They had a self check in, which was super easy and efficient…read more The staff are friendly and accommodating The wait was less than 10 minutes just be seen by a nurse And within five minutes, I was seen by the doctor I had an allergic reaction to Semaglutide, but I also had a sinus infection and an ear infection. I have not been able to get out of bed for four days due to the massive headache that I had. Amy Cohagen DO was compassionate and gave me exactly what I needed to be on the mend. Antibiotic steroid but the magic was in the headache medication that she ordered for me. Within a few short hours, I was able to get out of bed and begin to have life normal again Keep in mind, had been to the ER the night before and was still desperate to get rid of my headache. The staff is warm and welcoming, always helpful, and they get to know you. This is something that makes this office extra special. I have recently moved away from Zanesville and after a year of not coming in for a visit, they called and left me a friendly message reminding me to come in for an annual check-up, just to secure my spot as their patient. I was living in Chicago at the time and unfortunately had to say my goodbye. Over the years I have become extremely thankful for every person that works in the office, not just Dr. Dunmeyer. I appreciated their trust in knowing me as their patient. The fact that they know and understand my needs and health issues, and always keep them in mind, means the world to me. It made things convenient and actually going to the doctor enjoyable. While I may not be visiting this office anymore, I know my family is. As I said in 2023 - "Good news - for blood work you don't need to go into the hospital itself but you go to the "testing center" which is in a separate (but attached) building just behind the hospital - easy to find and easy in and out". In 2023, I complained about how long it took. On my last few visits, I've been in and out pretty quickly. Yesterday, I signed in at 9:10 and was done and walking out the door at 9:25 - impressive service. The lab personnel are excellent and very efficent. I've had plenty of blood tests and have donated gallons of blood and the lab personnel are some of the best (translate that as I almost didn't feel it) blood tests I've had. My results were posted to MyChart before the end of the day.

Ten months later I receive a bill for $50. When I called billing they informed me that they updated my income information in Aug 2025 and lowered my priority level. They had between Aug and my appointment in November to notify me that I would have a $50 copy. I have to have cataract surgery and they said it would be $50. But since I no longer trust anything told verbally I asked for it in writing. The billing dept referred me to this location for a written quote and this location said they don't have the ability to send anything in writing. I guess they never heard of email and text. They did say there was a booklet that shows copays but again they dont have the ability to mail it to me. I guess they never heard of the United States Postal Service. These people should be so embarrassed to be employed by such a dysfunctional VA.

I did pre-registration online sped up the process during check-in and I was directed up to the appropriate area. This is not my favorite of the OSU hospitals as it's an older one, but the service was great. No complaints on the quality of care, or the staff. I had a scheduled ultrasound. I was very pleased with the time wait Customer Service I would recommend that procedure here. This hospital is a good option and maybe overlooked sometimes. Personally feel it's not as nice as the main hospital, or some of the suburb locations, but convenient location on the near east side. I would recommend and my partner has a hip surgery in April so will be able to see how that goes here as well.

In my haste of getting my child to emergency and thinking we would be there a couple of hours and go home I forgot my charger. Guess where the only courtesy charging stations are? Emergency room, guess who is rude a doesn't give a care about human things people go through when they come to the hospital? the emergency department. Why would I not be able to utilize the courtesy chargers. I'm here with my child have been here 3 days and needed my phone. I don't know if it's policy but the policy makes no sense.
