The place is huge! Lots to look at as far as ambience goes and all of it celebrating Ohio. We went with a group of friends on a Sunday evening after a busy day of football and it was well staffed and clean. The beers were all tasty and a reasonably priced menu. I had the session IPA and their seasonal Christmas beer which was really good if you're into spiced seasonals.I ate a pizza and my wife had the smash burger, both cooked really well and had good flavor. For several months now I have been attending a board game meetup that meets at Ohio Brewing. Ohio brewing has always been very accommodating to our group where a few other businesses seemed annoyed by our presence. Ohio Brewing lets us occupy multiple tables. Our orders always come back fairly quickly and accurately (as far as I've seen.) Our meetup group almost always has the same server Jasmine. She is very friendly and I look forward to seeing her when our group meets. read more

A brewery with a really cringy identity crisis. Interior is quite large and open, blasting top 40 hits. Waitstaff forgot about us while eating behind the counter, beer was affordable but nothing special. I was relieved to leave. read more

Beers were all good and the sausage gravy was just what I was hoping for, not too much buttermilk, it had the good salty and slightly spicy (with the help of some black and red pepper). We have dined here several times with much success. Today was an exception. Good news: $5 margs all day today. They were refreshing. The tacos, Cubans, and hot chicken sandwich were all tasty. The ambience is nice. It's always fun to look at the pics and say, "I didn't know s/he was from Ohio!!" Bad news: The service and the Po boy. Service started out okay, but 1 app came out, then 2 meals came out. We were faced with that awkward choice of being polite or eating hot food when it's hot. Quite awhile later, the 2nd appetizer came out with the other meals. My husband said he didn't want it because it was too late, but I said that he was kidding. Honestly, he was making a better choice because the carnitas nachos were ice cold. We actually didn't end up eating them. Meanwhile, my son's po boy was so salty that he put water in a dish to rinse off the shrimp so he didn't waste it since we did not get to share this info because no one ever checked on us. Then, after waiting for an extended period of time for the check, my husband finally asked another server for the check. After another extended period of time, he went to the bartender and asked for the check. Several minutes later, we finally got the check. That was it. I wish I could put 0 stars because this is what this place deserves. From the moment we arrived, we received terrible service. We were a party of 9 and requested a high chair. We were seated at a counter height table with a regular sized high chair. When we asked to move, the host was anything but hospitable. He acted like we inconvenienced him by asking for our child to have appropriate seating. We moved ourselves to a regular table (mind you the place wasn't busy). After 10 minutes, we hadn't been greeted by anyone. We never received water or even acknowledgement from a server. We finally decided to leave and were met with "where are you going?". I would not recommend anyone go to this establishment unless they retrain their entire staff. This is a disappointment to say the least. read more

Wanted to love it. But just can't. Came with a big group. We had about 5-6 tables in the back. While the servers were great, they needed help bad. Only about 3-4 people for the entire place at 6pm on a Thursday evening. None the less we ordered food and drink. Took a while, but eventually everything came out. We shared apps for the group but everyone ordered food separate. Unfortunately so of the food was places on the group table with the apps. Though we had ordered separately and we're sitting at a completely different table. I was 2 drinks in and ordered the carnitas flatbread. When it came out, I thought it looked bad. Very few toppings. But they were short. And it had already taken maybe half an hour to come out so I didn't complain. However, after posting a review online. Several folks let me know it wasn't right. It was missing toppings. So I decided to reach out to the business to see if they'd make it right. They didn't. I was told I should have sent it back right away. But how was i supposed to know. It was my first time there. I didn't see a photo on the menu. And I had been drinking. Lest they could have done was offer a refund. They confirmed it was missing meat and not what it should have been. So why not just offer to fix it? Sad because it seemed like a great place. But I won't be back. read more

