which pretty much tasted like watered-down Ovaltine. We sat outside to eat and after a few bites and finding these were nothing like the fluffy Japanese pancakes they'd expected, we threw away $44 worth of what was supposed to be a pleasant breakfast experience. I guess this was a life lesson for the kids, that our expectations aren't always met. And I want to prevent any other adults from making the same mistake I did in taking my business there!

On Friday k come in ready to try a few things and the owner snaps at me and tells me why she doesn't understand why I thought they made it on a Fridays, they've only ever made it on Saturday. I explained we saw the paper and she said no that was for something else. I then SUGGESTED she put up a sign explaining that tanghulu was made only in Saturdays and she started arguing with me about why I was wrong. I again explained it was a suggestion. At that point I should have just walked out, this store is only open like 4 days a week and the days it is opened they barely sell anything! My friends play an Avatar based d&d so I got some of these candy games for them and we got two parfaits (one raspberry chocolate one strawberry.) we told her we wanted our order to go. She handed our food to us without lids and we had to ask for them. My ice cream was okay, it was vanilla soft serve, with strawberries, and strawberry sauce, nothing crazy (but better at McBees!) but my partners was GROSS! The raspberry was overpowering and even though it didn't list coffee it had a STRONG flavor of coffee. I hate coffee. We ended up throwing his away it was so gross! TLDR: the owner is rude, they only actually have a menu on Saturday and get samples of everything because some stuff doesn't taste very good

If you like exotic flavors with that Hispanic flare, then this is the place. I was very happy to find out that my all-time favorite flavor Nuez (pecan) was one of those flavors. Very nutty and buttery as how I always expected this to be. A delightful treat to enjoy during these last hot days of summer but can still be enjoyable throughout the year. Eloté or corn is my 2nd best favorite along with Pistachio and Mint chip not too far behind. There are multiple friendly ladies behind the counter ready to help you and they have tons of other flavors. Just hard to pry myself off my current favorites. They also have other frozen treats as well as churros near the checkout counter. Parking is ample and it's easy to get in and out of the lot. You can even sit outside and enjoy your treat with a friend or family member. Overall I wished I had tried this much sooner but now that found a new place to enjoy a frozen treat, I will come more often.

Seated upstairs so felt bad the waitress had to go up and down many many times. The empanadas were awful. I am being extremely honest. It seemed as if they were pre frozen and lacked flavor and filling. We were so surprised at the quality and price. I also had the shnitzel and it had no seasoning and was so bland. With a sad excuse for chimichurri. That seemed haphazardly put together, again lacking any flavor. Was it an off day based on the amount of people raving? Maybe. But also maybe they aren't aware of the better options in Portland so lack the awareness of true potential in this cuisine. I recommend Lechón if you want real chimichurri and empanadas.

We tried four empanadas (chorizo, pollo spicy, humita, and imposter) along with an order of papas, and that was more than enough for the two of us. Each empanada had a wonderfully flaky, golden crust. The fillings were flavorful and distinct; the only one that didn't quite win us over was the imposter, though that's probably just a matter of taste. The papas were crisp and perfectly seasoned too. Service could have been a touch more attentive, especially given the place wasn't too busy, but overall, it's a lovely new addition to the neighborhood -- cozy, tasty, and full of potential.

I wanted to try most of those flavors. Sadly, none of these were available when we visited. Instead, my husband, daughters, and I shared a flight with waffle cone: birthday cake and blackberries, huckleberry oat crisp with foraged porcini, salted malted chocolate chip cookie dough, and chocolate gooey brownie. Not quite as unique as the flavors mentioned above but these were still out of the ordinary and very delectable. My favorite is the huckleberry oat crisp with foraged porcini. My parents had the dairy-free strawberry and coconut water sorbet and hazelnut cookies and cream in a waffle bowl. My mom is usually indifferent to ice cream but she said this was exceptional.
