8/8/2025 I just pulled in today and was the first one there, Dan greeted me immediately and guided me in, Jen, assisted by taking all my information, everything was spot on, they had very personable attitudes and it seemed like they really enjoyed their jobs as well as assisting others. I joked with them and they responded. I love when you can talk with somebody and they are professional yet they have a sense of humor and are very willing to engage which made my time there seem to go quicker. The two that helped were super chill and quick, and I was embarrassingly past due on my oil change, so they informed me on the best way to go about that. The previous owner also used synthetic blend, so we made sure to switch from that as well. The price for the time it took for services was well worth it. The people seem to do good work and are friendly and fairly competent. You can get in fast and they do the work fairly quickly. Sounds good, eh? Well, they are insanely expensive. I normally get synthetic oil because it is so much better, but I was afraid to ask about the cost. For a small sedan using standard oil + tire rotation, it cost $112!!!! Even with oil prices inflated, there is no justification for that. Chalk this place up to Spokane being one of the most corrupt areas in the country. Edit: I responded privately to the owner's comment and crickets. That says it all and justifies a 1-star rating. I didn't give them a name, so obviously you won't find it. It is not a matter of believing that Spokane is corrupt. It wins or ranks high in Forbes's Most Corrupt Cities list every year. It is fact. Update on bad oil change. So the company sent someone out this morning to clean the driveway and the engine. So far...he's gone and all that has been done is installing a new oil filter and adding oil. No cleaning of the engine and our driveway is still soaked with the oil that drained out of his car... no compensation has been offered for the 4 days we went without the vehicle. But his daughter made it safe and sound frombher flight and he was able to borrow his friends car to pick her up on time from the seattle airport as well!! Imagine running into the grocery store for a loaf of bread and carton of milk and an obnoxious employee follows you around telling you why you need to buy some lobster and t-bones, too. If you think you'd enjoy that, then you'll love Spokane Quick Lube. Engine flushes do not appear in any auto manual as a scheduled maintenance and a quick google search indicates that it is almost always an unneeded scam. I used to like Spokane Quick Lube precisely because they didn't do this annoying upsell when I came in. Last week I visited this Spokane Quick Lube for the first time. I hope my experience here was the exception, but it does cause me to wonder upon reflection. I'm going to suggest that all of the five star reviews you are about to read were made by people who were probably blissfully unaware of any issues or problems noted by many one star reviewers here. Based on my experience today, these guys are seriously lacking some really basic skills that are needed to run this shop. When you read the one-star reviews, they are telling the truth! This is not the place you want to come to get your oil changed! My advice to you is to avoid this place at all costs, otherwise you will VERY LIKELY REGRET IT. First of all, I'M REALLY GLAD I STAYED IN MY TRUCK WHILE THEY WORKED ON IT! This is because the young man who wanted to put air in my tires (just my luck it was his first day on the job!) read the label on the inside panel of my truck where it says 35 psi. Unfortunately my tires are not anything like the standard tires issued to my truck when it was built - they are a much larger aftermarket size, and the tires say 80 psi. The kid would not have even looked at the recommended PSI stated on the tires unless I had asked him to. But then he got really confused and wasn't sure about what to do. Even worse, the actual pressure in my tires when I pulled into their shop was at about 55 (thank you Walmart, another place to avoid!). Long story short, the kid was getting ready to fill my tires at 35 PSI, and not the recommended pressure stated on the tires. After talking with two two other agents who were working on my car, we went back and forth about what the PSI ought to be and finally landed on 70. I am two days away from taking a very long road trip so I'm really glad I was sitting in my truck and could chat with these guys so I didn't roll out back on the road with nearly flat tires! When they finished with the oil change, I went inside to get checked out and the man who was working with their computer and the card reader came to the end of the transaction after about 10 minutes and said he had goofed somehow. He said he didn't think that my card had actually been charged. But I looked at the ticket that got spit out of their card reader and it said that it had read my chip and gave out an approval code for the amount of my bill. So I said I think my card was charged for this transaction. About that time, another gentleman who I believe was the general manager of this team of men (Andy) entered into The Fray, spent another 15 minutes looking over the transaction and finally told me he didn't think I had been charged and that he was going to kill the transaction and return the money to me (if anything had indeed been charged to my card) because the previous guy had made a mistake and it actually refunded me the amount of my bill. Andy was strongly leaning in the direction that my card had not been charged. So I whipped out my smartphone and got into my bank account and showed him that indeed I had been charged for the amount of my bill. The amount of time it took them to check me out up to that point was about 25 minutes. Needless to say I felt very uncomfortable by their inability to Simply process the transaction for services rendered. There were a number of things going on between 5 different guys that made made me feel very uneasy. In my view, nobody should be allowed to pump air in tires or work on the transaction process unless they have been thoroughly trained. They were a nice crew, polite and all - but the experience was not even close to reassuring. It was a comedy of errors. I left the place wondering what other potential mishaps might have occurred under the hood that I didn't know about. Like, did they strip the threads on the oil pan or plug? Okay, story time! I came in for an oil change. Ten minutes later I was told I needed my breaks done. My mechanic dad did my breaks and rotors literally a month ago, but okay. He tried to tell me my break pads were completely depleted and ruining my rotors. AND THEN he said I need to have my transmission flushed because the fluid was black, ALSO had that done TWO months ago. ANNNND THENNNNNN apparently I need a new air filter. Which I also just replaced recently. And apparently I have "major" oil leaks but I've never seen one in my driveway until AFTER I took my car there. Weird. I hope the people that manage this store see and respond to this. What a god damn mess. read more