This place just opened within walking distance from our home so me and my wife were stoked to see the OPEN sign finally! It was just what we wanted. Great food. Great employees. Brew master Joe knows his beers. AMAZING PRICES. $6 pints?!?! Yes please. We got the Fun Guy Fungi flat bread and it was so good. We also tried the $10 flight to test out the house brews. So good. For me, first intention, this place is about building base for a night on 4th st. Service was great! Our waiter had jokes and playful banter which put me in a great mood for the night to come. Did you know Russell Wilson was from Ohio? Me neither! Ohio Brewing Company has pictures of celebrities, sports starts, and etc hanging from the walls which kept me pretty occupied for the whole meal. This was actually was my favorite part about this place. Pizza was 6.5/10 but the wings slapped (get bbq and Buffalo). My friends got the beer cheese and chips app and asked for more chips so I guess it was good. Others had the burger and Ruben which seemed to be solid choices. All in all, I'll be back for more. My favorite beer was the Lil Vata. Lastly but not least this brewery has big azz TVs. Finally TVs at a brewery! read more

New to the area and came to explore their thrift market. Did some shopping and then went to get a beer. A spot cleared up at the bar and I proceeded to watch for 10 minutes as every single person who arrived after me or had already been there got served (about eight guests handled between two bartenders) until I was done and grabbing my purse. This is a really great addition to the Italian village area! We had a great time sampling the beer and got food. I forgot to take a picture of the food but we got the Reuben which was really good, and an Albanian dish that was also very good. My volunteer and I went here for our monthly dinner and LOVED IT. However, neither of us drink, and if you don't want AF beer, you are left with water. Iceless water at that. I got the Powell Pepperoni Pizza and it was great. My friend got a burger that looked so good I was jealous. The parking was great, the landscaping is impressive, the patio is lovely, the decor is top notch, but man, I really wanted something else to drink. Visited here recently and was impressed by the design and memorabilia in the building. Great Decorating. What was unimpressive was the beers and the food was disappointing. We had the flatbread and it looked nothing like the photo on the website, the Bologna sandwich was probably the worst I have ever seen, about the size of a McDonalds single burger and at $15, I won't be going back anytime soon. read more

First stop on our Ale Trail weekend a few weeks ago. First, I love the location, Milo Georgian, an area that definitely needed this boost! From the moment you pull into the lot, the attention to detail is clear! The brewery is definitely one of the coolest in Columbus, so much love give to my home state, from pictures of all the local celebrities to the plane suspended from the ceiling with Brutus behind the wheel! Up first beer flight, some great fall beers on tap, but the flight board....so cool...I need one! The food, large portions we could have really shared one thing but too many choices and they all sounded so good! The mushroom pizza...the garlic...I mean zoom in on the picture and just look at it...delicious and quite tasty the next day! The Cuban and housemade chips....also delicious! with the new chef the menu has changed, I get it that they want to make their own adjustments but when they took of the bologna sandwich I feel that was a mistake. We have been coming to the restaurant for quite a while and feel like there are not good choices on their menu. The manager is a strange bird that when there is a group scheduled in one of their private rooms they have a group meeting and everyone has to wait while their meeting is going on To get waited on. We waited 20 minutes after sitting at the bar and not getting waited on we almost left. He is lucky he has a good crew that works for him otherwise I do not see him as a manager. We went one time when a group was coming in and sat at the bar and the manager had the waiters at the bar serving beer in plastic cups which was ridiculous and we refused to drink out of them and wanted glasses that were sitting there. It ended up ok but we shouldn't of had to question them on it. read more

The Ohio Brewing Company has been one of our go to spots since it opened. It is a great space. Huge with very cool artwork and a who's who of Ohio photo collection. We mostly sit at the bar so service is usually pretty good, especially lately. Great patio as well. The beer is always good. My problem is the new menu! I like it when restaurants change things up, but in this case it was not a change for the better! What happened to the corned beef and pastrami options! Those 2 things alone brought me in, especially the Dagwood. That was one of the best sandwiches in Columbus! The cuban was also solid as was the fried bologna. We had the fried pickle chips on a recent visit, not good. Obviously frozen, out of the bag into the fryer. Adding dill pickle to the cheese curds does nothing for me. Other menu items are just OK, where in the past the food was top notch. I still have a few menu items to try that may sway my opinion, and if they do I will update my review. My wife still really likes the OBC House Salad, (add shrimp). We will still continue to support this place. It certainly isn't horrible, I just feel that they are moving a bit in the wrong direction. read more
