We played doubles, and my partner and I won the game against the other two players. Points are scored only when the serving team wins a rally, and I am a good server. I learned fast how to make the ball hit the court in front the blue line, which is known as the kitchen. Elvis, the head coach, was thorough in his explanation of the fundamentals of the game. We practiced our skills with our peers, getting feedback from the coach that was assigned to our court. There was a coach for each of the eight courts, and each court had four players. I learned the rules of the game and how to score. The goal is to keep the ball out of the kitchen. You can only volley outside the kitchen. The class lasted approximately two hours, and we all had fun. I will definitely be back to take more classes. The birds and ducks are always cute so that is one plus. There is supposed to be a walking trail, but I tried walking it a couple of times to find it quite short and not much of a trail. There is a playground as well, but I have no experience with that part of the pond. And if you sit at the benches near the parking lot, chances you'll catch second hand cigarette smoke from the old guys who sit in their cars all day most days.

The indoor playground, complete with zip line and 3 slides is something I have not seen before in these indoor playground places. They have a section where they have tables for the little ones to sit, and I'm guessing that's where they have birthday parties as well. Mindnasium is a local gem for parents! It rarely has shade in summer when you go there around noon, so it is hard for adults to stay longer. Bring a hat. When I get there after 11:00am, there was no water at sprinkler, but suddenly water came out about at 11:50am.