Save your money and go elsewhere. I accidently overfilled my oil in the ace parking lot across the street, so I pulled into their shop asking for them to pump out a couple of quarts. They told me they couldn't do it, but that I could order the $29.95 oil change special. I agreed. Unknown to me until after they'd completed the work, the special only includes up to 5qts of oil. I needed 7, so my bill came out to around $40 + tax. Now after 3 months of driving around 1k miles, the oil is already very dirty. It turns out they installed a smaller oil filter than the normally recommended one and I have my doubts about the quality of the oil too. I was upset about the final charge and after my discovery of the undersized filter, I won't be returning and can NOT recommend them at all. read more

Took my car in for a oil change. They charged me 110.52. while there they asked me if I knew I had chips in my windshield. I said yes I knew, but was in a hurry to pick my mother up from an appointment. Today I get a call from my insurance company and apparently they filed a claim for fixing the repairs, but I have chips in my windshield and have pictures for the insurance company to see nothing got fixed. Transmission fluid change scam. I had my 2010 Fusion serviced by the Division St Spokane Quick Lube in November 2014. At that time there were 23K miles on the car (I don't drive much). The tech showed me a card with a drop of tranny fluid on it that appeared discolored. He said the recommended change interval was 30K miles. I went ahead and had the fluid changed. Later I looked in my owners manual and the recommended change interval is at 150K miles. Oh well, live and learn I thought, and the fluid he showed me did look discolored. My next oil change was done at a different shop, with no mention of a tranny fluid issue. Today, I had the oil changed by the valley Spokane Quick Lube location, and again the tech brought a card in with discolored tranny fluid on it and recommended a tranny fluid change, I pointed out that the fluid had been changed only 10K miles previously at a different Spokane Quick Lube store and that the factory change recommendation was 150K miles, not 30K miles. The tech had sort of a "busted" look on his face. I went ahead with the oil change but obviously declined the tranny fluid change. The moral of this story is: check your owners manual on any service these guys recommend before letting them anywhere near your vehicle. read more

This review is for the 30th Ave South Hill location. Brought my car to them last time for an LOF and Whitney did the work. This time Brandon told that the oil filter is on so tight if they remove it they'll break it off and I won't be able to drive my car. Told me I need to take it to a mechanic to remove it and replace it. I asked if they'd take financial responsibility for the mechanic bill and Brandon said they would only give me $20 off even though they are the ones who put it on last time. Then Brandon then told me they were having problems with Whitney bad mouthing his coworker to me and that's why he's working there now. Very unprofessional. I drove away and noticed my Regular Service light was still on. I go back and ask Brandon to reset it. Apparently Brandon can't read directions. Then he gives up. Then Whitney comes over with a oil service reset tool and plugs it in and can't follow it's directions. They spent 15 minutes trying to figure out the oil service light on my car and I just told them I would reset it myself. After the $137 bill I thought they could at least reset my service light, but apparently not. read more

I took my car home after an oil change at Spokane Quick Lube in Spokane Valley on Sprague near Adams and parked it in the garage. An hour later I notice wet black oil spots on the floor. I returned to the place and complained to the person in charge. They checked the car and told me the black oil was probably caused by the technician not having tightened the oil plug and probably forgot to change the oil filter even though they charged me for one. They changed the oil again and this time with the filter. Returned home. More oil spots on the garage floor. Another trip bacl to the oil change place. This time they inspected the car and told me they could see there was oil seeping from the engine-transmission interface. Not their problem. Subsequently took the car to the dealership for an inspection. They called me into the shop to show me there was only leakage from the engine oil drain plug. The engine-transmission interface was dry. Returned to Spokane Quick Lube (4th trip) to ask for my money back. I was told they had no authority to return my money so they called the owner and told me he was not available but his wife promised that he would call me. That was 4 days ago and in spite of leaving a message for a call back he apparently can't be bothered. It is rare to run into this level of incompetence, negligence, untruthfulness and general lack of integrity. I wont be back any time soon. Strongly suggest avoiding this organization. read more

