Juan and Mark saved the day! My check engine light came on while on the freeway so I was grateful to see this sign right off the exit by Oakland Airport. As soon as Juan started looking under the hood, he noticed that a hose had come loose. He had me get out of the car so he could show it to me, which I appreciated. He carefully reattached it, and then checked the oil level and transmission fluid level (both were ok). He ran a diagnostic test under the steering column and showed me the screen, confirming that the issue had been that Evaporative Emission System hose issue. Once fixed, the check engine light turned back off, success! Mark checked the services I'd had on record and pointed out that I hadn't had a fuel system injector cleaning, possibly ever? So he recommended that, said it would only take about 10 minutes; he also offered a small discount which I appreciated. The fuel system injector cleaning was wild, all this crazy smoke comes out of the car's exhaust pipe in back (they said this is normal / what's supposed to happen). And they said that afterwards, I should notice that I get better gas mileage and a smoother acceleration on the freeway -- which I definitely noticed while driving home. I have came here previously for my Camry and have now brought my Odyssey. As this a vehicle with milage on it, i was not sure of what was needed and Mark helped me out in letting me know the needs of the car. 10 minute speed oil change changed to Oil changer. Seems to be the same guys. I've always had a good experience here. Came in was greeted by a tech that assisted me through the car port. One other car on the other side. A gentleman let me know that they changed names about 8 months ago and the price increase about $20. I was in and out quick. They do courtesy light check. They also help me reset my maintenance light. Also changed my filter. I love that I can stay inside my car the entire time. I went early on a weekend which is probably the best time to go. Air filter and cabin filter were changed They are open 7 days a week! Which is nice because most places closed on Sundays read more

They get the job done but they aren't very professional. Maybe I showed up when it was slow but they're swearing, talking slang, joking around too much, and saying inappropriate stuff to each other. They charge $60 and then try and get you to buy add ons. They come off as a little untrustworthy and don't hold themselves to high standards with customer service. I have been a long time customer of this place for over a decade - when it was 10 Minute Speedy oil. I went today and they are now Oil Changers. The employee informed me that the price has increased 50%. Absolutely unacceptable. I looked up more about Oil Changers, they seemed to be owned by Private Equity douchebags. That at least explains the destruction of a once great small business. I'm getting my oil changed at my regular mechanic in Alameda now. They are actually modestly cheaper than the previous 10 minute Speedy price. This place has lost a lifetime customer. I'm sure they will lose more. Really sad to see happen. read more
