The service for starters was to slow. I did transmission and the regular oil change. Also, one of workers commented on female pedestrian walking and looking like a homeless, and other comenta that I really wish not to hear, I believe his name is Irvin. Same persons commented on my kid crying and laughing. They are not professional at all, except for Taylor. He was slow but he did better than Irvin. My grandma came today for a oil change. The workers took care of her oil and fixed the missing screw to her oil pan. They made sure to send her off safely before getting back on the road. I've had Oil Changers as my go-to oil changing service b/c they're fast and thorough, and I like being 'in' their system. I also like the buy 3 and get 4 oil changes! I didn't fully realize until I actually 'did it' that I could come in between changes and that they'd take care of my car's fluids and check my tires which seemed to have been low. This customer service is a huge value as it provides an assurance that is frankly - - spectacular especially since there are so many Oil Changers to go to when not local! In particular, These 4 gents were really great and easy to work with. AND their magic turned off the light, leading to greater ease! I will not visit this place ever again, I was a permanent customer until I went with my Subaru and they recommended me to change the transmission oil and differentials when it was not necessary, now I have to make the changes again at the dealer to be able to get the right factory oil! The team at Oil Changers definitely were thorough with their service for my sedan. I was due for an oil change and decided to come by this location since they had serviced my car previously for a coolant top off. The value for the service you're getting is definitely worth it, many other places may charge a lot more than this location. I would consider it budget-friendly since they aren't trying to sell you unnecessary services. Every employee seemed very respectful and polite with all of the customers. I truly felt like I was being taken care of service wise. Michael and Kimbe were quick to answer any questions I had regarding my vehicle's fluids and sensors. They also made sure to not make me feel pressured like many other businesses have. I would also like to add on that the ambience for the employees seemed great and refreshing. All of the employees kept a great work pace and did not seem to slow down at any moment while I was there. Management seems to be doing a great job with this specific location! Got my pil change yesterday, woke up today with a puddle of oil under and around my car. Came back to get it resolve found out my oil filter housing wasn't tight and was replaced with a plastic one from the metal one i installed. Kimbe one of the tech was nice enough to replace it with a metal one for free but it never should have happened. Went in for a quick oil change since oil change since car was due for one 700 miles ago ! & gentlemen at this service were so thorough! Especially Mr. Anthony he was so nice and professional. He gave us the heads up of all the necessary tune ups the car needed like coolant change and air vent change.. which I know he was being honest but unfortunately didn't have the funds to change right away. He went above and beyond double checking our lights and warning us one of the back lights were out. Support this local gem they are good at what they do! They provided great service. I had gone to speed lube that's nearby and they lied by saying that they couldn't do my oil change because of my trucks skid plate. The staff is ghetto. They are not trained on all vehicles. They are argumentative. Very time consuming. More than likely have to return due immediately after leaving, they don't put your vehicle back correctly. Poor service. Synopsis: Need Oil Change & Washer Fluid Refill (washer fluid light on). We have been giving various different Oil Changers business for over 20 years. Whenever we moved, we would find the closest Oil Changer location. Whenever the closest location's customer experience would derail, we would go to the next closest or even an Oil Changer closer to our work in a different city altogether. At the end of the day, Customer Experience & Integrity is everything to us because like most people .... we work very hard for our money. This review is primarily directed at the clean cut young man wearing glasses who appeared to be the one running the shop along with 2 asian men (twins I think) and 1 other younger hispanic man. We were 2nd in line with a car in front of us getting serviced. While waiting, we were able to observe the before-mentioned employee with glasses servicing the car in front of us....giving last minute routine instructions to the driver (customer) to check the signal lights and the brake lights. He appeared to have a friendly attitude and doing his job well. However, when we were done with our oil change (paid and signed paperwork), I noticed my washer fluid light was still on. So while the hood remained open, I asked the man with the glasses if the washer fluid had been completely filled to which he confidently replied, YES. When I asked if he is sure because my washer fluid warning liight is still on, (while he remained standing beside me on the driver's side) he said, "Yeah I can tell it's FULL." Guess what? Yupp, you guessed it ..... came home to find that the washer fluid tank was still completely empty. What a HUGE disappointment. APPARENTLY HE JUST GLANCED OVER AND LOOKED AT THE BLUISH TINT THAT LOOKS LIKE THERE WAS WASHER FLUID STILL INSIDE THE WASHER FLUID TANK INSTEAD OF ACTUALLY CHECKING MORE THOROUGHLY BY OPENING THE CAP AND INSPECTING THE INSIDE. QUESTION IS .... HOW CAN YOU TRUST THAT THIS OIL CHANGER SHOP WILL DO THE RIGHT THING IF YOU AGREE TO GET OTHER SERVICES DONE??? As they say, the employees are only as good as their leaders. Last impression was a total opposite from his first impression .... he appeared so professional when we were observing him while waiting, but once he figured we were not interested in anything other than the oil change, it seemed as though he couldn't wait to have us leave. I looked at the time and it took less than 10min which was fine, but bow I know why - Fast & Efficient is great, but NOT if you are going to do a half a$$ job. (Oh yeah .... I had to for these guys, they went above and beyond any customer service I've ever seen. They politely explained that I didn't even need an oil change yet and they kept my 5 year old Son entertained. Giovanni made sure that my car was serviced first even though the lane I was at is not done yet because he recognized that I have been waiting in line. Thank you!!! Second, he was so apologetic that they ran out of the type of oil filter for my car so he gave me a discount and sent me to their other branch (5 mins away from this location). At the Hiltop location, Malik took care of me. I still had to wait despite the time I've already spent waiting in the El Portal location. Nevertheless, everything was taken care of. So thank you to the main guy who changed my oil, he was trying his best to keep the business going and stay professional. Not sure what his name is, but he wears glasses. So some girls got their car stuck in one of the lanes. They were obviously mad and blaming one of the workers. This is where this review goes from a 5 star to a 2 star. The worker who I guess was directing them felt like he was going to get blamed for that car falling so he starting cussing right in front of my car. He was yelling to fire him, and that it wasn't his fault. The guy changing my oil tried getting him to chill. It was super awkward for me to be hearing all this. This isn't the first time a mistake like this has happened at any oil change place with a set up like this . So all that unprofessional tone I blame whoever the manager was . Should have calmed his worker down and told him this type of things happen once in a blue moon. And that worker who lost his cool needs to understand that whoever fault it is , it will be on their cameras. He was yelling calling them bi**hes... I get it that the girls were acting like immature children, but as a business person don't retaliate! Especially in front of a brand new costumer. I live down the block and would have loved to come back here. Also this sticker I was given gave me my current mileage and today's date instead of the "when to change date and mileage." I feel like it was a mistake because everyone was uncomfortable. They homered the Yelp coupon, and the main guy with glasses changed the oil and taller guy cleaned my windshield.
