    Yes, Beavis I really did call and schedule an appointment.

    When you allow teenage boys to run a store, they just want to you GO AWAY. Bought tires through Tire Rack and had this location install them (bought a maintenance agreement too) via online order. It's been nothing but downhill since install. 1) Scheduled an appointment online for a (paid for it) rotation. Guy calls and says just too busy, and can't honor appt, even several days later. They are just too busy, staff are sick, vacation, blah blah. Went elsewhere. 2) Had a flat tire. Scheduled appointment the next day via the online tool. Again get a call, just too busy, can't honor the appointment, how about you leave it with me, and we will get to it before we close? 3) Slow leak in tire. Scheduled appointment. Got a call back, no we can't honor the appointment after all. Had it patched elsewhere. 4) Final straw. Called yesterday (see photo), and talked with the guy who answered the phone. Gave him my phone number, and he repeats back ONLY the last two numbers (those numbers) and then laughs like Beavis and Butthead. Gross, be professional. Then Beavis says "I have your records here. Do you know where we are?" I said "near Denny's." He said "well yea, the shoe store. It's not that other place. People always confusing us with the place down the street. But we are all better looking ". Silent eye roll, "Can I schedule an appointment?" Beavis says "how about you leave it with us?". I respond "sorry can't. I can come by after 4:00PM any day this week". Beavis says "OK, how about tomorrow, but you might be waiting two hours". I respond "OK, I need the leak fixed". Beavis says "see you tomorrow at 4:00PM". Any reasonable person would take that as confirmation of an appointment, right? Guess again. I arrive at 3:45 PM and nope not on their books. Person behind the counter says "who did you talk to?". I relayed some of the information above. Person says "Sounds like me, but I was not working yesterday". Employee keeps waiting for me to tell them who I spoke with, and I am at a loss. Finally, I say I need to get a leak repaired. Employee says "can you leave it?". "Sorry no". Employee says "well it will be a while because there are several people in front of you". I responded, OK, but I did schedule an appointment. The employee says "Well I was not working yesterday and it's not on the books". At no time did the employee apologize and say "Clearly there has been a mix-up, let's get this figured out". Nope, just stuck in a loop repeating "it's not on the books, and I was not working yesterday". See other reviews about problems with appointments. Finally, I just give up and say "Well since I am not on the books anyway.." and turn to leave. The employee says "no worries". Really? OK well, I am glad YOU were not inconvenienced by Beavis and his mistake. From other reviews, I am not the only one having problems with appointments. Maybe Corporate should start pulling call logs, since "all calls are recorded". Regardless I am done with these Beavis and Butthead clowns. If my experiences above are what they consider "acceptable" (no worries) customer service, then clearly they do not need my business.

    This was outstanding service. All I needed was a tire repair. I called in the morning, they had me come right out. After I arrived I was checked in immediately. The repair took 30 minutes. All along the crew was friendly and courteous. Thank you for great service!

    They added a life warranty initially and then removed later after I found it.

    I can't recommend European Autocare and One Stop Shop highly enough…read more I was first introduced to European Autocare when AAA towed my Porsche Cayenne there after a strange issue where the audio system kept shutting down and draining the battery. The AAA driver recommended the shop, and I'm so glad he did. George, the owner, is a genuinely kind and honest gentleman. He spent about 20 minutes carefully diagnosing the problem and told me, very transparently, that it wasn't something his shop could fix--that I would need to go to the dealer for a replacement part. He didn't charge me a dime for his time. That level of honesty is rare. Since then, I've been going to him for regular maintenance on my older vehicle, and every experience has been excellent. The team is consistently professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Pricing has always been fair--no pressure, no upselling, and absolutely no price gouging. Recently, I needed help with a bumper issue on another car and found out George also runs a body shop in San Marcos. Even though they're normally closed on weekends, he made a special exception to meet me there. When I asked if I could pick up the car at his Rancho Bernardo location after the repair, he didn't hesitate to accommodate. On top of that, my car was extremely low on gas, and he told me not to worry about it--he'd take care of it so I could get back without any issues. That kind of above-and-beyond service truly earns lifelong customers. It's rare to find an auto shop that combines honesty, skill, fairness, and genuine care for customers. George and his team set the standard. I wholeheartedly recommend European Autocare in Rancho Bernardo and One Stop Shop in San Marcos.

    Two recent experiences. First a 2017 Mercedes 320E $1,900. 14 Days…read more An Active Light was replaced. The replacement took 10 days. Two weeks. I was disappointed Johnny did not point out the hood was scratched, so I had to go to the owner, George to get that repaired. The repair took a long time for a simple item then the car was damaged. When I complained they were not easy to deal with. Repair #2 Valve Gasket Covers on my 2005 ML500 $780. The job was done in less than a day, but when the car came back it smelled of gas so badly I called European Auto Care back but was advised they would not be able to review the problem for at least a week. The recently repaired valve cover still leaks, my new mechanic found a stripped screw among the at least five (5) loose screws - whilst re-securing the cover. European Auto Care needs to address some important issues.

    Bottom Line Upfront: Miramar Auto Repair is one of the best values of any auto shop in San Diego…read more Jason and Pedro were exceptional in taking care of me, and finding a solution to a very technical challenge. I brought in my Honda Ridgeline for an issue with my AC. Jason worked with me at the front-desk and went above and beyond to understand my issue and the troubleshooting I had already done. He explained to me CONCISELY what the feasible issue may be, and how they were going to approach a diagnosis. Jason was extremely knowledgeable, and followed up promptly to discuss the fix. Pedro was also exceptional. He found the issue (rodent-chewed wires) and repaired it perfectly. When I picked up my car, he was as excited as I was to have helped me. Before Miramar Auto, I took my truck to the Honda dealer, and they charged twice as much for a diagnosis, only to tell me that I would need a new compressor (incorrect diagnosis) and that it would cost twice as much as I ended up paying out the door at Miramar auto. I couldn't believe how easy Miramar Auto made it. To say that Jason, Pedro, and Miramar Auto are honest, fair, and made me feel taken care of... would be an understatement. They have rightfully earned another lifelong customer. Thank you Miramar Auto!

    Highly recommend for road trip prep!…read more This is an amazing place to get your vehicle inspected before a long road trip. I booked online, noted my concerns in the text box, and dropped my car off the next day. After checking in at the office, I walked Joey through my concerns and opted for a Post-Purchase Inspection. Joey sent over the findings quickly and gave me his honest, upfront opinion on what needed immediate attention before my trip versus what maintenance could wait until I reached my destination. He also provided a clear copy of the inspection quotes so there were no surprises. In the end, they completed the full inspection, replaced the car battery, and fixed a coolant leak for around $550+ (including taxes). I definitely recommend this shop! Pro-tip: Try to get there early in the day, as on-site parking and road traffic can get a bit hectic later on.