Looking to support local businesses...this is one I recommend. I took my winter car in today for an oil change....the team was professional, friendly, courteous and consultative. They replaced/ installed needed tail lights, wiper blades and advised it was time for a tire change which I get for free at another place I LOVE. (Les Schwab). They were so great that I returned a few hours later with my spring, summer and fall luxury car. They replaced a burnt bulb & wiper blades. Showed me a larger window pit/chip and advised that my insurance co would repair at no cost (I had no clue...a 5 minute phone call resulted in the repair being authorized and fixed within 15 minutes) These guys were great...... All of the workers were efficient, knowledgeable, and kind about explaining the importance of vehicle maintenance to keep my car as safe as possible and running at top performance. After using Jiffy Lube in various cities and states throughout the years, I ended up here because they had no line. I am so glad I did. The young men at this establishment were AMAZING. The customer service was superb. Beyond all the normal things like oil change, transmission flush, etc, one of the guys took time to tell me my Serpentine belt looked cracked and although he did not have the tools to fix it there, I should have it looked at. He also looked at my window, which would not roll up, and let me know he thought the motor was fine. I had an appointment with Honda later the same day. The serpentine belt WAS cracked and they recommended replacing it and the window issue was NOT the motor. It is not often you find employees willing to go above and beyond anymore. Representative said I should have read the fine print. Quite sure they charged me for 6 but only put in 4 when I said would not be back (checked the stick). I have been to the Sprague & Adams location 3 times in the last 5 years. The 1st visit was in my mountaineer. They offered to do a complete fluid swap (oil, front and rear differentials & transfer case) for $100 so I went ahead and said OK. Curious, I asked them what they were using for the transfer case because I had read that the all-wheel drive transfer case in the Mountaineers required transmission fluid, not gear lube like a standard truck transfer case. They told me they had a universal transfer case fluid that was fine for all transfer cases. They had already swapped it out so I ASSUMED they knew what they were talking about. Well, about a month later when I would turn corners my car would make moaning and bumping noises and the front tires would chirp sometimes on dry pavement. Obvious to me that the clutches in the all-wheel drive transfer case were damaged now. I called them and told them what happened and gave them a link to a website that showed what they were supposed to have used in the transfer case. The said to come in again and they would take a look at it. I ended up trading it in for a minivan the next week so I never brought it back. The 2nd trip in was with my Bronco. I just needed the oil changed. I can't hardly change the oil myself for $19 so I figured I would give them another chance. They had changed managers but the new manager told me that since I had a bad experience before he would only charge me $10 for the oil change ($9 credit for a ruined transfer case...lol). While changing the oil they brought in their tool that shows % of water in your brake fluid and told me that mine was over 4% water and needed to be flushed. I told him no, that I had just changed the master cylinder and rear brake cylinders and flushed all the lines last week and put in all new fluid. He just shrugged and said "Well, that's what the meter says." I told him he had a broken meter. They came back in a few minutes later and said "Your transmission fluid looks like it needs changed also" and they had the card with the different color fluids. Again I told them no, that the transmission is new and has less than 15K miles on it. Again, they just shrugged and said "Well it looks like it is dirty." I left with just the oil change. The final time I went there (because I will never go again) was just last winter for an oil change on my van. They tried to upsell me to long life oil. I told them no, that I change the oil every 3 months or 3000 miles and that my van only has 50K miles on it. I don't want the high mileage oil. They then came in a few minutes later with the same tool to measure the brake fluid water content. Before he even said anything I said, "Oil change only please. I don't need my brake lines flushed, thank you" He kind of smiled and turned back around and went out the door. So, what has appeared to be the case to me is that they have their staff there trying to sell people on more service, which I understand. It's the fact that they will lie to you in order to get that extra business that I don't appreciate. I am a pretty forgiving person. That is why I gave them a few extra chances but they have proven that they do not run a professional business here and bank on customers who don't know squat about their cars believing them when they tell them they need further service, whether they do or they don't. It's tough to find a real, honest mechanic these days. I typically do most of my own auto work but again, for $20 and not having to lie on my back in my garage or screw with dirty oil it was worth it to me to at least try them out for an oil change. If you know what you are talking about and just want the cheap oil change and can tell them no, you don't need all the extra crap then maybe it is worth the $20 change but I don't think I will be giving them any more chances. read more

