I take all of my vehicles here. Service is usually pretty good but last trip got an incredibly rude & impatient employee. He dripped fresh oil all over the manifold, radiator, water pump, & engine valley. I had to clean it off in my hot garage when I got home. After this unpleasant experience, I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere. After years of friendly service on 3 of my vehicles, today was such a disappointment. read more

So it was going to be my first time coming here for an oil change and I arrived about 20 minutes before the store opened and plan to sit and wait in my car. A worker with long dreadlocks came out to put a sign out prior to them, opening looked at me with a dirty look and said we're not even fucking open yet and proceeded to go back inside. I rolled down my window and said I know you're not open. I was waiting for you to open, but now I'm leaving and I'll go elsewhere. He didn't say anything and walked back inside the business. I normally appreciate the convenience of staying in my car during an oil change, but I was genuinely concerned by the lack of air circulation or cooling for both customers and employees at this location. During the summer heat, customers are expected to remain in their vehicles while waiting, and the I want to start by saying that I have absolutely no complaints about the customer service at this location. The employees are friendly, professional, and work incredibly hard. They deserve recognition for the great job they do. My concern is with the working conditions, especially during the extreme summer heat. Customers are expected to remain in their vehicles while waiting, and there doesn't appear to be any cooling or air circulation for either customers or employees. Sitting in a hot car for an extended period can be very uncomfortable, and I can only imagine how difficult it is for the staff working in those temperatures all day. I've visited another Oil Changers location in Elk Grove where they use air nozzles that blow cool air into customers' vehicles while they're waiting, and they also have fans running to help keep the employees cooler. It made a huge difference in comfort and showed consideration for both customers and staff. I hope management considers making similar improvements at the Yuba City location. Adding fans, cooling systems, or air nozzles would help create a safer, healthier, and more comfortable environment for everyone. The employees work hard and deserve those protections, especially during periods of extreme heat. read more

I have 5 cars/trucks and had been using Oil Changers because they were newer and allowed me to get out of my car so I could vape. I would just stand outside the door out of their way in case they needed me to start the car, etc. However, I went there again on 6/8/26 and the "big boss" tells the kid that was writing up my order that I had to stay in the car, so I promptly told them later and I will never go back there... they just lost 5 cars. First time coming to this place for an oil change. Usually my husband takes my car in at this place. When arriving I was unsure how they were wanting me to park or what spot. A gentlemen was parked in the middle spot out of the three parking slots. The area is uneven and slanted. I parked where I assumed you would go that would be more reasonable. Apparently, I picked wrong with choosing the spot. The guy came out and kept giving me dirty looks and made me park into another spot. Just completely rude demeanor and moody using body language expressing frustration with me directing me. I get that they just opened up and it is early ,but there is no reason to use rude gestures and express an attitude. Then the other person pulled up to the spot he told me to move from and the guy did the same thing to them. After seeing that, I decided to back out and leave. Never will I come here or have my husband take my car here! If I'm able to be nice after a 13 hour night shift coming to get an oil change after work. Why cant this business at least have some integrity and at least use some form of manners. Even a smile with telling me to move or some signal that was less rude. I had no issue with moving my car to the spot the older guy directed me to. It was negative body language and attitude and impatience. On top of that theres traffic behind me. Im sorry if I kind of have to safely move when moving into a small area close to a main road full of traffic. I am so sick and tired of ppl who act like this at businesses such a disappointment. Here I am dealing with violent people at my job and work in a first responder environment and still show the public kindness and use professionalism. Kindness and good manners and proper communication goes a long ways! I tried to weigh it out and thought maybe he was a bit overwhelmed but even when I rolled down my window and apologized and allowed him to know it was my first time coming here. He still chose no correction in behavior. I was hoping my experience was going to be pleasant due to my husband coming here and some positive reviews. Maybe my husband was lucky and got the more genuine employee to work with for the last oil change. I guess my experience sucked very shocked this place even has its star rating, unless i just got someone on a bad day. I was willing to pay the extra cost but decided i rather go somewhere els. Even if i have to lose even more sleep after my long night shift! Anyone reading my review good luck maybe you will have a better experience. I am just over this new normal of rude people now days. If you're thinking of servicing here- don't. They up charge you with a "high mileage additive" that does nothing, and the techs arent consistent in doing basic oil changes. Manager threatened to charge me double when I called out a concerning error made by one of the techs. Do yourself a favor for your car and wallet: find an honest mechanic that does the job right. Manager running the place is really bad. Expect long waits with no contact, slow moving staff and no service whatsoever. The value is also bad and the cost is high. I recommend they find a new manager whom can properly staff the site and offer proper customer service.
