I wish I had this near me :,) but then again, it might be serious trouble for me if I did lol…read more I've felt disappointed by a vast majority of donuts in recent years. Too greasy, weird aftertastes, terrible terrible heartburn and upset stomach after... And with these, I didn't experience any of that(a little burpy after, but I mean, it's donuts... LOL) We only tried 3 different donuts, but they were all so bomb. The churro donut was my favorite. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just like a real churro, but didn't get soggy. The Nutella Malasada was full of Nutella and it was actually my first time trying a malasada... bomb! The cookies and creme mochi was a nice surprise too. The cream was actually very flavorful and not just like a plain creme with Oreos thrown in like I've often seen. I'm sure all of the donuts would be really good here. I will definitely make a trek here again one of these days.

They had hundreds of donuts sitting out, no labels, we had to ask what everything was. Ended up buying four for $13, not bad. Came home and took a bite of each one. None of the donuts tasted fresh, I am sure they were made hours before we bought them. Churro was super hard and stale, salted caramel literally tasted like nothing, blueberry tasted like sweet artificial fruit, carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was the best one. If I lived nearby, I might get that one again, but this is not a place to go out of the way and try.

You should never judge a book by its cover. Pulling up to the nondescript strip mall, I was sure…read morethat all the amazing reviews had gotten it wrong. The truth is I couldn't have imagined what an enjoyable meal myself and my two companions would be having. Having flown in from Seattle for work we were desperate to get away from the Hyatt Regency for a little bit better food. So I turned to yelp. As we walked inside you are immediately taken by the charming atmosphere. Everyone was so welcoming! From our amazing waiter Timmy to Misty our chef/owner. Every single dish was fantastic. From the French Onion soup with bone marrow, the Mac and cheese shareable, to the garlic bread with pesto.. But the entrees and desserts SHINED! I had the scallops while the other two had the 8oz hanger steak. Both steaks were cooked to perfection (rare and medium well) and the scallops were so buttery soft they melted in your mouth. The desserts was cheesecake with a raspberry gelee for one and a warm banana bread with ice cream and chocolate drizzle for the other. Even though we were all stuffed, the plates were worthy of a lick (although we restrained ourselves). So if you're ever find yourself in Huntington Beach and want to up your food game, come to this little gem. It won't disappoint. Will definitely be back next time!

There was only a group of two eating inside and there were plenty of tables to choose from. We were greeted at the register right away and they were pretty friendly. Customer service was about standard. My wife and I ordered the house box with original flavor, spicy popcorn chicken with ranch, and a side of garlic noodles (since I've heard so much about it on IG reels). The food came out about 10mins after ordering at it was exactly as they say it is. So crispy and juicy. The water matching they have is top tier and came out super cold and crispy. There was enough food to fill us up and take home too. I'd easily come back.

Mama Hieu's started out during COVID and was a small business that was selling plates from the house and due to all of their success, opened up two brick and mortar locations! The spicy garlic butter chicken was soooo good and crispy! It was actually pretty spicy too. I love how they included the pickled veggies! The box came with 7 wings and two scoops of rice and your choice of sauce. We got the Mama Sauce, which was a mayo like sauce. We didn't know what the Andy's Special flavor tasted like, but the workers explained that the flavor is similar to Vietnamese style crab (cua rang). So like oyster sauce, garlic, fish sauce like flavor; sticky. It was hella good!!! No need to dip in the side sauce either. Their fried chicken comes in many unique flavors like salted egg yolk and fish sauce. We weren't really feeling the garlic noodles; come here for the fried chicken box with rice instead! Definitely coming back next time we're in LA!

Our waiter was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everyone at our table was taken care of. I have food allergies, and he took them very seriously. He double-checked with the kitchen to make sure my meal was safe, removed anything I couldn't have, and even gave me some great recommendations. That level of care meant a lot to me. We were a pretty large party, and somehow every single order came out exactly as requested. There were no mix-ups, nothing was forgotten, and our waters were constantly being refilled without us even having to ask. Our waiter was truly on top of everything. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the steak cooked medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. One of my friends let me try a bite of her salmon, and oh my goodness...it was so good! I already know that's what I'll be ordering the next time I come back. The mocktails were also fantastic and paired really well with the meal. The restaurant itself was spotless, including the restrooms, and the atmosphere was beautiful. The ocean views made the experience even more special and were the perfect backdrop for celebrating my birthday. I would absolutely come back for the incredible food, amazing service, beautiful views, and overall great atmosphere. Thank you for making my birthday celebration such a memorable one!

My regular order is the Prime Rib Dip--hands down my favorite item on the menu. Tender beef, plenty of flavor, and perfect for dipping. When I'm craving something different, the Fried Chicken Sandwich is always a solid choice, and The Brant Burger is just as tasty. I usually pair my meal with a crisp beer and, every now and then, a shot to round things out. The location is another reason I keep coming back. The views overlooking PCH and the ocean make for a great place to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy the afternoon. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which only adds to the experience. Great food, cold beer, ocean views, and consistently good service. The Brant continues to be one of my favorite spots on the coast.