I went in yesterday afternoon to get my oil changed. Nice crew, changed my oil in record time, because I was on a bit of a time crunch. Got done, ran another errand and was on my way home when my oil light came on. I turned around and went back to the shop. They checked the dip stick and said that it was full, but we're really "glad I came back". They emptied the oil and replaced the said oil and filter. I again, was done in record timing and went on my way, to this time only to get a mile and my check engine light was now on... turned right around went back in and this time they tried to hook up their diagnostic computer, and that was not working properly. They at this point need me to go to the Argonne store so they can better diagnose the problem... the guys at the Argonne store were awesome, they were ready for me to get there and were helpful. Come to find out the shop on Progress and Sprague put on the WRONG OIL FILTER!!!! OMG! ISN'T CHANGING OIL AND FILTERS YOUR "SPECIALTY?!" The original store did give me a full refund and try to make the situation better, but I will never be back to the Progress shop. Nice guys, but extreme lack of knowledge. Thank you to the Argonne store for fixing the problem, and my car before catastrophic damage may have been done. read more

Horrible. Went to the one on Division, but it's not listed here, so... I specifically asked for an "oil change and only an oil change." They pulled out my air filter, pulled out my PCV valve (covered in oil), put the PCV valve IN my air filter, crunching the filter, as well as all the various caps covered in dirt and grime. They then proceeded to tell me that I needed a new air filter. My air filter was changed at the last oil change so could go another 9k miles, but since they destroyed it, they told me that I had to buy a new one from them. Uhh.. no. They were incredibly rude and said that they did this to everyone! If you walk in asking for ONLY an oil change, you don't rip stuff apart. Why would an oil change place take out the PCV valve anyway? It's not a routine maintenance item. Go to Jiffy Lube or some other reputable place. This one sucks. read more

I have been to this business three times now, and my cars have had problems afterwards twice. The first time I went there, I had the employees change a head light bulb for me while I got the oil changed. The light worked for a day and then stopped. I ended up having to take it to another repair shop where they told me that a piece was missing, so the light didn't have enough of a connection to work. On a more recent occasion, I got the oil changed in another vehicle. I got the premium service so I would get all the fluids topped off. I heard the employees yell "Oh shit!" and something about "her car." When someone came inside, I asked what the yelling was about. He said he didn't hear any yelling. I told him what I heard and he said there must have been a drunk guy outside. I then asked if they got to all 11 grease zerks on the vehicle, and he did not give me a straight yes or no answer. He did tell me that the transmission looked fine. The following day, all the fluid drained from the transmission and it overheated. I will not be returning to this business. read more

Recently went to Spokane Quick Lube on Sprague for a transmission flush. Immediately after leaving, my transmission started slipping every other time I push on the gas. I bought some Lucas and when my husband went to put it in, he also checked the transmission fluid and not only does it look just as bad as when I first brought it in to Spokane Quick Lube, it's a quart and a half low. Not going to jump to conclusions here but it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say I just spent over $100 for absolutely nothing to be done to my car and am hearing from other friends, a lot of them have had problems here as well. Now I understand their super poor ratings on Yelp and Facebook. Would not recommend to a friend unless said friend likes to throw money out the window. I went to the location on Adams and Sprague. As i was trying to enter the garage the manager was talking to somebody in a vehicle which was blocking both bays. I sat there waiting for the employee to acknowledge the fact i was trying to do business with them and to ask his friend to move. he ignored my presence so i was forced to get out of my vehicle and ask the employee to tell their friend to move. I paid for a full service oil change and radiator flush totaling over a hundred dollars and asked them to pay special attention to the front differential as i believe it was low on fluid. They assured me they checked it and it was fine. A few days passed and i started noticing smoke coming from under my hood. it smelt like radiator fluid. Strange how this would be happening immediately after the service. I took it upon myself to inspect their work and noticed that nobody had even accessed the front differential to check the fluid. I also found written on my skid plate in tamper seal the word rude. its hard to believe that a business would be ran like this. I went in there immediately and confronted the manager only to be treated as if i was worthless. The were incredibly rude and refused to remedy the situation. one of managers claimed to be in the pit that day and asked me in a threatening manner if i was saying he vandalized my vehicle, I told him that if in fact he was the one doing the service he must be the vandal. he then asked why he would write the word rude on my vehicle without me providing him with that information ultimately giving himself up. I told him i wanted to notify the owner of their practices and he laughed in my face and said that's not going to happen. He told me to leave. I went back to the other manager and said i was going to involve the police due to the vandalism and he became very intimidating and replied he would call the cops on me for trespassing. as i was leaving the smaller manager started to yell threats at my back while i was walking away. I notified the other locations manager of my issues with this branch and the manager there told me she would notify the owner. a day has passed and i have not received any contact from anybody to resolve this issue. read more
