Looking for a place to grab lunch and a beer and Ohio Brewing fit the bill. The space is great - inside and out! Lots of seating inside or on the covered patio. There also appeared to be a stage area for some events. Many beers to choose from and a fairly extensive menu. Note that if you come on weekends, only the brunch menu is available until 2 pm. Most of our group got pizza, which all looked very good. I had been eyeing the chicken sandwich, but it wasn't on the brunch menu. I instead got the chicken and waffles, since it seemed to have the same chicken that the sandwich would have had. The chicken was very good, but it was all together too much for me to eat. I've been here a few times. The Cornchuily that is sitting on top of a doorway was sold from a store I used to work at. It's a cool piece. The interiors is FULL of Ohio Paraphernalia and celebrity photos - it's a fun game to see who you didn't know was from Ohio. Last year they started hosting vintage markets and that was cool.they do have an event space it back and it looked like they are building it up outdoors. The service is hit or miss. One time we went and it was excellent. Great service and other time we were the only ones inside and we had the worst service! Our server forgot our drinks and the food took over an hour. We had to say something. The kitchen staff came out to see who was "making issues". Interesting. Went a third time for drinks and it was good service. Food is good tho. For where they are - we were impressed with the parking and space they acquired. I don't know - I don't recommend as a top place to go but it could be really good for you read more

How embarrassing for them. We came from out of town. Our party was 14 (7 children). The place was empty at 6:45 pm on a Tuesday. They could not accommodate us because they had a weekly trivia group coming at 7:30. They chose not to seat us at regular tables and some of our children were too small for high tops. This is my first night in town. Just moved back to Ohio from Florida. I'm originally from Cleveland but Columbus is now home. I love a good craft brewery and Ohio Brewing is ticking all the boxes! They've been open 4 years but aren't quite on the map yet. Let's give them some love!! The atmosphere is great! Photos of Ohio celebrities on the walls, Brutus in an upside down airplane, and a very cool Ohio shaped mural! Right now it's decorated for Christmas and is very festive! I was seated quickly and the brews and food came quickly too. I'm here on a Monday night and I'm told they're not usually busy on Mondays but it appears there are a few work groups here for their holiday party. I got the meatloaf dinner and the fried brussel sprouts. The meatloaf is a very large portion on top of a pile of mashed potatoes and broccolini. And it's topped with bacon!! Very quick to be attended to! They were just setting up outside all of their Christmas decorations and inside is very cool having all different people born in Ohio on the walls. Came just for drinks this time, and got 5 different beers brewed by them. The Christmas ale was extremely good with lots of spices, their Czech Pils was great, and their stout/porter they had was pretty good as well - a bit thick/syrupy but had good flavor throughout the sip. Tons of seating and TVs to catch the baseball and basketball games. Service was slow. Maybe because they weren't busy? Our server hardly came by to check on us so it took a while to get our drinks and even to get our check. We shared the pretzel sticks with cheese. Delicious! For entrees I got the Reuben while my friends got the carnitas tacos and shrimp po boy. Decent. They forgot to add the sauce to my Reuben so it wasn't great. Lacking flavorful. Kinda disappointing. This venue is spacious and features a fantastic patio. It is situated between an industrial area and a gentrifying neighborhood, offering better-than-expected location and views. There's a wonderful patio outside with some shade, but it was hot enough that we opted to stay inside. The venue has a great bar, high-tops, low-tops, and plenty of seating. The service is top-notch, making you feel valued and well taken care of. It's even kid-friendly; we saw several other kids, and the server was attentive to their needs, which was much appreciated. We really enjoy this place. We've tried the Shrimp Po Boy, which is loaded with Grilled Gulf shrimp, spicy remoulade, shaved green cabbage slaw, and roasted tomato on a harvest bun. We also had the MUSHROOM & SWISS BURGER, which consists of two 3-oz Ohio beef patties topped with Swiss cheese and bacon, served on a toasted brioche bun (I requested it without the cheese). Another dish we enjoyed was the BREU-BENOBC, which is Pitchback Session IPA-braised corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese dressed with 1000-Island and served on rye bread. Everything we've tried here has been excellent. They have 12 of their beers on tap, but we tend to favor the Lulet and the President Pilsner. There are plenty of TVs showing sports. It can get loud and probably raucous when crowded (we went right after they opened on a Friday, and it was slow but picking up). OBC probably has the coolest aesthetics out of any brewery I've been to in town. It starts on the exterior, with a bull statue on the roundabout entrance. Inside, they have decor and artwork floor to ceiling, with industrial yet rustic vibes. Happy hour specials are Monday through Thursday with $1 off pints, $2 off flights (five 5oz pours). The flights are served on a wooden Ohio board which fits the name and feel of the place. They also have a wide menu, centered around pizza and flatbreads, but don't sleep on the burgers and sandwiches. read more

