I started going to Oil Changers when I lived in Ramona and when I moved back to San Diego a year ago began to use the Poway location. They are uber professional, super friendly and provide fantastic service. I never feel like I am being pushed into extra services that are not needed yet they do let me know about routine maintenance items. This is important to me as a single mom when car maintenance is low on my list of priorities most days. They also take the time to interact with my 6 year old when he joins me; makes it a fun time for all. A friend of mine recommended Oil Changers and I was in need of an oil change bad. I have an German car so I was skeptical about coming here so I called and the gentleman assured me that they have the specific oil and oil filter that my car takes. He quoted $70.95 for the service and let me know they are a drive up, first come-first serve business. A few days later I pulled up, they serviced my car in friendly manner and I was out of there within 30 minutes. Completely amazed with the level of knowledge and customer service I received. Been coming to them ForEver, always great service, conversation. All my kids cars were taken there. These guys are why I still have my 1994 Honda Accord and 2003 Tahoe are on the road. Engines are in great shape. I do keep up on All recommended manufactures suggestions. They always tell me what will be recommended on next oil change and if it can wait. No surprises. I've been going to oil changers for over a year now & they never disappoint! They get everyone in & out quickly so you're never there for long & yet their quickness does not hinder their quality & customer service. All the guys are really nice but I love when I roll up & Ty is there. He always makes sure everything goes smoothly & quickly for both bays, he's very friendly & kind, & I can tell that he wants to make sure his customers are satisfied. As a manager in a the customer service world, I find him to be a star employee & I wish I could find employees with such great attitude, work ethic & customer service. But no matter who you get, they are great. I love that they aren't pushy about things that may need done. At the start of going to oil changers, my truck needed quite a few things flushed & replaced. They let you know what your vehicle could use but they aren't pushy about it at all. They suggested to me to just do one thing at a time so it doesn't break the bank. That's what I did & just let them let me know which were priorities & went down the list from there. It made it very affordable. Another great thing is, if you have a truck like mine that's older & eats oil quickly, you can stop by Oil Changers any time between your oil changes & they will fill your oil & top off all your fluids for free! If you're a woman, beware coming here! I'm super pissed that the guy who did my oil change flat out lied and did half the job. He was about to send me on my way after 15 minutes, but I didnt see him check my tires or fill my washer fluid. So I specifically asked him and he said - Yeah it'll reset once you drive off. LIAR! There was no other car waiting so to rush me out without completing the full service is RIDICULOUS. Shows a lack of integrity for sure!!! Four hours later same warnings appeared on my dashboard, washer fluid close to empty and tire pressure off by 5 psi. So I went back in before it closed. This time I spoke with the asst manager, Dave since the guy who worked on my car must have left for the day already. Yeah, he confirmed washer fluid on empty and tire pressure off on TWO tires by 5 psi. He said he's sorry it wasn't done. Well sorry is a waste of my damn time and trust. Get rid of the kid who straight up lied!!! My 3rd time coming and most likely my last! The $10 coupon given to me by Dave does not make up for poor dishonest service. What a damn waste of time!! Oh, btw the 2nd star is for Dave who was at least honest about it not being done earlier! Get rid of the guys who dont want to get the job done right the first time!!! read more

I had been delaying getting an oil change for over a month because I was dreading having to go somewhere and wait in a lobby for my turn and the work to be done but while looking on Yelp for recommended oil change places I found Oil Changers in Poway and the reviews were so good! I decided to go.... Well, they certainly surpassed my expectations. It's such a cool system they have. It's basically fast food but with an oil change. I didn't even leave my vehicle. I waited in line behind two cars, it took about 15 minutes then it was my turn. I pulled up into the garage and was instantly assisted by three guys. They got right to work changing the oil and even checked all the lights and tire pressure and fluids. The whole process took 10-15 minutes. They were very friendly and super professional. Today was my first visit after hearing rave reviews from a friend of mine. I paid $44.77 for a synthetic blend oil change and it was great! Upon arrival, three (3) guys helped me out with the usual oil change stuff PLUS they checked the overall health of my car (fluids, tires, lights, etc). They did an amazing job at troubleshooting a coolant leak and referred me to a local mechanic. They alerted me to the fact that my tires were completely balled (yikes!). And SPECIAL thanks goes out to KENNY, who installed my cabin filter (for free) that I hadn't gotten around to doing myself. Thank God too, because it was a weird one! This is a great place with great energy, happy guys, and awesome customer service! I highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

Very cheap for great customer service. 44 bucks for a quick change other places easily charge a minimum 100. They also, top off your tires and coolant as a courtesy which other places I've been to didn't do. James and Kennith are top notch individuals with a getterdone attitude. Loved this place! I usually go to Jiffy Lube for my oil changes, but I really didn't feel like dealing with saying no repeatedly to all the extra services and parts they would want to add on. In the past I had remembered driving past a sign advertising oil changes on my way to Jiffy Lube, and thought this time I would stop there to see what they were all about. I was soooooo relieved when during my oil change service, they didn't "add on" hundreds of dollars worth of things that I truly don't need. They took care of what I came there for. An oil change! I needed a new air filter, which was fine. I knew I already needed that. Of course they topped of all my other fluids and filled my tires with air. I had been coming to this location for years before I recently bought a new car. I started going to the dealership for my oil changes because the price was relatively the same. It wasn't until the dealer tried to sell me my 60,000 service for $600 that I realized I needed to go back to Oil Changers (I honestly don't know why I ever left: "If it ain't broke..." right?) As soon as I let the guys know what the dealership quoted me, they printed an estimate of what everything should actually cost me ($400 less than I was told). They even gave me a plan on what was the most important to do first, so the services would be spread out. To say I recommend this establishment is an understatement.
