    I brought my vehicle to Pinole Goodyear for tire installation and unfortunately, during the service, the protective finish on my rims was chipped. I immediately brought this to the attention of the management, led by John Jarvis, and provided photos documenting the damage. My biggest concern was not just the damage itself, but the lack of accountability in how the matter was handled. Instead of working toward a fair resolution, I felt my concerns were dismissed and no effort was made to take responsibility or offer a solution. I value professionalism and care when it comes to servicing my vehicle. In my experience here, my property was not handled with the level of care I expected, and the follow-up from management left me disappointed. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback so others can make informed decisions and so the shop can improve its approach to customer service and accountability.

    Had a really bad nail in my tire while driving up to my family's house during the holidays. Did a quick google search and it lead me to Pinole Goodyear. Despite some of the reviews I decided to give it a shot. Was greeted by Victor and Tim, who then helped me fix my tire and got me back on the road in a timely manner to not miss valuable time with my family. They were fairly price and made my issues feel important and heard. I would high recommend going here and asking for Victor or Tim.

    I have been coming to this tire shop for about a year now. I got a great deal on a set of tires and have returned every few months for tire rotation. John is super responsive via email and the service is quick enough that if I ask for the earliest appointment, I can still make it to work on time afterward. A few months ago, I hit a curb and one of my tires was completely destroyed. I called this shop to ask if they had my tire in stock and when they confirmed, I had my car towed there. The tire was replaced in less than half an hour and I was able to make it to work! I declined the tire insurance when I purchased the tires and wished I didn't! I highly recommend you get the insurance (which I believe was an extra $20/tire) if you drive a lot. Inside, there is a small sitting area with phone chargers and an outlet. They don't have their own public wifi but there is a strong Xfinity connection if you have an account. Overall, quick and responsive service - happy to continue coming here for all my tire needs!

    Frank Is Still There!!…read more A couple of years ago, Frank told me he would be retiring in the next calendar year. I took his word for it and didn't bother him for my auto repair needs earlier this year (2022). Then my every other year smog situation reared its ugly head, and I was faced with not passing--again. Mind you, my vehicle had passed with flying colors up until four years ago. Then Frank figured out it was a vacuum line. I believe I reviewed the situation then (2020). This time around, I had a feeling I wouldn't pass. The feeling was correct. My NO PPM values were way too high. I decided to take a chance and see who was currently at the helm of A & B. FRANK WAS THERE! I was beside myself with happiness to see him sitting behind the desk when I walked in. I reminded him of which vehicle I had and I told him I'd bring in the previous paperwork to job his memory. I won't go into all of the details in between as not everyone is a car nut like I am. Frank figured out it was the EGR valve that was throwing the NO readings off. He made time for me the following week when he could store the vehicle inside overnight. I brought it on a Tuesday and it was ready by Thursday afternoon. He even took it to get retested! There just doesn't exist this level of customer service in basically any business anymore. Frank is fair, has reasonable rates, and doesn't tell you tall tales. I hope he doesn't retire soon. He is such an asset to the community! Please tip him and his staff if you take your car there. I do and they deserve it!

When I arrived a male employee was helping another customer‍....silently. The employee looked at me, we made eye contact he looked away. No problem. I can wait. I waited silently reading work emails from my phone. The employee continued to click away on the mouse and look at the computer monitor. Another male employee came out shoved some papers around behind the counter for 2-3 minutes, never bothered to look in my direction or greet me. I continued to wait silently, but checked my phone and it has now been at least 5 minutes without either employee greeting me or saying "we will be right with you." The original employee finished helping the other customer ‍, I stepped forward expecting a greeting, the employee just looked at me without speaking. He finally said, "how can I help you" after a few moments of awkward silence, when I craned my neck out and farrowed my brow in confusion. I said, "I have a service light on in my dashboard and I've noticed the transmission is making an odd sound. I'm wondering if I could leave my car with you and you can check it out and let me know what might be going on." Employee: "oh...yeah. I'm not sure we can. We are pretty slammed today..." I open my mouth to start to ask about an opening the next day but I'm interrupted by the employee. Employee: "and probably not tomorrow. I have like 9 cars coming in tomorrow." Me: ‍ "ok thanks." ‍ As I pull out of the drive way I see both employees chatting watching me, while one motions in my direction. The look on his face was not concern or regret that didn't have time to provide me with service. Feel free to draw whatever conclusion you feel is appropriate. My conclusion is don't try and give somebody your money that doesn't want it for whatever superficial reason. ‍

I already knew that I needed my serpentine belt changed due to it still being the OEM belt from when I first bought my car. After looking around, I came across Neoworks and made contact. A huge shout out to the team at Neoworks for the great service! I needed my serpentine belt replaced, and they handled it efficiently and with great communication. It's hard to find an honest, family-run shop like this. The whole process from quote to service was seamless. The owner is clearly very experienced, pricing was transparent and explained quite thoroughly and the turnaround time was very impressive. I'll definitely be back for future maintenance so if you're looking for reliable auto repair in El Sobrante or the East Bay, go to Neoworks. Truly a 5-star experience!

Had no issues with my car...running smooth and just an oil change and diagnosis reading...once all the work was done, he didn't seem to remember why my car was here & he drained the battery on my car w the reading and couldn't figure out how to use the diagnostic reader & we both had to look. My car was making weird sounds and so much vibrations it was scary. He couldn't show me what was the reason because the battery was shot. He couldn't get the reader...I said the reader says - low battery I had to pay half the battery LOL I had to ask several times for proof what was done. Spent almost 5 to 6 hours there and then had to pick up next day..my fiancé went and he still had to ask for final paperwork. Disappointed wanted to like this place...highly do research and don't always follow good reviews...this was a horrible stressing experience