I like it. I want to come back. It feels a little out of the way from the other places you might hang out. I don't imagine I'll be walking here from anywhere. But drive over or get an uber. There's plenty of places you hang out within a mile of here. It's worth the trip. I tried 5 beers and liked 3 of them, which is pretty good! Flights are generous pours, but costs $14.50. Decent food options, but I didn't try anything. Apps, sandwiches, pizza, and flatbreads. Happy hour specials daily, but I didn't inquire, because I just needed to try a flight to find what I liked. The best thing about the place by far is the decor and the space in general. It's a former train station and post office turned box factory turned brewery. What a great building!! Hidden gem. The company has had a brewery out of the Cleveland area for over 20 years. They made the right choice opening up a space here in Columbus! My friend and I checked out Ohio Brewing Columbus for dinner and drinks. This was our first time visiting. The restaurant has plenty of parking spots. They also have a large outdoor dining section. When we arrived there were many open tables. The host greeted us and walked us to our table. The decor in the restaurant was unique, including a prop plane flown by Brutus. Starting off we ordered a couple of beers from their offerings. I got a Nitro Stout. It tasted good with a little bitterness. We also got chips with Beer cheese. The chips were crisp and paired well with the smooth cheese. For my entree I opted for the carnitas tacos. The carnitas tasted great, but the slaw made the tacos a little watery. Overall everything was good at Ohio Brewing Columbus. The price of the items is the only thing from going with a perfect score. I may visit again if they have any good happy hour specials. I got the Reuben. It was decent. The beer cheese and chips were delicious. The beer cheese was great. My husband got the Cuban and enjoyed it. It's pretty pricey for what you get. My Reuben was $16.50 and it was a $2 up charge for fries that I didn't realize til I got the bill. Yep friends got the carnitas flatbread and it has also no meat on it. I dunno. Large warehouse converted into a brewery/restaurant. Inside it is a two story, brick walled space with an active brewery on one side of the area and a restaurant on the other side. A bar is on the outer wall and services the inside and outside patio. There are about 12 house made beers to taste. The menu has a decent amount of items to choose from. Music is a little loud. We chose a flight of five beers, carnitas tacos, a blackened OBC shrimp salad that had a house made vinaigrette. The shrimp was a little small but lots of it. Probably got more shrimp on this than places that use bigger shrimp. It had an nice after kick. The flight was presented nicely. It comes out on a cute Ohio shaped cutting board with the beers cut into five holes. Out server, Addy explained all the choices and helped us find the perfect five. We came for a meetup group event but then sat at the bar and had a great time/first visit. This is a huge space with a large parking lot. I started with the Lil Vata, a Mexican lager, but then asked for a sample of the Lulet after seeing lavender in the description. I really loved it because of the taste of lavender. My second and third glasses were Lulet. My boyf had the Bowser because he is a huge Guiness fan. I later had the best sandwich ever - the Reuben Diane with a side salad instead of chips on the side. Turkey & Swiss with slaw, 1000 Island dressing on Rye. It was fantastic, as was the salad (good greens). All of the bartenders were very attentive, and one introduced herself, and said her husband (who was there also) is the brewmaster. She said they lived in Ireland for 7 years and learned about Irish beer there. On the walls are photos of Ohio-born celebrities. There were more than I even knew about. Stopped in to see the plane. No, really, I'm a wing nut, and when I heard about the Hyperbipe hanging overhead I had to go. There's a great patio outside, with some shade, but it was hot enough that we stayed inside. Bar, hightops, lowtops, plenty of seating. Excellent service. Even kid-friendly. We saw several other kids, and the server was on top of taking care of Baby K, which was much appreciated (extra ketchup, for example.) She had grilled cheese and fries. I tasted both, and they were pretty good. I had the beer bbq wings, which were meaty, and in a good sauce- sweet, a bit of bite, sort of a "brightness" from the beer? Came with veggies and dip. I also had a flight. The Kulbit, an IPA, was my least favorite, but then I'm not an IPA fan, just was enticed by the description. The rest were styles I like, and they were pretty good. The Pils was light yet full-bodied, if that makes sense. The Irish Red was an excellent example of the style, malty, tasty. Bowsie was a smoooooooth nitro porter, loved it. Then there was a lemon sour, forget the name, very good (if you're into sours like me.) Plenty of TVs showing sports. Visited Ohio Brewing Company while in town from Boston and this is a great spot! Very cool location, great food, well crafted brews and a chill vibe within the brewery. The staff was top notch, too, which made it an all in all great trip. The hummus appetizer hit the spot with warm, fresh pita bread and a nice selection of vegetables. I had the corned beef Reuben (sub for cheddar instead of Swiss) and the sandwich was really good. My wife went with the carnitas flatbread that was delicious while our oldest rocked the smash burger and our youngest went with the kid's grilled cheese. All sandwiches are served with homemade kettle chips that pair perfectly and could be enjoyed as an appetizer, as well. The menu had plenty of options with something for everyone ranging from salads to sandwiches to pizza to tacos. Probably one of our favorite spots on this trip to Columbus. This was the first time I went to Ohio Brewing Company and the space was very large. The brewery serves delicious food too. I got the Scioto Smashburger with fries was delicious and tasty and washed it down with Diet Coke. I will have to get their pizza and try brunch on weekends at Ohio Brewing Company. Great service with friendly staff. Despite it is based in the Cleveland area, but very happy they opened in Columbus. Very Ohio with photos of celebrities born in the state of Ohio and some knickknacks around the brewery. It is worth checking out for a beer, and/or food. read more

This place is kind of on an island, but checks a lot of boxes - really cool venue, great parking, pictures of famous people with Ohio ties, great beers, and good food! Our service was great to start, but tailed off a little as it got busier. It was a little more dimly lit than I would expect from a place that's basically a warehouse. Really excited to check this place out in the summer. Had the Lil Vata (Mexican Lager), Pitchback (Session IPA), and Bowsie (Nitro Irish Stout) - all 4.25+/5 beers in my eyes. Ohio Brewing Columbus is a massive space. It is very impressive from the moment you pull in to the parking lot. I was taken back at just how big it is. We found our selves there, at the bar with only 3 others sitting also at the bar. The restaurant was not slammed either. We felt so luck, like we beat the rush for the evening. We sat and waited to place our beer order. You know how that goes, you sit down at a bar and you want a beer, especially when it is a brewery. There were 3 people behind the bar, but none of them seemed to concerned about helping us. That was a theme throughout our visit at Ohio Brewing. When we finally got the opportunity to order a beer, we took a sip and we were not overly impressed. The beers seemed thin and mine had a funny after taste. We also ordered food when we got a chance. The pretzel app was not good. The picture in the menu did not fit what was brought out to us. The pretzels were like frozen pretzels that maybe were deep fried. Not my favorite at all. I also ordered their tacos, the protein was way over done. It lacked flavor, even though it was doused with cilantro. I don't know what they did to the food, but it was not tasty. Favorite stop on The Ale Trail so far. The place is only a few months old and it's a beautiful facility. The inside is an homage to local pop culture. There is also a plane hanging inside. They have one of the biggest patios I've ever seen and great parking. Service at the bar was excellent. Tried three different house beers and they were all delicious. This was our first visit to Ohio Brewing Company Columbus. We loved it! The dining room with the bar is spacious and decorated in a modern funky style. The centerpiece is the full size airplane hanging from the ceiling! I had their own Lulet witbier ; it had a unique mild taste with a faint aftertaste of lavender. Very delicious and refreshing. Their hummus platter, which came with fresh crispy vegetables, tasted very wholesome and authentic. Seasoned just right! Their "fun fungi" flatbread was plentiful to share with 2 people ( or more for smaller appetites). It bursted with fresh mushroom flavor, and had wonderful crispy crust. The servers were friendly and attentive. Several people, including the chef and the owner, stopped by to check on us. We are definitely coming back! read more

Went for brunch arrived at 10am the place was empty it was snowing. The nice waitress greeted us and later the chief. I had biscuits and gravy was good but a little spicy. For several months now I have been attending a board game meetup that meets at Ohio Brewing. Ohio brewing has always been very accommodating to our group where a few other businesses seemed annoyed by our presence. Ohio Brewing lets us occupy multiple tables. Our orders always come back fairly quickly and accurately (as far as I've seen.) Our meetup group almost always has the same server Jasmine. She is very friendly and I look forward to seeing her when our group meets. read more
